wxwidgets fail on hosts file

wxwidgets fails using hosts file on current-and-updated Fedora 20
Below is the line that causes the fail.  It is from a hosts file on a child-friendly system (which I hope is self-explanatory).  It does not represent the entire solution.  Just the portion of the hosts file that allows reproducing the wxwidgets failure.
