lihwa was born in korea at the time of the ancient joseon dynasty. she was always a curious girl who dreamed of being outside all of the time and running through the fields with the grass and the pretty flowers. however, her parents were strict and protective of her. they never let her go outside on her own and whenever they did go out, she was never allowed to leave her parents' side.
she lived a very sheltered life growing up, hardly ever leaving the house without trusted people with her. her parents always told her that the world was a nice place and they never mentioned the dangers around her. this made her want to leave her home more and explore the world. however, she was still not allowed to. all she wanted was to have some freedom.

lucy was born in bristol, uk, to an architect father and a photographer mother. her household was very creative and she was always watching her parents work. she became interested in art due to her father, who used to allow her to watch him draw.

when she was 8, lucy's father got s huge promotion. however, it meant that they had to move to korea. lucy didn't mind this as she was able to find a new place to live and see more of the world.

lucy was scouted by the company at the age of 18 when she was leaving the supermarket in korea with her mother. they offered her an audition and she accepted it, attending a week later and succeeding.
