Joebob was born to the prestigious Turner family and was raised from birth to be a Pig Farmer, but as he was raised he found he had...skills that his brothers and sisters didn't, a hand for machinery and an especially good hand through dealing with animals. As the years passed he became...not so much tired but bored of his simple life on the farm. He had bigger aspirations than most of his family, aspirations to see the world, top Big Major, become a well-renowned animal husbandrist, and as all gremlins dream to increase his moonshine skills. His wanderlust was fueled even more by a relative of his who collected stories from travelers and the like, hearing tales of Malifaux and the world beyond as well as learning a little bit of engineering from this fellow, he came to consider this person a dear friend. His Family somewhat supported him in his endeavors, but due to his physical strength and natural toughness his Pa, the head of his village, was especially harsh on him about staying behind and helping on the farm, but not as much as his older cousin, although smaller and weaker than Joebob, he came to truly hate him for how he made fun of him and bullied him for "having his head in the clouds." as he put it.
