	Many students go to the university, when they want to continue their education after high school. However, the big part of them choose to do their degree abroad rather than in their own country. Why? In this essay I want to present some benefits and drawbacks of this solution.
	There are many pros of studying abroad. First of all, when you go to the university and live in another country than you lived by far, you can get to know culture and customs of this place. Everyday, when you will walk around your new surroundings, and talk to new people, you will slowly become a part of their world, have same habits as them, and finally you will know the “new” place like a book. Furthermore, abroad you will meet many new people. New environment equals new friends, new loves and new view of the world.
	On the other hand, if your university is hundreds of miles from home, it is really hard to travel between this two places. Consequently, you will probably be able to see your family and friends only on holidays. Moreover, studying abroad can be really expensive thing. If your family is not rich, and you did not won the lottery, than you will have to find a job in place where people use another language than yours. For some people it is a really big obstacle.
	In conclusion, doing your degree abroad has many pros and cons, but in my opinion, advantages outweigh disadvantages. I always wanted to see the world, get to know a new culture and meet new people with different view of the world than I have.

Volunteering is more and more popular among young people these days. Some students even choose to do voluntary work during the long holidays rather than working for money! In this essay I want to present pros and cons of that decision.
The benefits of voluntary work are obvious. First of all, you can make a change. Some people and animals really need help and resources which you can provide them. Furthermore, you can volunteer for some selfish reasons, like improving opinion of the environment about you. Most people like good kids who help strangers for free.
On the other hand, you cannot get back the time that you spent on voluntary work. Volunteering does not bring any material benefits. In the same time you could go to paid work where you could earn money for your own expenses. Furthermore, some people problems can really burden your psyche. Not everyone can hold working with poor, or sick people, especially when your work would not bring expected results.
All in all, voluntary work has many advantages and disadvantages, but in my opinion, drawbacks are not as big as benefits are. I always wanted to help people and I really hope that if I need help I will get it as well.
