- Installing every DLC may take quite a while, even if you use the Windows Explorer Search Function to show all update.exe in a single folder. The following method shall save you some much time:
- 0) Have all the DLC folders in one folder
- 1) Create a new folder in a different location with a name of your chosing
- 2) Copy the file structure of any DLC into that folder and delete anything within so that you have only:
- -data
- -autorun.inf
- -readme.txt
- -update.exe
- -update.ini
- -update.lst
- 3) In the DLC folder: Search for "data"
- 4) Move all "data" folders into the folder created in 1)
- 5) When asked because of path.dat and priority.arc, choose to keep them all and delete all path.dat and priority.arc you ended up with
- Note: [DLSite Bonus] [Original Mascot Set] may need extra attention, meaning that it has to be moved separately. If eveything is done right, you will find no data folder
- 6) Merge all update.lst and delete any line with path.dat and priority.arc
- To do 6) efficiently
- I) Copy all update.lst into a single folder and choose to keep all (which ends up numbering them)
- II) Within that folder, where the folder path is written type "cmd" and hit Enter to open the command prompt for that folder
- III) Write or Copy and paste "copy *.lst new.st" (without quotation marks)
- IV) Open new.lst, remove all path.dat and priority.arc lines and check for long lines which reference two files. Separate the line at |0,0,GameData\ ("|" is where you cut)
- V) Copy all lines into 2)'s update.lst
- 7) Run update.exe and wait for the bulk to be installed, at once.
- 8) If you have not updated CM3D2 already, do it now. That's where you get the latest path.dat and priority.arc. Link: http://kisskiss.tv/cm3d2/update
- 9) Consider supporting KISS at least a little bit. I understand that considering the load and price of even just the essential DLC being high and "missing" international support, localization &c you end up here but well...
- 10) Get modification of your choice from e.g. here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MBhoJCRMZ8cb5j9tTUIKjMXp_PGnnWDsMj8E5mVVHIQ . Those are like free DLC and there are more than plenty of them!
- (Since there is still no stop to the updates and DLC releases, neither updates nor update.lst can be provided reliably. Please understand.)
