Eagleheart follows with the group after the two vampires found within the very fae district of the town. The crusader, however, was the fastest of the pursuing group -- The yellow colors of his armor shining against the moonlight.

A faint cosmic shimmer enveloped his body, as the man leapt through the trees with hammer in hand. The circuitry of his body attuned to the very star that fed him. Shining brightly on the horizon, it seemed that Eagleheart was somewhat empowered.

The yellow glow continued around him, before finally Neo was cornered, away from the other vampire. Luckily, Kiera was able to reach closer to them -- Apparently, the other vampire drew in a lot of the attention to themselves.

"Tsc. I remember you." Eagleheart spoke, the hammer swinging around, the cosmic remembrance remaining still. Of course he did, Neo was likely his first finding when he started hunting, years ago...

... Perhaps it was something best lost to memory. A time of mercy, where he trusted the words of others, and now, the result stood in front of him. He remembered the kid that he stopped on the cave as if it was this very day.

But no more.

Eagleheart's hammer was slowly brought to be held by two hands. "Keep away from Huangzhou, and its people. I didn't teach you a lesson then - I will teach it now."

And then, the crusader marched on into combat, until he finally got himself to fight with the vampire. The fight itself was short -- The brief exchange of blows was mostly focused on Kiera instead of him, which made Eagleheart try to stand in front of most strikes.

And in one of these attempts, he spotted a chink in the vampire's defense. As the vampire tried to finish off Kiera, Eagleheart stood in front, and blocked the blow with his hammer, shortly after throwing their sword to a nearby tree, trail visible with yellow magic.

The brief disarm was more than enough for Eagleheart to start doing what would be very imprudent of others-- His gauntlet-clad hand met the vampire's face with strength, brimming with cosmic energy.

However, it was a blow powerful enough that it would cause the vampire to be thrown away, coincidentally in the same direction of his weapon. There would be a marking to remember this day by, in the end. Cosmic energy, mixed with the magi's potent holy magic, shone at the side of the vampire's entire body, apparently overspread.

If only it kept contact for a bit more, Neo would likely be done.

The vampires had treaded too close to Huangzhou, Eagleheart along with Kiera confront the vampire Neo, her occultic winds instantly envelop her, twisting and turning around her form, pulling in any who she deemed a threat and corrupting them, there was no talk or preparing, it was an instant charge in.

Kiera keeps light on her feet with her wind magic, trying to keep distance away from the blood thirsty vampire, dodging some attacks but often getting struck by the blade, her clothes and skin getting cut, blood drawn with ease, using her water and ice magics she'd numb the pain and keep fighting, blasting ice and corruptive winds towards her enemy.

She played no major role in the fight, instead the real fighter, Eagleheart, would be doing and taking the bulk of damage, she acted more as a support, helping slow down Neo with ice and making him stumble with wind magic.

"Whew, damn-- I'm hungry." His tongue lapping over each individual fang as the corrupt husk sifted through the masses looking for the perfect meal. Something gourmet, someone powerful-- a win worth having. With Voss at his side he was sure that this task would be easy, trust in his kin. Something that they should earn, but something that Neo just gives. A horrible quality.

A mistake, a simple slip up.

People gather, Non magi scream and cry as the terrifying beast ravage. Who answers there calls?

Of course, Eagleheart.

Glowing pink iris's stare at the male, and his sidekick. A slight tilt of the head from the breathless, yet living beast. "The cowards in the caves, ay? Yes, I remember you as well. That was when I was young, before the fame-- no talk, die easy and I won't eat your other friend." Like he said, no talk.

Muscles contort as he flexes, the gap in power was shown right then and there. --Eagleheart was going to need some assistance, and he had it. Neo never complained, it was his destiny, to fight every fight and to come out alive every time. Death is a joke, having already experienced it. He came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to happen ever again.

Ice covers the battlefield, as tainted winds eat away at the Vampire-- each small cut healing in record time. Overwhelmed still as while he dealt with all from the girl he had to simultaneously fight Eagleheart who by know means is a pushover-- then he felt it.

The arcane, oh such an ability.

His own very corruption fighting against the arcane, while his sword meets the hammer. Holy magic, occult magic, ice everywhere. Neo had quite the matchup, but one thing was certain.

Death will not see him.

Fighting, giving it his all-- it was clear. These two were too much. Escape was the best course of action, and that's what he attempted. Eagleheart was skilled, managing to disarm him-- completely distracting the Vampire, and as he made a rush to grab his blade.

Connect.

The hammer had sent the corpse flying, ah so embarrassing. He'd live though, flying by the tree he'd scoop up his sword. Using his own ability he'd manage to stop himself from going too far. Although he lost, he lived. No meal, but that will come. His anger, his disappointment; immense.

"Damn... Find Voss, get home. Fight another day, oh Cain forgive. Your blessing is too great, my skill is still lacking. I will improve. The will all fall." Hushed mumblings as he began the search for Voss.

A hand resting on his side, he was in pain. Though it brought a smile to his face, he missed being a star.
