  1. [23:00] The archon lead the four into the tower, a strangely daunting aura surrounding it. The building was much more cramped than the Valmasian styled towers that it was familiar with, but the closed quarters before the atmosphere all the more oppressive. Heat and strange, psionic static pounded against every corner of the room.
  2.
  3. "Here," began the demon, "my kin return to their roots: we break off the shackles once placed upon us. I will become not twisted by divinity, but free: I will free my soul of this frame as my ancestors have, all across the corners of this world. Shepherds of the end times who, too, saw the chains that the angels have placed upon us."
  4.
  5. "Already, through the power of the creator's own, the barriers upon my soul have been lessened."
  6.
  7. Lugonqi plucked from within its jacket the strange tome it ever carried around. Holding it by both end, the prince held it aloft. Its arcanium bound surface glittered as black magic rolled through the pentagram etched onto its cover.
  8.
  9. "The Tome of N'Lok, Triumvirute Lord of Mind, the greatest archon to have ever lived- the closest to perfection our kind has ever been. Once sentient, 'til its source was plucked away. A store of near limitless knowledge and a receptacle of dark magic."
  10.
  11. Its telepathy was booming with a tone typically unfound. Alazauq had always held a regal manner of speech, but most things were to it a game. This, evidently, was far different.
  12.
  13. "The 'imperfects' of the other lands transfer their being into weapons crafted of their own soul. With the aid of the ancestors, and the shards of creation, I shall render my own soul unto this grimoire to create something greater."
  14. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  15. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  16.
  17. [23:05] At this point used to things yelling in her head for various reasons she doesn't cringe at the booming voice in her mind, instead opting to listen and await what he had to say..
  18.
  19. She thought of what they had done not long ago.. and the process as to how this would be done. What would her part be? A safety net once more? What about Uncle Paris? The same?
  20.
  21. "So we will do... something similar to what was done the other day.. except we're moving your soul into the Tome?"
  22.
  23. She knew it was a bit redundant but she felt the need to make sure it was clarified.
  24. (Coraline Invidia II)
  25. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  26.
  27. [23:06] He had no idea why they were being summoned but he guessed it was important. After all the demon lord was acting with a sort of urgency, much more so than usual. Moving towards the rather cramped tower where they met his nephew and his play thing, interrupting whatever they were about to do be it bad or not so bad.
  28.
  29. Shrugging his shoulders as he took a seat, arms folded and waited for the archon to make his announcement. Listening carefully to the words being uttered by the great ram as he made meaning of what was said.
  30.
  31. A powerful weapon which would allow Lugonqi to transcend his current limits. More importantly a soul weapon. He wondered if it was even possible. Though with the amount of things he had seen and even some he had experienced, it didn't come off as much of a surprise.
  32.
  33. He observed the tome carefully and instantly felt the powerful magic oozing from it. He wouldn't dare ask how dangerous or risky the procedure would be. After all what was life without taking risk? He himself braved that just to bond with the essence that the archon of entropy bound into Paris' own being.
  34.
  35. The Accursed remained silent, nodding his head if needed but not giving any input unless asked.
  36. (Paris Invidia)
  37. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  38.
  39. [23:07] Arms fold across his chest as the Vampire keeps his ears open. There wasn't much that completely interested him. Every race had a peak, someone that broke the boundaries and transcended to different heights. Today Lugonqi planned on advancing, and he was in need of an ally's aid. That being Neo.
  40.
  41. "Ah, the build up was grand, Lugonqi."
  42.
  43. Lugonqi is one of the greatest speakers on Agartha. If words could murder, he'd have the highest body count. He spoke with more strength than most, "Now tell me, how will we aid you this time?"
  44. (Neo Invidia)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [23:07] The Kaor was stunned...It seemed that happened quite a bit when in the presence of Entropy they had always came up with the most unpredictable sorts of plots. To think such a visionary would think to render a portion of their soul onto the ancient tome...
  48.
  49. Ra had no words that came to mind beyond they had hoped such a thing would be possible if such a weapon is created through a soul bond especially with the affinity of a demon soul the amounts of horrific magics that could be expelled from it would be...Unquestionably dire.
  50.
  51.
  52. "Impressive....If such a process is replicable not only for Demons but for others...Soul bound weapons could be quite the useful industry keh…But of course this task must be completed failure is not an option here...I will do my best Archon. " The demon didn't really know what would become of this what the end result would be yet they felt something akin to a calm before the storm approaching.
  53.
  54. Whatever would happen here would be something unlike any other. An ancient weapon forged in the soul of an even more ancient demon no one could predict exactly what would come of it next.
  55.
  56. (Ra'Kamel)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [23:16] A build up- likely unnecessary, but it was setting the mood. And surely it was important to explain what they were to attempt in full detail before a mishap ended the archon's poor life.
  60.
  61. Slipping out from its jacket again came another trinket: a shard of the spires, brimming from dark energies. To the two accursed in the room, they could feel a strangely familiar energy to it, something like a kinship.
  62.
  63. "For centuries, I have utilized this shard to attune my psyche to this tome: all notes, all thoughts written through divine scripture. Now, we must perform the necessary ritual to transfer my being. It will be, keheh.. an interesting attempt."
  64.
  65. Neo could likely anticipate the next step. The demon flipped the grimoire open and began to recite through an alien incantation, hand raised in the air.
  66.
  67. "Ch'ee goka k'yarnak."
  68.
  69. A stream of strange knowledge flowed freely into the two rune writers: the images of ancient symbols and runes that the Archon had studied from the tome, passing into their minds like some strange brand.
  70.
  71. "With the blood of my blessed, you must create the sigils. With the blessed ichor of my own followers, engrave the runes upon this room, my being, and the tome below."
  72.
  73. A subliminal order was given to the two accursed: it was time for a sacrifice of their own blood, as Lugonqi had done for them prior.
  74. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  75. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  76.
  77. [23:22] She took note of the shard in its hand, the one she had seen him use previously to scribe in the book though now its evident... corruption of sorts made sense.
  78.
  79. The Divine tainted by the Archon over time and woven into the pages of the Tome... interesting..
  80.
  81. At the mention of using her blood she was already moving her arm, long before the order came in effect though it simply reinforced her own actions. As long as she was capable come war.. she didn't mind.
  82.
  83. (Coraline Invidia II)
  84. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  85.
  86. [23:26] A shard. Spire shard to be exact. He had never actually seen one before. Staring at it intently with both awe and suspicion. If that thing was as it was in the rumours, then if it got mishandled this whole place could go up in smoke. Vaporized even.
  87.
  88. Yet strangely enough he felt attached to the damn thing He didn't know why but it was similar to when he first met Lugonqi. However he could not recognize the connection with this one, and who was on the other side for that matter.
  89.
  90. A nod was given as he extended his hand out. Forming a dagger out of high pressurized water as he slit his palm making a cut. His blood oozed out of the wound. Different from usual blood and thicker too. Almost black-pitch black. Leaking out of his body and spreading around. Flowing in whatever direction or path. It was all up to his father now to make use of the corrupted blood.
  91. (Paris Invidia)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [23:32] The demon allowed for the information and the knowledge to flow freely within its being absorbing as much of it as the Kaor could immediately starting to utilize its mana to scribe amongst the walls as the blood was let and flowed freely runic symbols that had some familiarity in the Kaor's mind yet no true understanding of them in any context.
  95.
  96. Of course the Kaor wanted the Archon to live through this ordeal they were one of the few scholarly types amongst their kin that had still survived to this day passing with it the knowledge it had harbored from the old worlds. As the demon continued to draw and configure ancient sigils upon the both the south walls it began moving towards the others. The crimson black blood of the accursed was rich and mutated with occultism not mortal nor was it truly demon.
  97.
  98. Yet they still carried the very essence of Lugonqi within them for a ritual such as this to be performed they had not make any missteps Ra making sure each lettering and curvature of the words they drew were as perfect as possible drawing them on in blood on each brick.
  99.
  100. As Ra'Kamel's work had been concluded it would watch closely as Neo finished their part, as it drew more blood it began to douse the tome in the blood of both Coraline and Pairs. Using their mana like a binding agent it would begin to connect all the runes forged in blood on the walls towards his figure. A specialty they had formatted while it read Lugonqi's tome before and tested while working on Coraline's new arm.
  101.
  102.
  103. "I call this a 'Compound runic circle.' by combining runes with different commands and intricoes I can link them all into a singular multicommand. While usually you would need multiple runes working separately you could forge them together to create one rune." Of course the Kaor didn't take too many liberties in the ritual they merely followed the instructions guiding each rune onto the book in the accursed blood staining the Arcanium with their vile essence. Now the Kaor merely waited for Neo's part to be done as well.
  104.
  105. (Ra'Kamel)
  106. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  107.
  108. [23:37] The shards, fabled to make the impossible, possible. Neo's heard a ton, but has never truly seen them in action. Lugonqi was going all out with this one, and like always Neo would be approving of such. Anyone who allied themselves with Neo had one job.
  109.
  110. To be the best. You cannot underperform in his presence, it would only result in your demise.
  111.
  112. He figured his role at this point.
  113.
  114. Everyone plays their part, and Neo would preform the proper runes to complete the ritual. He stared to his hands eager to partake in such. Demon-kind was always favored. They were strong, unlike most humans, they were honest. You are never to trust them and they tell you this. It's never a surprise when they turn their back on you.
  115.
  116. "Aha, I see. I see."
  117.
  118. That language, he couldn't never get a grasp of it. But every time it's spoken progression is made.
  119. (Neo Invidia)
  120. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  121.
  122. [23:49] The blood of the archon's two blessed began to flow, a strange mixture between man and demon, some strange middle ground of abominable ichor. And like paint, the two talented runescribes began to place down the ancient runes, coupled naturally with their own abilities.
  123.
  124. A favored symbol was naturally the pentagram, yet within it were many smaller sigils and characters. Covering the archon's bare flesh lay great purple lines of blood written on, similar to the engravings it adorned during an Accursed ritual. Yet it was different.
  125.
  126. It was similar to how one might imagine a Qilin or Oscuri with their enhanced leylines, though in a far more distorted manner. But its central feature was its focus upon the empty hole in the archon's chest: a mythril container that had been emptied of the holy and divine magic within, leaving only a strange rip at reality. As if a rift itself sat in the archon's heart.
  127.
  128. The lines trailed down to the floor, where a tremendous pentagram lay inscribed.
  129.
  130. Alazauq leaned downwards, falling to its knees to hover above the tome which lay flat in its center. It was open at the very center with bloody runes connecting to run across the pages. The archon clutched the black shard tightly and began to chant.
  131.
  132. "Your power, my kin, bestow it upon me! Offer to me your sacrifices: your hatred for this world, your desire for power! Your amibition, your suffering, your sorrow! Give it unto me!"
  133.
  134. "Wgah'n phlegeth s'uhn.. sgn'wahl n'ghft lloig."
  135.
  136. The force of the arcane was heavy in the room was the walls seemed to shake and space teared strangely; sight was turning blury and distorted while light itself seemed to be slowly seeped away.
  137.
  138.
  139. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  140. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  141. [00:02] Ra'Kamel had but one duty here to serve as the visage of dark energy to release Lugonqi from their shackles. Evolution had a cost. it would require a power that broke free the boundaries of life and reshaped it into something new. In other words first it would require death. Grabbing hold of the blackened shard Ra'Kamel would again summon the power that slept within its soul
  142.
  143. The cracks left behind in the Kaor's soul barrier from the last ritual had begun to extend spreading across causing the Kaor great pain as they attempted to transcend their current limits to expel unfathomable darkness unknown to the world hatred anger suffering these feelings could not be channeled easily by demons yet they were somehow attached to their very being.
  144.
  145. As the hazy smoke of dark magic began to spiral around Ra'Kamel while it utilized the shard Lugonqi embraced to help it break through once more to reveal Death to its target. Like a true horror the magic arouse from the demon again.
  146.
  147.
  148. A silent whisper in the back of the Kaor's mind began to surface
  149.
  150. 'Only those who know true death can master it...you cannot learn death...you cannot understand death...you must embrace death fully, grasp onto its knowledge and never let go....
  151.
  152. As quickly as the voice came it disappeared from what faint memories Ra could understand it was the piece of itself lost in the void...straining to resurface the power it once had Ra began to gather unholy amounts of dark magic near its center the spilled occultic blood drawing more power into its gathering of energy and before long an eruption of cloud like black smoke spewed into Lugonqi cracks began to form in he air like a mirror being shattered.
  153.
  154. The Arcane force as well as the Death that slept underneath Ra'Kamel's soul began to surge uncontrollably due to the effects of the corrupted Spire shard. and the demon poured all of its animosity its drive and hatred back into the shard and back into Lugonqi'
  155. (Ra'Kamel)
  156. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  157.
  158. [00:02] This was some next level shit that he was experiencing. Like a cult but way better and the fact that the sacrifices made were beneficial towards the end, unlike falsehood promises made my the lesser humans.
  159.
  160. His blood never stopped flowing, and yet he was fine. Paris having an excess indulgence in the essence of the fallen during the last wall. Channelling what little life force was left of their dying or freshly dead bodies and storing it in his own body like a capacitor to aid his own accelerated healing which was better than that of an ordinary magi.
  161.
  162. Yet still Lugonqi demanded more. If that was so. He closed his eyes for a bit as he concentrated. Difficult in the situation at hand due to the immense chaotic energy warping around and distorting the space they currently occupied.
  163.
  164. Those trusty tentacles that had served him well for ages would grow out once more. Spreading out like a spider's web and utilizing their prehensile nature to creep around and reachthe farthest corners of the tower. They grabbed onto whatever they could hold. the only exception being those in this very room.
  165.
  166. He started to draw from the plant life around him. The plants used to decorate the tower. The little creatures that crawled around and made their homes in tiny holes. All being absorbed. An unfortunate prisoner or two being held captive. All drawn to him.
  167.
  168. And with that he would channel all of that power not to himself, but to Lugonqi. Eventually the blood clotted as no more flowed out, but the life force he was absorbing from other creatures was being channelled towards the Archon. In addition to his own power.
  169. (Paris Invidia)
  170. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  171.
  172. [00:03] Like second nature at this point.
  173.
  174. These demonic runes weren't easy, but having done this as many times it may seem like such. A near perfect pentagram was inscribed as the vampiric scribe was overwhelmed by the sudden rush of knowledge. His hands were free, and moved at great speeds.
  175.
  176. With the runes complete, the sacrifices would begin.
  177.
  178. It hurt- his own kin giving up apart of themselves however this looked yield promising results and with that idea alone it would be given a pass by Neo.
  179.
  180. This experience was otherworldly. Neo for once was truly shocked, he had seen many things in his fifty years, but nothing could top this. The archon had fallen to his knees. The chant was clearly directed at Paris and Coraline, yet Neo could definitely relate.
  181.
  182. His hands out and ready, he would be prepared to make any connections needed when it came to the blood and the runes. The arcane in the building only made this ritual that much more hospitable for the Vampire.
  183. (Neo Invidia)
  184. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  185.
  186. [00:14] Even as her own blood was drawn to write the runes... if nothing else proving how inhuman she was at this point.. she hadn't paid much attention to the way it looked before now.. even when her arm was mostly destroyed.
  187.
  188. Not that it was something she minded.. merely a sign of her ascension she hadn't thought to notice before. She summoned all she could after their previous ritual, the accompanying screams of rage following.
  189.
  190. Using her Gravity to fixate herself in place as they worked she began to get a bit light headed... this was a lot of blood.. and only two of them.
  191.
  192. Nonetheless she regains her focus as she lets out a cry of her own the sound more to keep her grounded rather than show effort as everything she had gathered flooded into the Archon even going further... he had asked for more..
  193.
  194. Her desire for power... the hunger that had always been there though it started as something simple... to be as strong as her other family members.. though it grew into something else. A desire to not only gain power for herself but to take it from others..
  195.
  196. It is what lead her down this path to begin with..
  197.
  198. Her sorrow..
  199.
  200. Even in the ever dwindling humanity she still bore she was in a constant state of sorrow.. as if she were an outcast to her own kind now.. something better in her own eyes.. but worse in theirs. Something that repelled possible suitors away... the others of her generation had someone special even if only temporary... she had no one.. the one time she tried ended in failure.. a fight almost breaking out in Crafthold..
  201.
  202. Her ambition..
  203.
  204. she would be like the one who has remade her.. to break the chains of the Divine's. To show her fate was her own and she was no toy to be played with by some tyrant child god.
  205.
  206. Between all of these thoughts a few tears even leave her eyes as the full force of her magic and gathered essences slams down their link to one another... though physically anchored in the brand the Archon would feel a surge... every non-magi soldier she had felled in the initial conflict of the war.. there should be plenty.
  207. (Coraline Invidia II)
  208. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  209.
  210. [00:22] Mana, emotion, chaos, the essence of life itself: it all gathered and flowed into the demon, where it congested within the warped canister in its chest. Where once a divine sword had been plunged, now lie a rift in its soul, a breaking of any possible shackles. Its emotional cortex was exposed and mingling with all the energy that it had been offered.
  211.
  212. Blood began to drip from its eyes and ears as alien chanting continued to fill the room and thrum through the minds of all. Psionic magics combined with runes to force the flow of fate itself to ripple to Alazauq's wishes, despite how detestable the event itself was.
  213.
  214. Gripping the black shard of divinity, wrapped in strange symbols, the archon plunged it like a knife into its empty cavity where it began to meet with all the energy gathered.
  215.
  216. And then, the ram fell forward, the other end of the gem stabbing straight into the center of the tome. Demon and grimoire were met as the creature lay splayed across the enormous sigil, ritualistic writing covering its entire frame.
  217.
  218. A disgusting power was being unleashed.
  219.
  220. Every fractured piece of the archon's psyche was being forced out, poured wildly into the centuries old book. Visions of the demon's past found themselves invading the minds of those nearby: murder, slaughter, burnings, blood shed. Ancient ruins, but most importantly, an overwhelming sensation of disgrace.
  221.
  222. Arcane magic tore wildly at the lifestream- one could practically feel the world cry out as the power of so many unnatural events and energies were combined.
  223.
  224. And in the aftermath, the demon lay limp above the book. Whether it would survive the ritual was to be determined.
  225. (Lugonqi Alazauq)
  226. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  227.
  228. [00:24]
  229. {LOAD GAME}
  230.
  231. [00:31] Already having dug deep into her own raw emotions to the point she even shed tears for the first time in years now... the wave of raw memories.. or shreds of the Archon's past tore through her mind with more force than they had previously…
  232.
  233. All of the things she saw... all of the emotion she felt.. everything forced through her mind by the psionic pulses of the ritual... resonated with her in some way... it was almost eerie...
  234.
  235. Finally it was over... she hadn't even realized she had lost her grip on her magic and fallen knees onto the stone... she slowly rises ignoring the throbbing.. pain was nothing.. physical pain at least. She wiped at her eyes and looked to the Archon on the ground... wondering as to his status of life or death..
  236. (Coraline Invidia II)
  237. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  238.
  239. [00:42] Death stored within Ra's body as if the very void had invaded their soul overtaking them, A possession unlike any other force that had been dealt. The demon feeling the voice of the void beckoning too it yet know Ra now knew there was no void that spoke no voice that encroached upon its mind.
  240.
  241. It was himself. The twin being that had sent them here in the first. The part of him that had long since been discarded to remain within the void caste out form the experience that was Agartha. To understand them was to understand suffering to know and embrace death itself. Ra had learned many things but only with the shard of divinity I and the thuum of the Chaotic heart beating within its very own chest did it finally understand. The voidling was not completed.
  242.
  243. As the ritual continued the awakening of Ra'Kamel did as well. The whispers of its other half growing louder and louder within its mind. Words forming like tar within its mind
  244.
  245. ' You have done well...you have gathered our heart...three more items remain within the domain of Eternia....continue to gather them....continue to complete us....and find me....and learn to embrace death fully once more.....'
  246.
  247. The ripples of Arcane shockwaves that flowed from Lugonqi threw the Kaor back into a near by wall its own consciousness returning to it slowly. Three more items of itself remained in Eternia...The book it had tracked down...and two others still unknown to it...The Kaor's resolve sharpened again this day to learn death to ascend...to achieve its perfected form. This was what it needed to thrive in this world yet again.
  248.
  249. " I must do this now...I must be completed to and regain my powers... " The demon roared as it burst free of the arcane hold fighting back with its own. yet as it did Lugonqi fell silent its body immovable and it soul in limbo...
  250.
  251. " There is...Nothing more we can do for Lugonqi...the rest is dependent on their own spirit...this has been their plot for long before our births. We must have faith they are worthy of transcendence and move forward with our plans... "
  252.
  253.
  254. (Ra'Kamel)
  255. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  256.
  257. [00:49] She paused. She didn't typically carry a weapon with her here lately but she held up a single finger,
  258.
  259. "Let me just...… Make.... Myself a weapon!" She declared, clapping her hands once together. "Okay?"
  260. (Cordelia Avitus)
