Anima Live Thread - Settings

Below are the settings used for the now closed Anima weapon Live Thread, for r/ffxiv (https://www.reddit.com/live/yaa1fmwibvkl). The Live Thread was closed on 06/07/17.

There are four sections, prefixed by ###; Title, Description, Resources, Invitation Process (message macros separated by ####). Please request access to the Google Sheets linked below, or create a duplicate whilst they are still accessible.

* Windows are two hours long

* New windows take effect from **start** of the duty, not during or at the end

* No-bonus windows have an RNG chance to give bonus, *where a bonus is actually possible*

Contributor guidelines

* Generally use this format for updates;
 * Duty - Condensation received *or* bonus/no bonus
 * A1S - Robust
 * Shatter - Bonus

* Provide updates for duties you've recently completed in the current window

* Confirm **bonus** updates from other contributors if possible. *Updates which are not bonus do not need confirmation*.

* **Do not spam, or repeat/duplicate updates**

* Updates for duties that cannot give a bonus will be deleted, E.g. Ravana Ex

### Invitation Process

1. A Redditor whilst viewing the Live Thread clicks a link in the resources (sidebar) which opens a preformatted private message or modmail message window. Viewer should send the message to request permission to be a contributor.
2. PM/modmail is received, username is copy/pasted into the box on contributors page (invite contributor section, always bottom of page), update permission is ticked, and invite button is clicked. Message is replied to with a macro (to let user know about guidelines, and gives you an indication of when they were invited) or modmail is archived (gives you an indication of when they were invited, message macro optional). I prefer modmail. Message macros below.
4. User receives an automated message from reddit and any messages sent from you. Once the user clicks the link, and accepts the invitation they become a contributor and can post updates immediately.
