Aww yes, now that that dumb "spl" tournament is coming to an end, its time for the tournament everyone actually wants to be playing, Doubles Premier League!
FAQ SECTION!!!!

1. How does this shit work???

Okay so people will either sign up for the captain pool or the player pool, (THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR THE PLAYER POOL, that will come later) And once i select captains, we will hold a draft where the captains bid on the players they want on their teams. The captain also gets to play for their own team, unlike SPL. When you sign up for the player pool you will specify which tiers you are willing to play, but we don't know what tiers are going to be included yet, so it wouldnt really make any sense for you to sign up for that yet, would it. Anyways the tournament will comprise of a round-robin part, where the teams face off against each other and the team with the most wins that week gets a win. Afterwards there will be a single elimination 4-team finals and then the champions will be crowned, and the heavens will sing, and there will be a rainbow and some other fairy tail shit.[/hide]
2. How sign up to be captain!?!?!

great question, straw man question asking alter ego!
post "make me captain" or something at least that clever in this thread along with a short (one or two sentence) description of why you think you are the best captain candidate. Additionally, if you were a captain for last year's (S)DPL, you get first dibs on getting your team back!

Oh also thats the other thing this thread is for. Right now the precedence is that there will be 2 dou, 1 dubers, 1 duu, and one bw doubles; but maybe you think some of those tiers are shit! Maybe you think vgc needs a spot! Maybe you think the public is finally ready for LC gen 3 Doubles (i already have your name down for that one, dw kami)! I don't know what you want so like discuss what tiers you want to see in this thread!

4. I want to play in this tour but not be a captain!

I'm glad to hear that! However this isn't the thread for that. The thread you are looking for won't exist until we know what tiers we are going to include, so help me decide by discussing the tiers you want to play!
