- Dear HR Manager,
- I wish to apply for the post of Security Engineer as advertised on your web site. I am very interested in the opportunity, as the job description seems an ideal match with my experience and knowledge.
- As you can see from my attached resume, I have been involved in numerous Physically Unclonable Functions (PUFs) related projects. In particular, my internship and thesis at University of Naples Federico II focused on researching PUF-based mechanisms to protect Intellectual Property on FPGA. During my current job at CeRICT, I am still strictly working with the University of Naples, and I am further expanding my research on PUF-based mechanisms to provide secure authentication or cryptographic capabilities for both FPGA and System-On-Chip architectures.
- Over the course of my career I have:
- - Published two conference papers, while two further conference papers and two journal papers are currently under review;
- - Worked with three different PUF architectures (Anderson PUF, Ring Oscillator PUF, and SRAM PUF);
- - Performed statistical analysis of the impact of different environmental conditions on the quality of the Anderson PUF and SRAM PUF;
- - Designed new PUF-based protocols;
- - Implemented secure and reliable mechanisms on Xilinx FPGAs, and on STMicroelectronics devices.
- Attached is a copy of my resume that further explains my background and technical skills. I can be reached anytime via e-mail (pierpaolo.bagnasco@gmail.com), via mobile phone (+39 347 93 55 280) or via Skype (p.bagnasco@hotmail.it).
- Thank you for your time and consideration.
- I look forward to speaking with you more about this opportunity.
- Best Regards,
- Pierpaolo Bagnasco
