  1. ══─────────╡Introduction╞─────────══
  2.
  3. Bloxtown School is one of the most popular and active school groups on ROBLOX. Currently, with thousands of members, it's constantly growing and new members are always joining; frankly, we aim to provide an environment where everyone can learn without any distractions and be taught by only qualified staff members. Of course, this does mean that upon joining, we'll need your assistance as the student to respect the school environment and listen to staff members in order to create an inspiring and well-maintained environment. Essentially, this guidebook aims to explain and answer any questions students have regarding the group and anything else that's relevant - so read on!

  15. ══─────────╡Important School Information╞─────────══
  16.
  17. School sessions are only hosted through the school week - in order words from Mondays to Fridays. Occasionally, extra sessions may be hosted during things such as holidays; however, only if the hosting high rank decides to do so.
  18.
  19. Each school session throughout the week commences at 18:00GMT/13:00EST and most often finishes at approximately 19:25GMT/14:25EST. From time to time, extra subject sessions will be hosted or some sort of an event will occur meaning that the school day will be slightly longer. Likewise, if an issue or exploitation of the server occurs, the session will almost definitely end early if the issue cannot be resolved.
  20.
  21. This is a non-uniform school, so you can arrive in your own clothes - as long as it isn't anything inappropriate. The school British, therefore the times are suitable for those living in the UK and most teachers will use the English spelling of words.
  22.
  23. Newly joined members are known as people who're "awaiting placement". These members will be ranked every Monday, Wednesday and Friday due to the high amount of members joining the group.
  24.
  25. The actual school can be found under the "Group Games" tab and upon entering, there should be a phone icon located at the bottom right of your screen. Ensure to check that out as it contains useful things such as your timetable for the day. The timetable is always subject to change and if a teacher instructs you to ignore it for the day, you are to do so without question as there will always be a reason behind the request.
  26.
  27. Occasionally, special themed events will be in-place and you can view the group shout to be aware of when these are occurring; it's optional to adhere to them.
  28.
  29. And finally, we do not offer every single subject due to multiple reasons. Either, staff aren't qualified to teach unorthodox subjects such as Japanese or cooking online and also because there are too many to fit in meaning most classrooms would just simply be empty. Check your timetable to see all of our available classes over a period of a week.
  30.
  31. Other group information is displayed in the group's description.
  32.
  33. ══─────────╡Rank Guide╞─────────══
  34.
  35. Straightforwardly, this section will explain the role of each rank and how to achieve it. Always refrain from asking for promotions as it'll only reduce your chances of actually getting one; it's also very irritating to deal with it.
  36.
  37. Awaiting Placement | You will be ranked every Monday, Wednesday or Friday to a "house", of which there are four. You just have to be patient while waiting for that rank, although you're very welcome to join in on school sessions.
  38.
  39. Suspended | Students here have had their basic group privileges removed due to unacceptable behaviour and might receive their rank back if they start behaving correctly.
  40.
  41. Chestnut, Elm, Oak or Willow | You're officially a member of the school! All of these houses have equal rights and house a colossal number of students each.
  42.
  43. Supply Teacher | Individuals who're allowed to assist teachers in a classroom appropriately but cannot teach unless absolutely necessary and unless given permission. These people can train to become teachers or send an application to become a teacher when they're open.
  44.
  45. Teacher | Send an application which can be found in the next section of this guide to any of the high ranks, for a chance of obtaining this position; we expect complete activity and commitment if you're given this rank.
  46.
  47. Head of Department | Be selected by either the Headmistress or Headmaster for this position if you're trustworthy and qualified enough as a teacher.
  48.
  49. Developing Staff | The owner can promote you to this position if you're a capable builder or scripter and if you're trustworthy and capable as a member of staff.
  50.
  51. Deputy Headmistress | Selected by the owner; capable head of department members who help manage the students and teachers and can host if required.
  52.
  53. Headmaster | Selected by the owner; essentially an overseer of the group. Manages the group alongside the owner and other high ranks.
  54.
  55. Headmistress | Owner, manager and one of the founders of the group.
  56.

  84.
  85. ══─────────╡School Rules╞─────────══
  86.
  87. In order to avoid chaos from occurring on the group wall, in the classroom or outside it - rules have to be put in place. Please ensure to follow all of these rules otherwise punishments will be given. The rules below are ordered in severity of offence - the more severe your offence, the harsher the punishment of course.
  88.
  89. LOW-LEVEL OFFENCES:
  90. - Constantly roleplaying (we're not a roleplaying school)
  91. - Disobedience
  92. - Disrespect and immaturity
  93. - Online Dating
  94. - Spamming
  95. - Advertising
  96. - Posting untrustworthy off-site links
  97. - Refusing to sit down in class
  98.
  99. The punishment for the low level offences is typically a few warnings, followed by a much harsher punishment such as a kick from the game and then a suspension if it persists.
  100.
  101. INTERMEDIATE OFFENCES:
  102. - Attacking users
  103. - Trolling
  104. - Racism, cyber-bullying
  105. - Attempting to scam/scamming
  106. - Major disobedience
  107. - Gross disrespect to staff member
  108. - Constantly ditching class
  109. - Glitching constantly
  110. - Imitating staff members/pretending to be a teacher
  111.
  112. Obviously, the punishments for this escalate much more quickly. It's typically only one warning, then a kick or a ban from the place and then group punishments.
  113.
  114. HIGH-LEVEL OFFENCES:
  115. - Exploiting the server
  116. - Admin abuse from high ranks
  117. - Constant repetition of low-level or intermediate offences, throughout the week.
  118. - DDoS'ing, DOXing and so forth
  119. - Group operating abuse from high ranks
  120. - Leaking private real-life information to the public
  121.
  122. If you break these higher-level offences, you're sure to be kicked or banned instantly and most likely either suspended or exiled permanently.
  123.
  124. Of course, not every single rule in the world was mentioned; however, please do use common sense and refrain from finding loop holes in these rules as you'll still be punished for stupid things which just aren't mentioned above.
  125.
  126. ══─────────╡Conclusion╞─────────══
  127.
