'Sup, doods!

I am ready to engage in a grind that has been long overdue. That's right, I'm ready to focus on improving my content. My look has been stale for three years and is in need of a major update. I've also fallen behind on personal best videos. I didn't even have the time to make the past archives public in lieu of new uploads like I promised. You know, I probably should just make a separate VOD channel at this point since I might be good for PB videos for a bit. The archives don't do near as well as the highlights, anyway. I may need to rework the whole YouTube member structure to get people to join. It's all part of the overall revamp I need to do. I must be prepared to rethink EVERYTHING... because what I'm doing now is not getting people to support me. I appreciate everyone who tunes in to watch, but I can't do this for a living just from people watching. I must do more to create that value and I'm ready to put in the legwork behind the scenes to do that.

However, I cannot make the time to do that and stream at the same time. Therefore, I am making the fairly difficult decision to put future live streams on hold. Let me get myself right so that I can do right for you. Clearly, I have not been bringing the best form of myself that I could be. I think getting that 7:51 PPL Hard time in Friday's grind was proof enough of that. I can do a lot if I just dedicate myself to focusing on the task at hand. I suspect some undiagnosed ADHD is making this more difficult than it needs to be. I would rather not waste your time by bringing you a sub-par stream.

There are events in the horizon that will bring me back eventually. The LPS minor tournament for Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo will take place in January. I will be broadcasting that no matter what it takes. The next LPS Tetris Attack tournament will start in March. I will be streaming prep for that. Before then, your guess is as good as mine. It depends on how willing I am to engage in a grind.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #1: catch up on stream archives for the members only content. Remember, the Twitch VODs are only available for two weeks and then they disappear forever. I keep them archived on YouTube. I've been falling behind on doing this. This will be done before anything else.
Goal #2: archive the LPS tournament content. I purchased a big hard drive to store all of the videos we make for the tournaments. I now need to make archival copies of the most recent tournament VODs and probably store all of the resources.
Goal #4: edit my personal best runs. My own projects were really low priority compared to the most recent tournament.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This is the big thing I hope to get done before the next tournament.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon.
Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Let's just say I have plans. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.

Streams are on hold until I accomplish these goals. Anything I decide to do will be of the guerilla variety and have very little notice. There would probably have to be community races of some sort in order to get this to happen.
