- ## Introduction & Gameplan
- [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] is appropriately nicknamed "Attackharmonicon", and rightfully so. This brutally and brilliantly simple commander doubles up on any effect or ability that triggers whenever a creature attacks, whether that ability is tacked onto that creature or another permanent source.
- This deck is packed full of aggressive creatures that want to attack in order to trigger their abilities. On their own, these effects are decent enough, but when they start triggering twice, they become straight gas. We also have several ways of giving our creatures an edge in combat, because we want them to stick around after attacking so they can continue attacking later. We don't want them to be chump blocked and die, so take a look at the **Packages** section of this primer to see all of the different options available to protect our creatures when they go to war.
- Overwhelm opponents with tokens, treasures, and just sheer unblockable combat damage. If that isn't enough, this deck has a few combos we can assemble to decisively clinch the game.
- And there's not much more to it. Play creatures, get Isshin on board and swing for the fences with all of the double triggers you possibly can. As the glorious flavor text on [[Assault Strobe]] once said -
- *"When breaking someone's face once just isn't enough."*

- ===panel:Ramp (12)
- - [[Sol Ring]], [[Arcane Signet]], [[Boros Signet]], [[Orzhov Signet]], [[Rakdos Signet]], [[Talisman of Conviction]], [[Talisman of Hierarchy]] and [[Talisman of Indulgence]] all produce mana on their own.
- - [[Captain Lannery Storm]] and [[Goldspan Dragon]] create Treasure whenever they attack.
- - [[Battle Angels of Tyr]] can create Treasures when it deals combat damage and the opponent has more lands than we do.
- - [[Sun Titan]] can reanimate any permanent with CMC 3 or less, meaning our fetch lands, our horizon lands [[Sunbaked Canyon]], [[Silent Clearing]] and finally [[Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire]] are all on the menu. So each time it attacks, we can recycle a land from our graveyard, effectively serving as ramp.

- ===panel:Removal (11)
- - [[Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia]] has a whole suite of removal abilities that trigger when he ETBs or attacks.
- - [[Drakuseth, Maw of Flames]] can deal targeted burn damage to three targets whenever it attacks, six if we have Isshin on board.
- - [[Damn]] can be targeted removal or a board wipe if we overload it.
- - [[Mythos of Snapdax]] is sort of a board wipe except we can choose to leave our opponents the worst stuff they have and force them to sacrifice the rest.
- - [[Path to Exile]], [[Swords to Plowshares]] and [[Terminate]] can all deal with creatures.
- - [[Fracture]] and [[Wear // Tear]] can deal with artifacts and enchantments.
- - [[Anguished Unmaking]] and [[Generous Gift]] can get rid of any permanent. Flexible removal.

- ===panel:Card Draw & Card Advantage (12)
- - [[Esper Sentinel]], [[Archivist of Oghma]] and [[Mangara, the Diplomat]] all have stax effects that draw us cards depending on what actions our opponents take.
- - [[Audacious Thief]] can draw us a card whenever it attacks.
- - [[Breena, the Demagogue]] can draw us a card whenever we attack an opponent with higher life than another opponent.
- - [[Tymna the Weaver]] can draw us cards based on the number of opponents we dealt combat damage to on that turn.
- - [[Commissar Severina Raine]] can exchange creatures for card draw, which synergizes nicely with all of the tokens we can create in this deck.
- - [[Battle Angels of Tyr]] is an insane card in this deck. Myriad says *"Whenever this creature attacks, for each opponent other than defending player, you may create a token that's a copy of this creature that's tapped and attacking that player or a planeswalker they control. Exile the tokens at end of combat."* These angels also draw us a card if they deal damage to an opponent with more cards in hand than us. So at best on their own, they can draw us up to 3 cards. However, if [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] is on the board, Myriad will trigger twice and create an extra set of tokens to attack our opponents, so we can potentially draw 5 (from the original [[Battle Angels of Tyr]] attacking one opponent and 2 copies attacking each other opponent). Not only that, but we can potentially get some treasures and life as well.
- - [[Etali, Primal Storm]] doesn't explicitly draw us cards but it does let us cast our opponents' spells, effectively functioning as card advantage.
- - [[Night's Whisper]] and [[Sign in Blood]] are just cheap and efficient one-time card draw spells.
- - [[Smuggler's Copter]] doesn't get us ahead on cards but it does let us loot if we want to dig for new cards or combo pieces.

- ===panel:Combat Tricks & Protection (11)
- - [[Basri Ket]] can make a creature indestructible so it can swing without worry.
- - [[Flawless Maneuver]] can make our creatures indestructible at instant speed to save them from removal on the stack.
- - [[Niblis of the Urn]] and [[Radha's Firebrand]] can both tap down a creature when they attack, two creatures if we have [[Isshin, Two Heavens as One]] on the field, so these two can disable our opponents' strongest blockers to help our creatures attack unhindered.
- - [[Iroas, God of Victory]], [[Loyal Unicorn]] and [[Dolmen Gate]] both prevent our attacking creatures from taking damage in combat, so we can swing freely and not care if they are blocked (we just want those sweet attack triggers).
- - [[Reconnaissance]] is insanely good in this deck because it's a free and instant-speed way of removing our creatures from combat before they have a chance to take damage. So we can swing to get attack triggers, but then remove them from combat before combat damage occurs.
- - [[Odric, Master Tactician]] lets us choose how our opponents block so we can just say "no blocks" and safely let our creatures attack.
- - [[Mother of Runes]] and [[Giver of Runes]] can grant a creature protection from a certain color so they can swing past creatures of those colors. Or they can be used defensively in response to a removal spell targeting one of our creatures.

- ## Combos
- ===accordion
- ===panel:Combo 1: Wild Port Razing
- **Requirements**
- - [[Delina, Wild Mage]] and [[Port Razer]] on the field and not summoning sick
- **Steps**
- 1. Move to combat and attack with your creatures, [[Delina, Wild Mage]] triggers.
- 2. Roll a d20, the result doesn't matter since we just need one token copy of [[Port Razer]] attacking and dealing combat damge to an opponent.
- 3. The [[Port Razer]] token copy triggers. All of your creatures untap and there is a new combat phase.
- 4. Repeat steps 1-3 until you cannot deal combat damage to opponents anymore.
- **Notes**
- - Opponents need to take combat damage from the [[Port Razer]] token copy in order for the combo to continue, so consider getting something like [[Odric, Master Tactician]] into play before attempting this.
- ===endpanel
- ===panel:Combo 2: Infinity Mirror
- **Requirements**
- - [[Delina, Wild Mage]] and [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]] on the field and not summoning sick.
- **Steps**
- 1. Move to combat and attack with [[Delina, Wild Mage]].
- 2. Roll a d20, result doesn't matter so create at least one token copy of [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]]. This token has Haste and is not legendary.
- 3. Tap the token to create a copy of itself (we can do this since it is not legendary). The new token also has Haste, so you can repeat step 3 an infinite number of times.
- **Notes**
- - This doesn't win you the game on the spot but it does create infinite tapped Kiki-Jiki tokens so if you can make it back to your turn or have a way to untap your stuff and get an extra combat (such as [[Port Razer]] or [[Aurelia, the Warleader]]) you can win with your infinite tokens.
- ===endpanel
- ===panel:Combo 3: Breaking Ports
- **Requirements**
- - [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]] and [[Port Razer]] on the field. Does not matter if [[Port Razer]] is summoning sick.
- **Steps**
- 1. Similar to combo 1, but this time we use [[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker]] to create a token copy of [[Port Razer]] except it has Haste.
- 2. Swing with the token and deal damage to an opponent. Your creatures untap and there is a new combat phase.
- 3. Repeat steps 1-2 until you can no longer deal combat damage to opponents.
- **Notes**
- - Opponents need to take combat damage from the [[Port Razer]] token copy in order for the combo to continue, so consider getting something like [[Odric, Master Tactician]] into play before attempting this.
