Synopsis:
May 1, 1945 ― Germany.
On the eve of Berlin's collapse, a group of men and women carried out a certain ritual. To them, suffering defeat in the war meant nothing. If anything, the countless lives lost in the battle served as a catalyst to their sacrificial ceremony. Whether or not their attempt bore fruit ― not a soul knows. Following the war, they faded from sight, mind, and eventually into the realm of myth.

72 years later ― Japan, 2017.
Several months ago Shiro Azuma and his family suffered an unfortunate accident which resulted in his family's passing. Although he himself cannot recall the specifics of the accident due to the brain trauma it gave him, not a single day passed without Shiro blaming himself for their deaths and not a single night passed without Shiro being plagued by a horrible nightmare. He could not remember the last time he was permitted to have a pleasant dream; and thanks to the dementia he received from the accident, his everyday reality has been distorted by unspeakable delusions. Shiro loathes his present and he fears what the uncertain future might have in store for him. He is unable to even take his own life to escape all the pain, since he dreads the thought of what might come after death just as he dreads the unknown future. Would he burn in hell or would he be reunited with his beloved family? Or perhaps both? There was no way for him to know. Change or stagnation ― neither are an option for Shiro. And as if that wasn't enough, his friendship with his old buddy Akira was shattered to pieces following a certain incident which lead to a vicious fight that left Shiro hospitalized yet again.

As Shiro finally contemplates suicide in the hospital for the lack of better options, he meets a strange but beautiful girl who bears an eerie resemblance to his late little sister. She introduces herself as the Maiden of the Necronomicon, Geträumte Sünden, and states that she is looking for her älterer Bruder, Hänsel. Shiro is instantly entranced and does not want to be separated from Gretel, and asks her to live with him. She agrees.

The season shifts from autumn to winter ― to the dawning weeks of December, with Christmas on the horizon. Shiro leaves the hospital with the intention to rebuild his new life with Gretel. But even that plan soon falls apart. Irrationality that defies the realm of common sense begins to assault and devour the city. Abnormalities soon seek to destroy everything Shiro holds dear before his eyes with overwhelming violence. He must change, even if it means crossing the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary. His desires are hardly anything grand. All he wants is to return to those days of old. Back to those days filled with simple, everyday joy.

The battle with the Longinus Dreizehn Orden. A continuation of that war full of madness, carnage, and maledictions. What future awaits Shiro at the end of his road...?

Azuma Sora:
>Sora was born deaf and mute. As a result, she was never able to fully express herself or properly communicate with others. She developed autism and her disorders led to Gretel's ability to make illusions real: she wanted to project her thoughts into reality to make up for her inability to speak. She could communicate with her brother by projecting her thoughts inside of his mind but him aside, it was incredibly difficult for her to interact with others. Sora craved "to understand and to be understood". Through her and Gretel's law, everyone will be melded into one. Instead of existing individually, everyone will exist as a part of a whole. Nishimura Reiji / Midas Philosophorum:
>Like Reinhard (when he was the head of the Gestapo), Reiji harbored no ardent desires, nor any grand ideals to boast of. However, the circumstances behind the hole in his chest were different. Unlike Reinhard, Reiji lacked anyone to project onto him any dignity or glory.

In Reiji's head there isn't really much of a difference between the two since both share the same distance from 0. At worst, Reiji is a pebble on the side of the road. At best, a stepping stone for others. But of course, he isn't ever able to truly articulate his nigh-indescribable self loathing to anyone, mostly because of how embarrassing he finds his self-centered thoughts to be.

>In her route Diana decides to try out school for once. At the same time she is also tasked on keeping an eye out for any suspicious behavior of the other LDA members. Prometheia and Tamara are utrerly scared of her joining the school they are in and are basically trying their best to keep her calm. This also prevents the other members from opening up the Swastika there.

Diana and Reiji then find the near death Cyrus and it gets revealed that they are father and daughter. Cyrus then gives Excalibur and Clarent to Diana and tells them to stop Snake. Final battle is Diana/Reiji vs Snake and Azazel.
