All the snow here melted a few weeks ago, would be very unlikely it was a snowy owl. Maybe a Barn Owl, but still those are still incredibly rare. I'm still bothered about the size, it must have been at least seven feet long, if not bigger. I'll go out tomorrow and see if I can't get a photo of it or something.

My friend heard it too. They went outside to check out where maybe someone hit a powerline. My phone's batteries dieing so I'll have to head out. The weird tappings back this time too but it sounds really frantic. The wind here is ridiculous.
