  1. The story happened before Ignitio joined Sworn Eight. At first, Ignitio was a blacksmith in a small town. He was well-known for making high quality weapons swiftly. He collected materials from mountains himself. He even tested the weapons himself against strong monsters. People commented how strong he was for a blacksmith. Someone suggested him to go to Visectram where strong people gathered. He was thrilled at the thought of having more requests to make strong weapons.
  2.
  3. In Visectram, Weyham was showing some soldiers his masterpiece PNK-2. He developed fighting robots and commented that blacksmiths would be a matter of a past and robotic weapons were the future. Ignitio became enraged hearing the statement. Weyham challenged him to make a weapon to rival his robots.
  4.
  5. Ignitio always made swords so he thought of making something different, a katana. He searched for ores and made one. But he was disatisfied, so he went screaming and running around until he found a satisfactory ore. Then, his next step was to find a swordsman to wield his katana.
  6. He met Suzume somewhere and thought she would be suitable. At first, she refused. Afterwards, Ignitio witnessed her fending off challengers with her superb katana skills. He was determined to let Suzume wield his newly made katana. Then, Weyham dropped by and laughed at him, commenting that Suzume looked weak before leaving. Suzume, angry at the statement, agreed to Ignitio's request.

  8. Suzume tried Ignitio's katana and was dissatisfied with it. She dueled Ignitio to let him understand more about katana. She commented that Ignitio was too strong to be just a blacksmith. Ignitio revealed that he was a warrior, but became a blacksmith to inherit his friend's will. Suzume commented why not both? Eventually, Ignitio managed to make a katana that Suzume was satisfied with by continuously forging and dueling.
  9. Ignitio thanked Suzume, but Suzume said she already received Ignitio's thanks, the katana. Ignitio said that the katana broke when they were fending off the drones, but Suzume said she liked the katana and would keep anyway. And then she praised Ignitio's workmanship, showing apprecation as a master wielder of katana, telling him that if he could make a katana that surpassed that one, that katana would be a legendary weapon well known in history. Eventually, Ignitio made Shiden (Purple Lightning) and gave to Reagan. Reagan liked it very much and had it by his side for 700 years until he gave Lasswell.

  11. Then, the story shifted to season 2, Ignitio challenged Lasswell to a fight. He thought of Suzume, who inspired him to make Shiden; Reagan, the first wielder of Shiden; and Lasswell, the current wielder. He wondered why Reagan chose Lasswell out of his two children to inherit Shiden and said he must have his reason. He was thrilled that as both a blacksmith and a warrior, he could fight the wielder of his masterpiece. And he thanked Suzume for inspiring him to become both.
