  1. Summer was nearing in Colorado back in June 1991. That's when Nathan came along with his two loving parents, a stay at home Mom who gave him all he needed when it came to love and protection. As for his Father, a bold and wise mechanic. Nathan took a lot of his attitude and personality from his Father's side. Nathan's Father always had him by his side on weekend's, teaching him the ins and outs of a vehicle and sometimes taking him out to the gun range without his Mother knowing. Through these two raising him up, Nathan became a strong headed and bold young man and it became clear as he rose through education that he wouldn't be taking any sort of trouble from anyone. Nathan was first suspended back in Middle School when he took a swing for a well known bully who he had caught harrasing a friend of his. These sort of occuronces popped up a lot in Nathan's life, sometimes leaving Nathan bloody and bruised but he'd always leave knowing he'd done the right thing.

  3. Nathan reached Senior year and was having a hard time keeping his grades up. Nathan was so engaged with working on his car and trying to impress this one woman in his life that he couldn't stay focused. Nathan felt hopeless as he watched the woman he found so much love for be swept up off her feet by someone who is abusive and tormenting without anyone knowing. It came down to the last few weeks of Senior year and everyone was ready to get on with their lives. But as Nathan caught glimpse of her walking in, covering that obvious bruise with badly matched make-up and a large book, he knew he had to do something. Nathan brought up the courage to finally confront her boyfriend, attempting to talk to him man to man to figure out the situation, but it ended in a punch up between the two. Nathan didn't get the girl, but he kept her clear of him so he felt like he had succeeded anyway.

  5. Nathan was now done with school and was working his Father in the garage. Nathan was the third member of the team so he had a lot of work to do with very little time to stop and learn, luckily for him he had a good amount of knowledge to get started. Now driving his own car and feeling much more independant, Nathan was a free spirit. Nathan gathered a lot of attention from the local Sheriff's as he used to speed down old roads and scare the residents. Everything seemed to be going well for Nathan until one night he was stopped at some traffic lights, across the road were a small group of african americans that were drinking, smoking and wearing gang colors. As Nathan was about to pull forward, a car flew through the intersection, firing off bullets at the group of men. That attack killed them all, a group of young children barely even starting to learn about life.

  7. Nathan packed his bags, fleeing the town he grew up in. Nathan worked as a mechanic for a little while in San Diego to fund his small apartment and hobbies. Nathan took up hand to hand combat in an effort to protect himself. In the same time he was actively trying to get a gun license to carry a firearm with him so that a situation like the one back in Colorado could be avoided. A couple months into his life in San Diego, he noticed a recruitment flyer for the Sheriff's Department. It was everything that he wanted to do and has tried to do in his life. Protecting the innocent and stopping the criminals that try to take safety and peace away from the city. Nathan went straight for the recruitment and focused hard in the academy, he had put more focus in then he had back in school.

  9. Nathan was finally a Sheriff. Something he and his family were proud of. He spent a lot of time on his own on the night shift, finding it easier that way. The only person he finds himself willing to partner up with his his Canine friend that he has stood by ever since he joined the unit.
