- **Ken vs Azure**
- _
- Azure’s proposed win conditions that I found viable
- • Hyperion out muscles the enemy team
- • Shredder’s claws combined with his physical abilities leads to him slicing Azure’s team to ribbons
- • Any damage inflicted on Shredder can be regenerated
- • Both characters out range their opponents
- • Stella has the durability of a wet paper bag and dies quickly to a solid hit from either one of his team
- Ken’s proposed win conditions that I found viable
- • Stella’s flames are to hot to handle, being nearly double what Hyperion can handle and he has multiple amplifying forms on top of it
- • Kenpachi out-muscles or matches both enemies
- • Both people have weapons that will focus their strength in a small area
- • Both can easily handle Hyperion’s heat vision
- Viability of suggested win conditions
- • Stella’s heat just outright hard counters Shredder in my view. If he tries to fight her the dude just dies. The heat aura melting him was never properly countered.
- • Hyperion murders Stella fast. Every single relevant durability scan Ken presented was seemingly just missing the context of her being horribly injured by them and not a true durability feat. In fact he argued that Superman’s punches against Doomsday which sent him through a volcano would murder her, which I can easily see Hyperion or Shredder replicating
- • Shredder is ultimately the weak link. He loses instantly if he fights Stella, and I’m not seeing him pulling a solid win against Kenpachi over a hard fight
- • Stella’s dragon mode seems like it’d drop Hyperion due to the durability increase allowing her to not instantly die to a punch and the heat aura increasing
- • I mostly agree with Ken that neither character will be harmed by Hyperion’s heat vision. Or at least notably impacted
- Out of Tier Request
- Azure’s points when summarized are as follows
- • As argued Stella obliterates DCAU Superman with her heat aura
- • Her physicals were argued as being comparable, then were argued as her being able to amp her physicals dozens of times over along with increasing speed amps
- • She has 3000 C homing projectiles that number in the hundreds
- • Kenpachi out-lifts the tier setter, cannot be harmed by him, and slices him to death
- Ken’s counter is as follows
- • Stella can be punched to death before Superman dies to heat
- • Kenpachi and Stella get their weapons melted
- • Kenpachi can be overwhelmed due to Superman’s superior striking ability and skill
- In general I feel like this
- • Kenpachi is in tier. Overall I wasn’t convinced or really shown that Ken has the tools that would make Superman unable to get a win or beat him. Even when Ken is bloodlusted or going full tilt with the restrictions placed on him
- • Stella however, I’m more iffy on. With her argued fire aura, with her argued homing death beam spam, and with her dragon mode boost she seems to teeter on the edge of being to strong. To use his own example, this is not fighting a flattop. But a sentient flattop that’s faster than you when not in a full sprint and has a 500 degree heat aura that extends dozens of feet with you’re only viable win condition being punching it to death before it kills you with homing 500 degree baking products, its heat aura that you’re constantly exposed too, or before it becomes a giant oven that can blast 500+ degree heat blasts in an AoE fashion. His only win condition I see is him punching her before she transforms and him hitting her hard enough with a combo to kill her, all while fighting through a heat aura that is a thousand degrees hotter than something that notably harmed him with light exposure. But if he does land those she just instantly dies if she isn’t a dragon.
- Overall I’d probably say Ken argued her as too strong and she’s out of tier.
- Conclusion
- Assuming Stella is in tier for the crippling durability weakness as previously mentioned (so basically ignoring how Ken treated her up to the very end), overall I think Azure wins assuming Hyperion gets to her first. She dies to one charge since I’m not honestly seeing that much of a gap between what Hyperion can do and what DCAU Man can do. Then its a 2 vs 1 against Kenpachi, which I don’t see him getting through Shredder fast enough to deal with Hyperion coming back. The reverse however (as in Hyperion gunning for Kenpachi) leads in the opposite situation of Shredder being melted then Hyperion being nuked by homing heat blasts.
- Now the thing is, if Ken at all questioned as why Hyperion would attack Stella over Kenpachi while in-character I’d probably just give him the win, since Shredder is hard countered by her in my view. But he never really did. The debate just sorta… assumed they would fight how Azure proposed they would which gives his team the winning advantage in my view.
