Ramell’s prophecy

The following was recorded via a mounted display (think Google glass but smaller), It documents Dr. Connar Greens last encounter with Mackenzie Sterling on 6-27-2013 around 7:15 pm EST and the prophecy of Ramell
Mackenzie: (is focused on her phone)
Connar: Ready to go?
Mackenzie: (Jumps) don’t sneak up on me like that!
Connar: Sorry I thought you heard me slogging through the water
Mackenzie: its ok it’s just been a while since I have been this far under the city
Mackenzie: So how do we get to ugly street station from here?
Connar: follow me and revenants like to nest down here so keep an eye out for rats
Mackenzie:  (points to the tunnel) after you

Mackenzie: So what exactly is ugly street station?
Connar: Have you ever wondered why New York doesn’t have an equivalent to Dark Side in London?
 Mackenzie: Not really, but now that you brought it up it is a little strange we don’t have something similar
Connar: it’s because in 1934 mayor La Guardia acting on behalf of the Illuminati, confined all non human entities to the abandoned portions of the New York subway system. After they were relocated underground he then had these unused subway tunnels sealed off and created a special unite in the NYPD devoted to keeping all of New York’s cryptids underground the division of Paranormal Protection and Control (PPC.) Mind the gap.
Mackenzie and Connar cross a vertical drop
Connar: Where was I?
Mackenzie: The division of Paranormal Protection and Control
Connar: Right, as you can imagine a lot of these cryptids didn’t like being sealed underground and eventually a lot of them found their way back to the surface. They would tunnel up from abandoned subway stations to steal the things they needed. In time these abandoned tunnels became a kind of paranormal slum, an inner city in the inner city. The largest of these “cities” is oubliette street station or Ugly Street as the Illuminati have named it. That’s where we are headed; take a left at this next junction.
Mackenzie: so this Ramell is some kind of monster?
Connar: Not exactly he’s an immortal like us, except instead of drawing his power from anima; he draws his power from anti anima
Mackenzie: So this guy is infected!?
Connar: Not exactly, some kind of infected parasite fused with his spine. They were able to stop the infection from spreading to the rest of his brain but he paid a steep price for his sanity. He lost the use of his legs and is now in constant pain but, he also sees things the same way the Bees do. Meaning he stands outside of time everything is happening, has happened and will happen, so he can likely tell us more about the Draculesti’s missing children
 Mackenzie: If the filth is truly part of him now, why would he help us?
Connar: Because he hates the filth more than anyone on the planet, it causes him nothing but pain and he’ll do anything to destroy it. Plus I brought him this.
Connar: (Pulls a bag of weed from his coat)
Mackenzie: you got him weed?
Connar: He requires a gift before he’ll see anyone, and he is easier to work with when he is not concentrating on his pain. Next right then it should be straight ahead

Connar: (pulls back a sheet covering the entrance to a metal shack)
Ramell: I have been watin for you Melchior, de whispers say you come callin soon…ahh and you bring angels wit you
Mackenzie: It’s not Melchior, this is Connar Green and I’m…
Ramell: I know who he is Mackenzie Sterling…or do I call you Boo like dat witch in London. Remedi…she stop the spread but she take ma legs and brake ma back…She should have killed me right dar and din... any ting is better din dis.
 Connar: We need your help Ramell, we need to know what happened to a pair of the Draculesti’s children, Yellia and Mica.
Ramell: Did you bring de ganja
Connar: (pulls bag from his coat)
Ramell: Dat mighty fine of you Melchior pass it here and we begin. Sit Melchior, sit Rani, sit and wait while old Ramell ease his burden.
Connar and Mackenzie both take a seat on a couple of flipped milk crates
Ramell lights a pipe and inhales deeply
Ramell: De whispers tell me you’d come callin soon, come callin bout de singing, bout de children, bout de red one. You start out lookin to protect your hoodie girl and you start looking for de daemon child and dat lead you to de little hunters who go missin in de woods. In de middle of it all is Yamata no Orochi
Connar: that is about the long and short of it. We think Orochi is experimenting on children at a facility somewhere in Romania.
Ramell: heheh…de red man scared you good Melchior, you hear your son’s voice in all de voices of all children...it’ll be your death one day
Mackenzie: What’s he talking about
Connar: it’s a long story
Ramell: Long and complicated, it your way Melchior, always has been, always will be…de whispers say I’m to show you what need be shown and I tell dem to wait for de ganja to work. But since you bring Rani wit you I will be quick as time be precious to her…isn’t dat right Mackenzie Sterling…heheh
Mackenzie: (Summons fire ball) don’t threaten me old man
Ramell: I not be threaten anyone just tellin you what I be seeing, let us begin den
Ramell: (he reaches into a garbage can full of rats and pulls one out, he strokes it on the head before holding it by the tail and dropping it in to the fire. The rat screams as it burns and turns the flame a dark blue. Ramell then takes off his sun glasses to reveal orange cataracts in his eyes)
Ramell: Ahh…I see it now de children you be lookin for are were taken in the forest near dare home. It was Yamata no Orochi that snatched them from the forest, de children be given gifts from gaia as she give gifts to dare kin. Yamata no Orochi sees dis and de possibility of gold. So he takes dem to his lair and try to learn dare secrets. Other wise men, men like you Melchior cut dem and bleed dem, and keep dem in de dream world. De daemons wit de black eyeless faces spew dare purple smoke and trap dem in never ending nightmare. You right to be concerned Melchior for Yamata no Orochi seeks to control the uncontrollable and will doom us all in de process. De mother of 17 faces rides Yamata no Orochi she rides him across the sky, lookin for her child, she screams her name “Emma.” To start your quest, find a place where the wolf men flee de wrath of Yamata no Orochi, from dare you follow de singing and you’ll find the lair of Yamata no Orochi. De bare will come to you in de night and tell you what needs be done.  You will meet de mother of 17 faces in Yamata no Orochi lair Melchior, you Rani will not.
Mackenzie: What’s that suppose to mean?
Ramell: It means agents of de red man will come for you soon. You were fool to get involved with Melchior many powerful people hate him and day will make sure dat he suffers for what he done. The red man lives on in the void Melchior, the mother has taken him into her bed and shown him tings made him her champion. I can hear him on the wind even down here; he calls for your blood he remembers de war and he say he will make you pay for every ting, but he is one part in a grater war to come. De whispers say day are in, day say day are infecting de tress, day say the bees will die and de world will burn and it start in de summer months.
Connar: You have given us much to think about Ramell, thank you.
Ramell: Don’t tank me Melchior, you been a good friend but I only see de tings to come, I cannot change dem but you and Rani might. De dread will start as soon as you leave dis ugly place, so go and face de darkness Melchior. Remember de red man isn’t done wit you yet his people kill de hound and day want to kill you too, but not yet. He waits for you in Tokyo where all tings be decided.
Connar and Mackenzie get up to leave
Ramell: Oh and Mackenzie
Mackenzie turns around
Ramell: remember you never see de eyes of de daemon till him come callin and I’m sorry for whats bout to happen..hehehe… (Coughing fit)

Mackenzie: Do you know what any of that meant?
Connar: I’ll have to go back over it when I return to Seoul but, at the vary least we know where to start
Mackenzie: and where do we start?
Connar: a few weeks ago the werewolves were scared by something if we can find out what scared them, will find our next lead.
Mackenzie: Are you sure about that maybe we should….
Connar: What?
Mackenzie: do you hear that, someone is singing…
Connar: Kenzie? Where are you going?
Mackenzie: mumbling: “hello I walk into empty, dark hallways tell me not to hurry.” I think someone may be in trouble stay here I’m going to investigate
Connar: Kenzie don’t go its easy to get lost down here if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Mackenzie: Relax Connar its just around the corner
Mackenzie Vanishes around the corner
Connar: god dammit, Kenzie!
Connar follows Mackenzie around the corner she has vanished.
Connar: Kenzie?!
