- Helvetii War
- The romans have withdrawn back to Lugdunum among the Allobroges for the year. Due to political machinations in Rome, the Treaty of Vivarum, Pompeius has been given imperium in Gaul. Pisentius returns back to Rome reluctantly. Although of little ability, he Pompeius is now in charge.
- The Helvetii seem intent on making a strike southwards directly into the roman province of Galia Narbonesis, if Pompetius does not halt them they will easily overrun the region.

- 2nd Cilician Pirate War
- After last years botched campaign, Pisentius has been given command over the fleets, while Cocles will make the attack by land and siege their fortress. The pirates, as always, are ready for a fight.
- OPTIONAL: The once glorious Seleucid state is now clouded by endless civil wars and failed campaigns against Parthia. At present, three sons of the previous king vie for power. Antiochus in the east, backed by Armenia, Demetrius in south backed by the Ptolemies, and Philip in Antioch. As the roman forces approach Cilicia he requests support from Cocles in his civil war ( 3 dice will be thrown for each claimant, whoever is higher wins. Cocles may send legion(s) to get +1 on dice roll or vet +2) In return, Philip will willingly join Rome (essentially becoming a governor of syria as a province) and will give syria personal income to Cocles for as long as he lives.
