The whole day had been exceedingly depressing for everyone and she couldn't do anything but force a smile on her face when asked how she was holding up. Ji-eun wasn't like everyone else, she hadn't been super close to Na-young, they only interacted at school after all. Maybe that's why she felt really depressed as well, it was because she felt she didn't have the right to be so sad when there were people like Eun-yeong and Hyunjae who had been oh so close to the girl.

  82. Pushing away those thoughts, she packed up her school bag and headed for her locker to grab a notebook she needed to take home. This time she had a feeling she'd stay at home rather than pester her classmate at his job. She didn't want to annoy him when he was already probably down in the dumps. But as the girl was closing her locker, the gasp of a classmate made her turn and stare at the girl, noticing an envelope at her feet. Curiosity got the best of her and Ji-eun walked over to Eun-yeong's side like every other student, peering over her shoulder as she picked up the envelope. "It's the same." Her voice was soft, barely above a whisper as she stared at it, recognizing the signature scent and design.

  85. Na-young had used those constantly as she was particularly fond of stationary and always made sure to have some on hand. The contents of the letter were enough to make Ji-eun's heart race, feeling like it was too soon for something like this to happen. What if it was just a prank? What were you supposed to do in that situation? Carefully, the girl took the piece of paper from the trembling hands of Eun-yeong and read it over again, eyebrows furrowing in concentration. "I think we should go and check it out." Ji-eun took the hand of the dancer and they began to head out in the direction of the library, not really discussing the letter or anything.

  88. The only good thing about going to the library after school was over was that it was completely empty. There was rarely anybody in the library at that point in time which would make it easier to search for a book. The only problem was that they had a pretty big library and were looking for only one book. The only upside to the situation was the fact they had the boyfriend and childhood friend of Na-young in their class which meant they would most likely find it without struggling too much.
