The normal spiel, Celestials on Kel'thuzad 11/11M, T/W/Th raid from 8:30PM-12PM EST, Loot is done by loot council (though we'll see how this gets changed up come BFA) with the general rule of raiders > trial and DPS > Tank = Healer with the stipulation if items are a huge upgrade for a trial and a minor upgrade for a raider it may go to the trial. In general we do look for 100% attendance, but obviously we understand when real life things come up and we're understanding as long as you give us some notice. We spend a lot of time on discord with each other, admittedly at this point outside of WoW as the expansion dies down we play a whole bunch of other games like PUBG, OW, LoL, PoE, etc. chances are if you play anything else, at least one other person is playing it.

anyways
I started playing this game around nighthold in a casual guild. We got some great players and poked into some mythic ToS. A few of us wanted to take ABT a little more serious and started our own guild
I think we did really well for a 2 day new guild
We got Argus down to 1% but the guild eventually disbanded
Recruiting was brutal and I got tired of it
and people quit the game cause of RL reasons and burning out
I'm looking for a guild with a solid community while doing some nice progression

That...pretty much sums up us lol. We have probably...6-7? people working software development/IT field, including myself. The average age of the guild is probably 24-27 with some outliers in the 30s and I think the youngest is 21. Our guild was created back in WoD I think about 2-3 weeks into HFC, I myself was either their first or second recruit. Leadership of the guild is made of up 4 people and in general as a council, GM is essentially just a title. Our goal has been getting CE every tier and ~US200 and we've hit that since HFC give or take a couple of spots, I think the lowest we've been was US220.
Our raiding environment is relatively laid back, we enjoy each other's company and enjoy playing with each other
With that being said, our raid leader will keep us focused because at the end of the day we either spend money or time on this game and frankly we enjoy killing bosses lol

I learned a lot during ABT.
If you check my NH parses, which was my first raid ever, I was doing purple with leggo boot/slowring/bracers
I still have a lot to improve but I think I did fairly well closing out the xpac
I tried to join a guild with a few of my guildies but I don't think that's going to happen
I transferred to horde but I'm considering transferring back
Don't know if you guys like to run m+ but I have a 4k+ score

Nice, yeah we have a couple of raiders who like to push high keys
I will say though the majority of the guild is in the "end of expansion" mode where we do the bare minimum until BfA

yup so as of now until BfA we are killing only Garothi -> Aggramar -> Argus unless we have a buyer then we add onto whatever they are purchasing. We try and guarantee mounts/cosmetics to everyone who was in the raiding core when we killed the final boss of the previous tier eg. whoever was with us when we killed Kil'Jaeden. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee mounts/cosmetics to anyone after solely because there's not enough time
Blizzard finally decided not to have super long content droughts
I believe everyone in our raid has the guldan mount sans maybe one or two

Yeah, to be upfront it is a little difficult trialing right now because we do relatively little raiding. We may do a "soft trial" ie. see how you do for the couple of bosses we actually kill and if it's positive we'll do a "full trial" come BfA, but that's something we'll discuss and finalize
