I dare say you may have wasted your time coming here..." With that, the sphere was tossed to the ground, opening up with a flash of bright red energy. "Porygon-Z, let's begin." Emerging from the light was the small, bird-like virtual pokemon. Its head twitched robotically as its yellow eyes scanned over the subway car. "Zzzzzzzzzzzzee."

The motions of the speeding car blitzing down the tracks, the two powerhouses across the field readying their own stratrgy and frontlines, the appealing female to his side... the scenario was one he couldn't have objected to even if he wanted. Trash talk before a battle, huh? Judai just moved away the stray red strands from his vision in response to the evaluation. "I'd like to think we'd have more of a chance than twelve percent..." The Poke Ball from his belt snapped off between his index and middle finger. "Regardless, may the hottest team win~!" Tap of the button, a fingerroll, and the Pokeball was airborne. The capsule did its usual rotations before popping ajar and flooding the trainer's left with a radiance. Digital gargling sounded from the source whilst six wings erected from the light, with the head and abdomen shaping the bulk. The flash soon dispersed, leaving Judai with his first and favorite Unova-bred: Volcarona. One flap of its sun-tinted wings, the seraphim fluttered off small particles of yellow as it made a descent next to the redhead.

Glancing at her two opponents in front of her, she felt intimated by the fact that Judai and herself were going against the strongest gym leader in Unova and the Frontier Brain. Shaking her head, she took a deep breath to calm down. "Pendra, let's do this!" Tossing the light pink sphere towards the ground as a red light burst from it, out came a giant and bulky centipede Pokemon.When the Scolipede popped out from the Heal Ball, it shook the moving area from how heavy it was. Reni had to grab a hold of something to not fall over from the momentum of the sub and her Pokemon. The giant bug shifts its head towards it's opponents, standing next to the Volocarna preparing for the first move. Turning towards her partner, she flashed him a bright smile. "Let's win this, Judai-kun!" before looking towards the two in front of her, "Normally I don't like to trash talk but... I hope you guys enjoy being poison and burn~"

The small pink and blue creature twitched and beeped a bit as it scanned over its opponents, its trainer doing the same through half-lidded eyes as he placed a hand upon his chin. "Porygon-Z, it would appear the primary threat is the Volcarona. Prepare accordingly." A beep of confirmation, and suddenly the pokemon's pupils faded away and its eyes began to glow white. Soon, the glowing aura began to radiate from its entire form, the Nasty Plot it was forming beginning to boost its attacking power. "Ms. Iris, I would ask you please cover my for a moment, if you do not mind."
[19:50:06]Judai	Suddenly Judai felt like public enemy. Understandable, considering the capabilities of the moth. But that Porygon-Z... its attacks could prove almost deadly if it were left unchecked. The Nasty Plot forced a small quivering of his bottom lip; its already high special attack getting gimped. But two could easily play the buff game. Eyes leering, Judai kicked into a totally different mindset. Volcarona's blue hues glinting in preperation, she only knew what her trainer would order out next. "Alright, babe. Keep on that Porygon-Z's six with your Quiver Dance~!" All six wings stretched out whilst the Volcarona's body circular hovered and glimmered with a faint tint. A small green wellspring formed in the fire-type's shadow, Volcarona soaking in the essense to prepare its body's amp in special attack, special defense and speed; the latter evident with the acceleration of her sways. "Reni, you do the same. Keep vigilant."

[19:58:10]Leader Iris	None of that firebrand, Keep that moth moving Hax. -folding her arms she would grin as Hax unleashed a falling torrent of heavy stones and rocks, this Rockslide would be a game ender for the moth if it hit; taking advantage of a double weakness. It also acted as suitable cover, the falling rocks bouncing on the ground and rolling about making a nice ground hazard during the attack itself; while covering the air till the rocks stopped falling. If the pendra was silly enough to rush in the way, it would find its rock weakness thoroughly exploited- Thorton-san, that should be sufficient. I have my own preparations to take, if you don't mind a returned favor?
[20:08:33]Reni	Raising a brow, she didn't like how the black haired male was scanning them. Not only that but she was offended her Pokemon wasn't even considered a threat! Her eyes watch as Volcarona did the same as Porygon-Z; both using moves to boost their attacks. "Will do! " Nodding her head, it seem Scolipede would be the one to protect the moth. "Pendra! Make sure to protect Volcarona until she's ready!" The giant bug shifts and stood in front of the female bug, eyes locked on the Haxorus. "Use Rockslide to counter it!" The giant bug's body started to glow a faint blue, hurling giant boulders towards the ones that were coming their way. This wasn't a pretty sight as the attacks clashed against each other, some from the Haxorus even smacked against Pendra as it took the damage for both of the bugs. The bug flinched when the boulders made contact with its body, but luckily he had a good defense to with stand the attack even if it took a chunk of it's health. The Scolipede turned its head towards the moth, to check if she was already. Reni figured it also took damage, but hopefully Pendra took most of it.

[20:18:50]Thorton	Good lord. They sure new how to make a mess of things. How horribly inefficient... it did, however, buy him the necessary amount of time. Now it seemed that his partner should like to make preparations over her own. Knowing full well the Pokemon's potential, he could only oblige. "Roger." It should be easy enough to keep their attention at this point; Porygon-Z's special attack had be raised significantly, making it the current biggest threat to them, in theory. However, his area coverage was.. less than stunning. Dark Pulse wouldn't do very much against two bugs even with the nice boost, so he'd have to improvise. "Porygon-Z, Tri-attack." As soon as the order was issued, three beams of thunder, fire and ice shot forth from Porygon-Z's beak in a conical shape, spiraling rapidly as they steadily condensed themselves into a single focused laser. This was then swept clean across the battlefield, slicing straight through a few errant rocks still bouncing about. Trying to hit them both would surely prove to be much less accurate and damaging than a single-targeted attack, but the goal for now was simply to buy a bit more time. Hopefully this end would be achieved.

But, stability regained, Judai turned over to his moth to check the damage. Volcarona's body fluttered idly in place, the glow from its previous Quiver Dance subsided and its poise combat ready. Reni did a good job taking the first one for the team, now he had to make his follow-up something to repremend. Foot stradding an invisible line, Judai's half-sleeved arm extended, palms poised towards the duo standing opposite with a battle face. There wasn't going to be any more pauses in the match's momentum. His eyes shifted at the Dragon-type in wait. "Volcarona, dodge and use Heat Wave!" That was the 'Mon's cue. A mighty flap, the firemoth kicked forward with a gust afterburn. Wings folding inward briefly forced its body into an off-side barrel-roll, its boost to speed enabling an easy out-maneuvering of the unnaturally condenced Tri-Attack. First complete roll, it unraveled all six for stability and unleashed a volcanic breath of fire from its small mouth. Now was time to return the favor from before, all its focus spreading out down the car towards Haxorus. The typing was moreso to Iris' favor, though Judai was most likely gambling for a burn for her creature was exposed to its full force.

The heatwave would end up mostly distorted and dispersed by the mighty tears of heaven, though a few darkened scales about her form would indicate Hax did take some damage albeit light.-

This didn't look too good for whoever had to clean up after the battle; pitying the person. She knew that her Scolipede took a blow for the team, but it was still standing. Not only that but it seem that Volcarona was doing okay, relief washed over both Reni and the centipede Pokemon. But they didn't have a chance to relax since Porygon-Z's Tri-Attack was aimed towards the bug pair. "Dodge it, Pendra!" The giant bug started to move out of the way, but the rockslides from the last attack had weaken it so it wasn't fast enough to dodge it. The Pokemon took the blow, being pushed back by the tri attack as it shakes its head after the assult. The bug Pokemon was heaving, it had took a lot of damage for the team. <c>

Can't they had a fight without destorying the place?! Guess not. Her eyes widen as the Draco Meteors were crashing down onto the battlefield. "Pendra! Go behind Volcarona!" It seem that the two bugs had switched roles as the Scolipede used Volcarona as some sort of shield from the incoming attack. "Judai-kun!" Reni glances towards her partner after the meteors were unleashed, "A-are you okay over there?!"

[21:42:57]Thorton	Oh for crying out..! So unrefined, these trainers were. Porygon-Z was having quite a time just avoiding its ally's meteors, the Heat Wave couldn't be avoided. The vitrual pokemon's expression didn't change at all as it reeled from the hit; the benefit of being a non-organic pokemon is that pain was never really a factor until it hit its absolute limit. And as if that weren't enough... just as it restored its balance, a wave of purple goo splashed upon him, coating Porygon-Z and quickly seeping in. Fantastic... not the clock was really ticking. This needed to be ended quickly. Haxorus still seemed relatively unscathed... if the Volcarona could just be dealt with before Z succumbed to its ailment, Thorton was confident Haxorus would have the upper hand against the other, already wounded bug. "Alright. Porygon-Z, use Tri-attack once more. This time, aim strictly for Volcarona." The creature diligently obliged as any machine would to inputs, turning to take aim at the fiery moth before condensing another tri-elemented blast and firing it towards the target.

[22:06:44]Judai	"Pulling out an ace just like that, huh~?" The Viridian youth couldn't help but grin at the situation. That mighty roar from her axe-faced dragon-bred sent tingles up his arms. Judai was just aching to see those meteors smash through the car, though he had underestimated the sheer magniture of their contact once they plowed throgh the skies and collided against the field. Though now was defininte NOT the time to be caught in a gaze. Scolipede taking refuge behind Volcarona forced him to process some oddteen scenarios of the next move. Volcarona would easily be enough to outmaneuver most of the attacks, though it'd leave his partner exposed to the bulk of everything. Now with Porygon-Z gunning straight for him with another pressed Tri-Attack, things would prove to be extremely touch-and go. The meteors quickly crossing no-man's land, Judai called out the only logical next step. "Volcarona, rev up another Quiver Dance baby! We're going to ride out attack!" Vibrant swaying starting again, Volcarona illuminated its usual green aura just as meteors and the Porygon-Z's signature beam pelted dead-center its abdomen, kicking up mass debris and smoke. The attacks did crushing damage, though the second later buff quickly eased and subsided a little of the laser and astral meteors. Shroud cleared, Volcarona was left hovering uneasily in place, body left smudged and smeared from the pummeling. Judai clenched a hand; putting her through that was hard to hold a straight face at, but not watching his friend's back would've been selfish and irresponsible this late in the tag match. "Volcarona, you alright!?" He gasped, concern vibrating in his tone. The firemoth only nodded slowly... small legs twitching amongst its fluffy coat. Observation made it clear they were in the yellow/orange, though the boost to stats held easy compensation to Judai at this point. Now was the dragonchild's turn to strike.

Thats some true fighting spirit, I cant call you childish anymore; even if it might cost you the match it still made you look like a real man. -she would then fold her arms and nod, indicating without words for Hax to proceed with what she thought was best. This ended up being another arena quaking rockslide, with Volcarona at about 50% and Pendora in the red; there would be no second jumping in the way. This would be enough to defeat either of them, or both of them if either decided they wanted to be a sacrifice. Thankfully the special attack reduction did nothing to hamper Hax's massive attack power, unrivaled by anything short of a legendary. Falling and bouncing rocks would make flying evasion difficult by the large bodied moth as well, but the match wasn't over just yet.-

[22:29:14]Reni	Emerald orbs locked on her friend as she frowns. It broke her heart to see the pained look across his face when he witnessed Volcarona at its current state. She felt gulity for having Scolipede use Volcarona as a shield. Taking another deep breath, she glances at the two bug Pokemon, this wasn't looking too good on their part. She had to do something! Even if it means sacrificing one for the team. Biting softly on her bottom lip, her body started trembling. Glancing back over to Judai before at the Scolipede, closing her eyes tightly. "S-sorry Pendra..." She mutters to herself before opening her eyes and pointing towards the incoming Rockslide. "Pendra, go in there and give it your all with your own Rockslide!" Yeah, it was risky and they would both still take the damage, but it was better than having Volcarona take the full blow. Scolipede stepped in front of the fiery moth once more. Unleashing another Rockslide against the Haxorus' and taking any damage for the Volcarona. Of course this meant sacrificing its own life to protect the other bug. Reni's eyes widen, watching Pendra falling and hitting against the floor, causing a small rumble due to it's large size.

[22:38:53]Thorton	An unexpected surprise... the longer that poisonous bug was allowed to linger as Volcarona continued to buff its speed, the more dangerous it'd actually become to Iris' Haxorus. But seeing as how it had taken the liberty to remove itself from the picture, it made things much simpler. ...Or it least, it would have, had it not created another shower of stones by clashing with Haxorus. Between attempting to avoid stray rocks bouncing and trying to aim between them, getting off an attack towards the now incredibly speedy Volcarona would prove rather difficult. However, they had the advantage of numbers, and now was the time to press the assault. "Porygon-Z, continue the Tri-attack." Another torrential beam being loaded up, the digital beast shucked and jived, weaving between stones and trying to find an opening to fire through. Suddenly and with little warning, Porygon-Z collapsed to the group, dropping its charged attack as spirals replaced its pupils. The problem with not showing pain is that it's often hard to gauge how much is left in the tank... "Unfortunate... you did well, Porygon-Z." Extending his hand forward, he returned the tiny bird to it's ball. A rare miscalculation.

Though it seemed the tides of the match had changed towards the opposite side, Judai still admited the hurdle Reni sent her Pokemon just to guard his. "Thanks... I owe you one, babe~!" he said in his casual tone,offering a wink and tongue click Reni's way. Volcarona only nodded her regal head when the red beat hit and pulled back her ally in combat. She could just feel her trainer's fiery resolve. The passion he held whenever he looked into the odds. This feeling, the mutual bond between the two erupted something in the moth, her blue glare phasing out anything that wasn't a Haxorus. And Judai couldn't help but get giddy. "Volcarona, crunch time! Two on one is what we live for!" Shifting gaze towards the Porygon-Z: Reni's unfinished business. Already firing off another Tri-Attack down the field his way. "Huh, hoped you guys were more than one-trick ponies..." A quick analysis of the field... then a calculative grin. Rocks. So many rock and bolders scattered around. The set-up was almost perfect. "Volcarona, let's kick up this debris: Bug Buzz, full thottle!" There was nothing holding back the sheer force radiating from the Volcarona's powerful wing flaps. Almost double the power of a normal Bug Buzz thanks to the buffs, the moth's vibrations blasted mostly all of the residual Rock Slide up into a full-on boulder avalanche, walls of stone and soundwaves pushing back across the median and firing at breakneck speed and force. The immediate shuffling of the rocks providing excellent scapegoats to nerf and aid Volcarona to outmaneuver the beam, though the bulk of the hailstorm danced across the subway cart. All gearing at Haxorus.

A boon of the graceful movements and speed boost was allowing it to weave and sway around stones that might have hit otherwise, while that powerboost allowed her to smash and split stones with her powerful axe blades that might have otherwise brought her to a pause. It was truly a dance only a dragon could muster, grace plus power ending in a tumultuous roar that vanquished the remnants as the dance exploded into something more.- This is my two trick pony, Draco Meteor! -letting out an even louder roar the train would again begin to quake, as both Iris and Hax were surrounded by that glowing green purple and blue draconic aura. Yet one would expect that with the prior special attack reduction this move would be nearly useless, this would be true if it was to be used in the traditional sense. Yet The leap of faith taken skyward into the falling meteors quickly dispelled that theory, as Haxorus would curl up into a ball just under the largest of the falling meteors and smash it downwards with its axe blades. This would make it plumet down at Judai's partner with rediculous force, splitting down the middle at the last second to impact and create not one but two explosive crators.-

[0:19:34]Judai	Interesting. That damn Haxorus wouldn't stay put, though now would be the time Judai went a little... unorthodox. "Babe, you know the drill Match her with your own little dance number~" During the Haxorus' Dragon Dance, Volcarona prepped herself with yet ANOTHER Quiver Dance, bringing her agility and special profession to an almost deadly spectrum. Her back and forth sways were almost instant, never stayng in the same spot for more than a second whilst her wings flapped fast enough to form a solid pearlescent orange shape. The Dragon's fire resistance would no longer be a lingering factor to Judai in this match. But here we go again, the Haxorus roared and the heavens once again answered its cry. No hesitation; Judai wouldn't wait around for it to power up full-force. "Volcarona, kick off those afterburners and get through that shower. Condense a Heat Wave and show her exactly why we run the special game now~!" It all seemed like telepathy at this moment, with the moth seraphim flapping one of its wings and taking off to the air before the words muttered even rolled off the trainer's tongue. Volcarona's unmatched speed gave it the reaction time to analyze and measure each meteor for what they were worth while they fall through the air, the Heat Wave accumulating on its tongue growing more vibrant and powerful in the few alloted seconds. Smaller, non-problematic meteors were plowed through with chip damage, although held no falter in movement thanks to the plus three buff in defense, whilst its amped reflex enabled it to bob and weave around the bigger and bulkier ones that would have overwise slowed it down. Those astral meteors wouldn't be any more lethal than a pebble after this point but— Odd combination from the gym leader, now seemingly using added force of her Dragon to increase the strengh of one of the meteors, though that's why she was paid the big bucks. Although that was the thing: it was only one meteor to watch out for. The firetype making that the priority of the next attack, Judai just watched motioned the hair from his vision and revealed that signature glint. Confronted with priority A, the reinforced Meteor, Volcarona offered no hesitation in making that the priority of the next attack twisting upwards at an angle, tossing off its powerful blaze during the moment of impact. Its slimmer cone collided against the Haxorus' attack mid-air, all of its power, all of its will easily offering equal opposition. Judai's stance remained static with no flinching from the lock, only his skin forming sweat from the increasing heat in the car. Volcarona held her ground, wings offering stability in the air from its powerful rounds and keeping complete focus around the seam Iris seemed to leave in the asteroid. Eventually the rock would slowly pull apart at the seam before eventually being completely being overpowered and forced up against the car's ceiling, shattering amongst the metal and hailing back down to the battlefield in a molten debris.

[0:30:24]Leader Iris	TIME TO END THIS DOUBLE CHOP! -her young form howled to the heavens, an echoing sound that was very much inhuman. As that draconic aura that rose around Iris while Hax had unleashed its second meteor, only exploded in power giving confidence to the pokemon as it dove down into the oven so to speak. It was a synergy that only the dragon and her master could hope to understand, the heart of dragons bridging the gap and empowering them both. Flying down behind the meteor it had hurled, it would curl into a tight heavily armored ball that would smash down hidden behind that meteor. The end result being Hax smashing through the draconic stone that had acted as a shield and being exposed to that torrent of flame for just that split second as its twin axe heads lashed out in a cross cut time four aimed dead center at that moth. If it chose to stop its flame to evade, it would have the explosion of the stone left behind to deal with being propelled again into the ground by the dragon that fell from above.-

[1:31:54]Judai	First meteor taken care of. Good. Though... Something about that Haxorus doing the same trick... Judai was quickly musing about as to what he'd counter with next. The Heat Wave did a good job dampering her first meteor, now came the second with the Haxorus hidden in it.. Great. Though, did the dragon tamer really expect the Volcarona to be out of its elements up there airborne during all of this? Hell, they ruled the skies at this point with their stats. "Babe, watch out for that dragon behind that star!" Once the first meteor was shattered, immediate attention went into the Pokemon hidden behind the second. Its flame this time widened to cover the entire rock, ensuring that it stayed in place for a longer time. Though, that crash. That damn dragon bursting through the seam with a readied Dual-Chop. Should he get out of the way? Or keep up the attack? Actually, he decided to do both. "Volcarona, downward with Bug Buzz~!" Its flame quickly faltered, though the switch over offered no pause in momentum. Wings beating even faster, the Buz Buzz vibrated off the larger creature with enough riochet, combined with the moth's descent to the ground helped propelled it backwards while maintaining a set zone between the two as they both freefell through the skies with its pelting soundwaves.
