- 12 Hour Challenge #15
- August 5-7, 2022
- Welcome to another installment of the 12 Hour Challenge! It's the speedrunning event of the summer that critics are calling "a thing you can do this summer" and "Hey Golden, do you still run SMW?"
- On the weekend of August 5-7, try to learn a new speedrun in 12 hours or less. This event is open to players of all skill levels, and in fact it caters to curious beginners just as well as it does experienced speedrunners. You learn at your own pace on whatever days you want throughout the weekend. Learn a run on your own, or invite your friends and learn together. Consult with resources from the community, or challenge yourself to invent your own route. However you choose to do it, the goal is to finish your first run by the end of 12 hours of learning.
- Being the washed up speedrunner that I am, I would greatly appreciate your help spreading the news of the challenge. Here are some ways you can help (and sincerely I am thankful for your help in doing these, it keeps the challenge relevant):
