  4. here to tell you that it's that's a big
  5. myth okay because usually people that
  6. are self-interested tell you to read
  7. books authors tell you to read books
  8. podcasters tell you to listen to podcast
  9. you know bloggers tell you to read blogs
  10. right I mean they're just promoting
  11. whatever they're doing they know it's
  12. bullshit right I mean some of them do I
  13. guess and some of them are just ignorant
  14. the thing is you don't really need to
  15. read anything
  16. people say that oh look the very
  17. successful people read books all the
  18. time you know they read a book a week or
  19. read a book every few days a new book
  20. okay did they have it backwards actually
  21. they have it backwards
  22. my mouth is quite dry today I don't know
  23. I should have drank some water before I
  24. went out but anyway let's continue they
  25. have it backwards because people that
  26. read a lot and are successful are not
  27. successful because they read a lot they
  28. are successful because there are curious
  29. by nature they're very curious and they
  30. try to learn new things all the time
  31. because that's their nature they love to
  32. learn so they can't just go around
  33. asking people what they think because
  34. most people don't know what you're
  35. talking about
  36. most people's opinion is worthless so
  37. what they do is they read books by
  38. experts on certain subjects they read
  39. books that's what they do it's their
  40. nature to be curious and if you're
  41. curious
  42. you have a high probability of being
  43. successful in life just be curious
  44. they're not successful because they read
  45. books they're successful because they're
  46. curious okay so you don't need to read
  47. anything in life from this day forward
  48. if you want to be successful in business
  49. specifically in business there's only
  50. three things you need to know and these
  51. three things are first of all you need
  52. to be in the right industry if you just
  53. want to be a let's say a garden-variety
  54. millionaire a few million a year you
  55. know you can pick almost any industry
  56. you want almost any industry okay
  57. and if you're persistent and you have
  58. the third thing that I will talk about
  59. in this video you will become a
  60. millionaire very likely but if you
  61. really want to make it successful in
  62. life then you have to pick the right
  63. industry you know you have to pick the
  64. industry that has produced the most
  65. billionaires up to date you know this
  66. might change obviously but I think it's
  67. pretty safe to say in our lifetime this
  68. will probably stay the same
  69. okay so just research which industries
  70. have produced the most billionaires up
  71. to date and I can tell you I can tell
  72. you there's probably a few of them but
  73. there's three top ones financial
  74. industry real estate and big players on
  75. the internet big place not small little
  76. diming stuff like Amazon eBay it's a big
  77. place your own websites your own thing
  78. that you do you know big big place
  79. and once you take them public or you
  80. sell them to a competitor they need your
  81. technology then you made it big you know
  82. so that's it you need to pick the right
  83. industry to be extremely successful just
  84. moderately moderately successful you can
  85. probably pick any industry but to be
  86. really successful Hecht a millionaire or
  87. a billionaire you have to pick the right
  88. industry second thing you have to do is
  89. you have to reverse-engineer from your
  90. goal back what does that mean well what
  91. you do is let's say you want to burn
  92. like I talked about before let's say you
  93. want to earn a million dollars a year
  94. and if you want a detailed plan how to
  95. earn a million dollars a year I have a
  96. video called how to earn 1 million
  97. dollars a year so just google it I'll
  98. just search it and you'll find it it's
  99. very detailed it includes math so be
  100. prepared we have to reverse engineer
  101. from your goal back let's say you have a
  102. goal of earning 1 million dollars a year
  103. you have to reverse engineer from that
  104. goal and come to the action you need to
  105. take the amount of action you need to
  106. take each day to achieve that goal in
  107. the end in a certain amount of time that
  108. you set yourself the shorter the time
  109. the more action you're going to have to
  110. take each day longer the time the less
  111. but that's basically how you do it you
  112. have to know how much action you need to
  113. take each day because if you don't know
  114. you're gonna miss the mr.gold
  115. for sure you're gonna miss it and then
  116. you have to have to stick to that action
  117. every single day
  118. ok so third thing is ok third thing is
  119. you have to have a big enough pipeline
  120. sending you prospects you know so you
  121. can become successful financially you
  122. have to have a big enough pipeline
  123. bringing your prospects what there's
  124. different types of pipelines pipeline
  125. just means you know producing pipeline
  126. just means that you're producing
  127. prospects in large enough numbers to
  128. achieve your goal and the thing is that
  129. you know certain certain different
  130. industries can garner different
  131. different pipelines different amount of
  132. prostitutes you can garner from them you
  133. know I'll give you an example
  134. I love kite surfing right I really enjoy
  135. it
  136. I've been kite surfing now for three and
  137. a half four years almost and I love it
  138. so much that I wanted to start my own
  139. kite surfing brand produce kites
  140. produce all the other equipment produce
  141. apparel you know under my own brand and
  142. I've researched the market and I found
  143. out that the market is not very big the
  144. market has been in existence for I don't
  145. know 15 years or even more yeah probably
  146. a lot more actually so the market has
  147. been up for a long time since they first
  148. started kite surfing but still the
  149. market of new buyers and all buyers is
  150. not very big I mean it's in the it's in
  151. the hundreds of thousands per year not
  152. even millions that's below a million a
  153. lot below a million units sold per year
  154. a lot below so I mean that market has
  155. a ceiling a quiet abrupt feeling and I
  156. wasn't deterred by that because I know
  157. that probably my branding would be would
  158. win out at the end and I could you know
  159. take quite a significant chunk out of
  160. the market but what I did is that okay
  161. the market is small but I really like
  162. this at this space and I really love the
  163. sport so let's test it and see what kind
  164. of response again so what I did is I
  165. tested the market I made a few projects
  166. that I made a few prototypes and I put
  167. them online you know I made a website
  168. you know I made a website my people made
  169. a website and they put stuff on Amazon
  170. they put stuff on eBay with good
  171. pictures with they shot the pictures you
  172. know I have a friend who's very good at
  173. kite surfing much better than I am he's
  174. almost a pro but he's not making any
  175. money from it but his skills are almost
  176. a pro level and you know they I just
  177. paid him you know for the day and he did
  178. tricks and they shot him with the camera
  179. obviously they didn't shoot him with a
  180. gun fish you know they mean they made a
  181. few videos of him and made a few
  182. pictures so we can put it on the website
  183. and on eBay and Amazon and I tested the
  184. market and my people made a few videos
  185. on on YouTube you know just basically
  186. sort of clickbait videos to see if
  187. people would actually you know if some
  188. people would buy you know from all these
  189. sources from Amazon from eBay from
  190. YouTube you know from from our own site
  191. and the tests revealed after two months
  192. of testing almost two months wasn't
  193. really two months but it was close to
  194. two months
  195. after two months of testing it revealed
  196. that the product that we were pitching
  197. which were innovative in a way and the
  198. prices were really really good it wasn't
  199. much there wasn't much biting you know
  200. people there were a few there were a few
  201. of pre-orders but not enough to say okay
  202. this has potential we also changed the
  203. messaging a few times you know to see if
  204. our messaging is wrong to see if our
  205. branding or our positioning is wrong we
  206. change it if I remember correctly they
  207. changed three times but the second time
  208. did was the best it garnered the most
  209. prospects and most pre-sales but it
  210. wasn't enough to actually say okay this
  211. is something worth pursuing so we
  212. dropped it and the videos that you can
  213. see on this channel if you go back you
  214. will see those those videos that are
  215. people made just simple you know under a
  216. minute videos that would garner some
  217. some clicks and maybe some you know
  218. pre-orders you know the videos did worst
  219. obviously you know the Amazon did the
  220. best eBay was the second web site was
  221. the third and the videos were the worst
  222. so that's how it was and they opted for
  223. sort of clickbait titles because you
  224. know it Garner's the most clicks and you
  225. can have a good enough statistical and
  226. you can have a good enough statistical
  227. probability you know like if it just
  228. Garner's a few hundred clicks you don't
  229. really know if the data you're getting
  230. is
  231. but if you get like I did well I'm all
  232. I'm I'm talking about I but you know
  233. it's really then what they did garnered
  234. almost almost 90,000 views and we got a
  235. few orders from that if I remember
  236. correctly those it was a year ago so I
  237. don't know I think it was about three or
  238. four orders three orders
  239. so it wasn't wasn't very successful so
  240. the market is the market is small and we
  241. tested it and we proved that it's not
  242. worth going into okay so that's it
  243. see certain markets don't have a big
  244. enough pipeline to get you to your goal
  245. so you need to enter market that that
  246. you can garner a big enough pipeline to
  247. reach your goal you know whatever your
  248. goal is if it's a billion dollars you
  249. would have to garner a lot of prospect
  250. yeah if it's a billion dollars you will
  251. probably you'll probably have to you
  252. know raise capital from the public and
  253. get money that way and provide certain
  254. services if you know what I mean
  255. so that's it three things like I said
  256. you don't need to read any business
  257. books you can just follow what I'm
  258. telling you here you won't read anything
  259. new if you read a hundred books from now
  260. on
  261. so that's it big enough pipeline
  262. reverse-engineer from our goal back and
  263. enter the right industry okay that's it
