- In the dining hall of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, the final showdown had begun. On one side stood Mike, standing tall and proud. Behind him were the friends he had made along the way. Chica, who was actually quite shy under her aloof and abrasive exterior, Bonnie, Mike’s stalwart friend, and Foxy, the distant loner with whom Mike had formed a rivalry. Across from them was the menacing figure of Freddy Fazbear.
- “Hehehe…” chuckled Freddy. “ Michael, do you really believe that you can defeat me? I, Freddy Fazbear, am the most powerful animatronic in the world!” Brown arms swept out in a grandiose motion as Freddy proclaimed his superiority.
- Fire burned in Mike’s eyes. “You may be strong, Freddy, but you’re not just fighting me,” he said. “You’re fighting all of us, and with the help of my friends, we’re going to defeat you!”
- The four animatronics and one human glared at each other, tense. A drop of water fell from the leaky ceiling between them. The moment it hit the ground, the battle began.
- Although he had been in the back of the group, it was Foxy who reached Freddy first. ‘H-He’s fast!’ Freddy thought to himself. A look of surprise on his face, he swung a heavy paw forward, only for Foxy to disappear from sight. Reappearing behind him, Foxy swung his hooked hand before Freddy even had time to react. As the animatronic bear fell to the ground, shock plastered on his face, Foxy folded his arms and leered down smugly.
- “Yarr, that be almost too easy,” the fox said. Suddenly, Freddy disappeared mid-fall. “Wh-What?!”
- A voice came forth from behind Foxy at that moment. “It was a hologram.” Foxy only had enough time to widen his eyes before Freddy folded him in half with a terrifying punch.
- “Foxy!” Mike, Chica, and Bonnie called out, still running. Freddy leapt forward to meet them, flinging forth his microphone. Chica threw her cupcake in response. The two objects clashed in midair, and amidst the sparks Mike rocketed forward and entered into a melee with Freddy. Man and bear traded blows, dodging and blocking, until they connected with each other’s faces with a mighty cross counter.
- Freddy stood his ground as Mike was knocked backwards, only to be forced to bring his forearms up into a block against Bonnie’s guitar. With a grunt of effort, he slung Bonnie’s guitar away, and in the same motion spun into a kick that sent the rabbot flying.
- Finally, it was Chica’s turn. Unfortunately, the chicken was only able to land a single punch to Freddy’s stomach before the boss robot grabbed her head with a single massive paw, lifted her off the ground, and then slammed her back down brutally. The bear smirked as he stepped over here, ready to finish Bonnie and Mike off once and for all. However, before he could do so, Foxy tackled him from behind.
- The two of them were dragged to the floor in a tangled heap. Luckily, it was Foxy who ended up on top. The fox rained down blows on his opponent. Freddy tried in vain to defend himself. Taking a particularly vicious punch to his jaw, he bucked Foxy off of him. Foxy scrambled to stand up, but Freddy was faster. With a stomp, the fox was put out of commission.
- Hobbling forward again, Freddy was stopped in his tracks when Bonnie stood in front of him. “Get out of my way,” Freddy growled, “before I turn you to scrap.”
- Bonnie was resolute, though. “I’d be a pretty bad friend if I did something like that.” The rabbit raised both of his arms into a fighting stance.
- Freddy harrumphed at him and stepped forward. The two animatronics threw short-range punches and kicks back and forth. Although Bonnie tried his hardest, it was not enough. It was a smug Freddy that walked away from the confrontation.
- Grinning and chuckling, the bear pulled out a cigar from inside his suit and lit it before placing in his mouth. Before him was the last obstacle in his path to world domination. The security guard. Mike stood on trembling legs and glared.
- “Give up, boy,” Freddy said. “Join me, and together we could rule the world.”
- “Never!” responded Mike.
- “Very well, then. Don’t say I didn’t give you a chance.”
- The two traded blows once more, but this time it wasn’t so even. To Freddy’s surprise, it was Mike who had the upper hand this time. Freddy threw both hands forward, trying to trap Mike between them and gain the advantage. Mike, however, slipped under both of them and planted a firm punch to Freddy’s gut and then followed it up with an uppercut.
- Freddy flew backwards and landed in a crouch. Mike stood triumphant over him, making Freddy grit his teeth.
- “To think, someone like you would force me to go this far…”
- “It’s over, Freddy,” said Mike. “I’ve won.”
- Freddy slumped over, shadows covering his face. As Mike watched on, the bear’s shoulders began to shake. Laughter, quiet at first but growing louder, came forth from him. “Hahahaha! You fool, you think you’ve won?” The bear stood up, all signs of fatigue gone. “I’ve only just started. For you see, this isn’t even my final form!”
- Mike’s eyes widened. “What?!” Freddy flexed his entire body and started to growl. That growl turned into a shout when the bear threw his head back. Mike stood transfixed, unable to interrupt. A flash of light blinded him, and when his vision cleared the guard looked on in shock.
- There stood Freddy, except he was different. All of his injuries were gone, his endoskeleton had melted away, and his suit was a bright gold. “Well, Mike. How do you like this? I’m no longer Freddy anymore. I’m…” The bear flexed in a bodybuilder pose. “GOLDEN FREDDY!”
- Mike frowned at him. “Golden Freddy or not, I’m still going to defeat you.”
- “Tch, you can try.”
- Mike sprung forth and immediately landed four hits in rapid succession on Golden Freddy. The human spun around behind the golden figure and hit him from being with a jab-cross, and then jumped ten feet in the air before coming down with an axe kick on top of Golden Freddy’s head.
- Landing back in front of the bear, Mike panted. Turning to face him, Mike was stunned to see Golden Freddy standing there, arms crossed, completely unimpressed. Not a single bruise was visible on him.
- “If that’s all,” Golden Freddy drawled, “I’d like to get this over with. I’d like to be done taking over the world by the time 6AM rolls around, after all.”
- Mike wasn’t sure what happened next. One moment he was standing defiant in front of Golden Freddy. The next, he was staring at the ceiling. His scattered thoughts were brought to a halt by a sudden burst of hot pain from his cheek. Slowly, painfully, he moved up into a sitting position.
- Golden Freddy looked down at Mike, arm still outstretched in a punch. “Forgive me if I don’t monologue, but please understand that I have a schedule to stick to.”
- “Heh… I guess I’ll have to use ‘that’ in order to win.” Mike said, quietly.
- Golden Freddy scowled down at him. “What was that, brat?”
- Mike stood up on trembling legs, knees nearly buckling under the effort. Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply and then calmly let his breath out. Suddenly, he stilled completely. Golden Freddy looked on, puzzled.
- Then, Mike vanished.
- Golden Freddy was launched into the air by a kick before he even realized what was going on. Before he could begin to fall, he was knocked downwards by another blow. Then, he was hit yet again in the side. More and more hits came upon him at every angle, punches and kicks coming too fast for him to even see.
- “This… THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!” Golden Freddy screamed. Finally getting knocked to the ground, he immediately pushed himself back to his feet. “How? How can you do this? HOW ARE YOU SO STRONG?!”
- Mike was in front of him now. “How, you ask? Because I have my friends counting on me. Because I have the world counting on me. The real question is, how could I ever lose to someone like you, who fights only for himself?”
- Mike raised an arm out in front of himself. A ball of pure energy began to form in his palm. “So long, Golden Freddy.” With those final words, he fired an energy beam at his opponent.
- The yellow bear braced himself for impact. He struggled against the beam, putting every ounce of strength he had into not getting overwhelmed. “No! This can’t be! How can I lose? I’m the strongest!” At last, the energy beam became too much for him, and it washed over him. As he vanished into the light, he bellowed forth one last sentence. “I’ll get my revenge, Michael Schmidt!” When the light vanished, he was gone. Mike stood, solemn, proud of his victory.
- The chime for 6AM played, and Mike collapsed to the floor giggling. The other 3 animatronics on the floor around him started giggling, too, and got up. Freddy popped up from underneath a table nearby, unable to hold back his own mirth.
- “Well, Mike, that was pretty fun,” said Bonnie.
- “Yeah,” Chica said, “I forgot how great playing pretend was.”
- Mike wiped some tears from his eyes. “Yeah, that was fun. You guys wanna watch some more anime when I come back tonight? We can play some more pretend afterwards.”
- “Aye, that would be fun, mate,” Foxy said. “But, err, how about I be the protagonist next time?”
- The five shared a laugh before the animatronics went back to their respective places, ready for a day of entertaining children. Mike stopped by his office and retrieved his bootleg VHS. It wouldn’t do for management to find out, after all.
