Cobalt's thoughts go back to the clock. She remembers that Clockwork said it could have done anything to her, but to be honest she wouldn't have mind a change in race. At least people wouldn't recognize her as Cobalt Ootkins.

Heck if she became something like an Arma she wouldn't even need a change in personality. A bad mouthing and aggressive Arma is seen as a good thing as long as it was still loyal.

Cobalt starts to feel like she needs to talk to someone about her issues. She'd never talk to Nova about them, he'd likely throw some racist comment at her. She doesn't want to even look at Geko and Nikki was......Nikki.....

Doobel was gone. She missed Doobel. She regrets being mean to him, mainly because he was so nice despite every thing she said. Cobalt had a feeling Doobel understood her issue.

Cobalt looked over to a door down the hall. There was always the captain. In fact the captain seemed to have an anger issue but she normally was able to keep her cool. Cobalt would give just about everything to be able to do that.

Cobalt felt a rush of excitement as she opened the captain's door. This could be her big break after all! All she needed to do was just ask the capta- and the captain was asleep. Great.

Cobalt started to mull it over. She started to feel as if she had no right to go up to the captain right now anyway. Kelda lost her friend last night and Cobalt just expected her to listen to her problems. She slowly backs away and closes the door so Kelda would not wake up.

As soon as Cobalt exited the room she spotted a light coming from down the hall. It was Geko. Cobalt would have even preferred Nova more at this moment.

Cobalt just turns around and starts heading for the control room. Nova walks over to Geko after seemingly putting away the items he has been carrying.

[Nova stays quiet for a moment. He looks Geko over as he tries to find out what race they are and where they belong on the race ladder. He doesn't seem to have any clue as to where to put them.] Yes I was about to ask the captain about that.

Nova tries to walk past Geko to head to Kelda's room but Geko stops them. Hermes and Jayna seem to come back from a short tour around the ship.

Anyway, I have decided that I and Nikki shall be going to the other ship. The new crew member should stay with everyone else so she may get accommodated to us. Start packing up Nikki and move your items to the other ship.

[Cobalt stays looking at the screen, never looking back at Geko.] Normally this planet is a good jumping area to some safer and more well known planets but there's a bit of a ludicrous issue going on.

Maybe if you didn't cut me off you WOEFULLY NONINTUITIVE DELINQUENT I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU! Anyway the path is cut off by some Neptune ship in attack mode. It appears it and some other loathsome psycopath are having a battle. Seeing as a Neptune ship is 100 times the size of this one I'm in no rush to get hit in crossfires.

We'll have to take another path but this next path is just horrible in every shape and form. It's a fairly new sector which means there's barely any info on anything and it's likely infested by all sorts of tainted spawns of space. In fact it seems the area is overcrowded by solar deer.

They are grievously ill-bred solar grazers who have nothing better to do then get stuck in ship engines and cause hidden infernos.

Oh that is quite bad! We must make sure to be careful then. Now, tell me about these planets we'll be able to go to.

The first planet seems to be covered in many islands. There doesn't seem to be any major towns at all down there. Sensors pick up some activity, but not much. No info at all about it.

The next planet is Zeverann VIII, home to the Khraast, those hulking rock beasts. It's a planet covered in sandstorms so it's going to be tough to land in. Yet again there's not much into to be picked up, nearly all Khraast live below ground.

The next planet isn't a planet, but a moon. It is mostly covered in water and, seems to be advertising a new rest stop? It seems they're offering free rooms for good reviews. From the scans nothing seems off here though there seem to be a few ruins.

The last planet is Oerson. A planet covered in jungle with large amounts of rivers running through it. There's quite a bit of plant life here. In fact, it's nearly all plant life. There's a few cities down there but I know nothing about them other then that. Info seems to be blocked for some stupid reason.

Let's head to the moon. A free day is a gud, I mean good deal! I'm sure they'll be throwing advertisements at us or the drinks will cost tons of money but at least it'll be relaxing!

[Cobalt just rolls her eyes and sets in the coords. She walks out of the room just as Nova walks in.]

All things have been moved, captain. I will have to inform you though that the other ship seems to have a bit of blood, everywhere. Seeing as it appears we are about to take off, and once we do it will be impossible to travel between ships, you and Nikki will have to clean it up.

Nikki is fond of the blood so it may just be left to you. Other then that all scrap metal and wires have been moved to that ship. We'll likely move the rest of the items once we land again.

Oh, that sounds a bit messy, but no issue for me as long as there is a mop around. I remember the days when I used to believe a mob was a wig. Hehe! [Geko heads off to the other ship to set it to follow the Hermes.]

Cobalt starts her trek back to her room to get some rest. Even though it's only been a few hours she already feels tired out. She thinks about the fluffy pillow nest that awaits her in her room.

Except when she gets to her room she finds her pillow nest gone and the anger inside of her heading to a boiling point.

Back in the hallway Jayna watches Hermes show off his mastery in balancing objects on his head. She hears a sharp and angry yell come from down the hall and starts to wonder if she should have checked out the crew before agreeing to join.

[Thyella was normally never one to be brave. She enjoyed staying out of problems and helping people find ways out of their issues. That was Thyella's life, and it was an enjoyable one. At least, until it ended.]

[Thyella knew the dangers of space travel well and she knew this day would come sooner or later. She couldn't wish for a better end she guesses. While two metal machines got on to the ship, one who put the crew to sleep, and one who seemed out to kill, Thyella made a choice she normally would not have. She distracted them.]

[She was not affected by the songs that had put the others to sleep, and thus tried to stop them. The one who sang ran off while the aggressive one attacked and dragged Thyella to what she thought was an unused room. Battered and bleeding sh asked the ship's AI for help when the machine left. He just worked on his charts.]

[Thyella didn't want to admit, but she harbored a small distaste for that AI. Had it helped she may have been able to live and not be turned into the simple form she was now. At the same time she understands that that maybe there was some larger reason for it. After all, after death she found herself in an odd situation.]

The situation being that she had ended up on the head of an AI who looked quite like the AI who would not help her. She felt it was a bit of fate in the making. She was drawn to people who needed help, and this AI by far needed more help then anyone she's known.
