  2. Please bear in mind that I have only fleetingly glanced at this document to confirm predictions I made about the mod (e.g. Sphere Grid modifications) and annotate them in the video. My personal recommendation is to NOT read this until you’ve already seen me progress through the relevant part, because not knowing what to expect from the mod is part of the entertainment. I have included the document up until the enemies I have fought in that episode, so for example for part 1 you won’t see any of the enemies AI/modifications from Kilika onwards.

Pbirdman has not yet publicly released the mod and I am considering this as a bit of a Beta test, once I am done with the playthrough I would have relayed all my thoughts to pbirdman and based on that he may want to tweak certain things. Once the LP is done, I will talk to Pbirdman about sharing the mod publicly for you guys to enjoy too. If you see pbirdman around in the comments please show him some love, a HUGE amount of work went into making this mod, and all the other incredible resources he has made available for us FFX fans, free of charge.

  10. ONLY Standard Sphere Grid can be used at current time (Expert is disabled)

  12. SPHERE GRID ALTERATIONS
  13. All MP+20 Nodes have been replaced with MP +10 nodes
  14. All Character Grids seperated by Lvl 3 Locks (sans Tidus and Lulu entrance for early Kimahri access - these have Lvl 2 Locks)
  15. Tidus - Flee moved behind Lvl 2 Lock / Minor Alterations
  16. Wakka - Alterations to some Str + Acc nodes
  17. Lulu -- Alterations to some Mag + Eva nodes (Doublecast swapped with Quick Pockets)
  18. Yuna -- Alterations to some Mag + Agil + Eva nodes
  19. Auron - Ejector Shot and some other nodes replaces the row of empty nodes later in his grid + Minor Alterations
  20. Rikku - Some Alterations (Spare Change swapped with Nab Gil) (Nab Gil swapped with Pilfer Gil)

  22. It would appear when the game adds this information to the files for an unknown reason it creates duplicates of the following nodes:
  23. Thunder, Pilfer Gil, Curaga
  24. These replace 3x Lvl 3 Lock Spheres on the same path (it doesn't spoil the Mod but sadly as there Ability Spheres they cannot be deleted so the max number of uesable spheres has now been reduced by 3)

  26. GENERAL STUFF
  27. Character OD Bar now takes twice as long to fill up
  28. MP Limit ======= 200
  29. Break MP Limit = 999

  31. 4 New attacks that originally replaced the 4 Extract abilites have been PERMANENTLY removed
  32. 1 new Skill has been added as a last resort in randoms for later levels (but it does cost both MP + OD)

  34. Provoke has been debuffed so it's not a gamebreaker anymore
  35. Some Item/Attack Dps have been altered to mimic changes made to them
  36.  
  37. New status duration system applies to Protect/Shell/Reflect/Regen/Haste (Mainly affects Protect/Shell - the others are affected to a lesser degree)
  38. Status Drop values listed with appropriate enemy

  40. Over 80 new attacks have been added (also some existing attacks have been altered)

  42. This mod encourages you to use all the characters and use their strengths to aid each other to overcome the upcoming challenges
  43. This games plays best levelling char up normally (not hang around grinding etc)

  46. SCAN INFO
  47. Updated Scan info for lots of enemies

  49. Red names at the bottom of edited Scan Data bxoes refer to the enemy name said in Al Bhed (if they were to use Al Bhed for Proper Nouns)
  50. These are only included on the entries that are updated (well on most)

  52. CHEAP STRATEGY
  53. Although I have tried to counter cheapness wherever possible I cannot do anything about players who either:
  54. 1) Overlevel
  55. 2) Abuse Ods
  56. In these cases shame on you lol - but it's your game and either way hope you ENJOY!!!

  58. GAME DIFFICULTY SPIKES
  59. During the early stages you probably won't notice many changes (???? / Oblitzerator battles will probably be first noticable changes along with Ragora HP)
  60. I call them spikes as once you reach the new spike you'll see changes in Damage output etc
  61. Random Battles:
  62. 1st Spike --- Mi'ihen Highroad ~ Moonflow
  63. 2nd Spike --- Thunder Plains ~ Highbridge
  64. 3rd Spike --- Calm Lands ~ Zanarkand
  65. 4th Spike --- Sin / Omega Ruins

  67. Story Bosses:
  68. 1st Spike --- Mushroom Rk Rd ~ Sunken Cave (These Bosses should be alot more fun/challenging)
  69. 2nd Spike --- Mt Gagazet till Sin/Omega (These bosses will be alot tougher than previous)
  70. NOTE: These comments are all based on average levelling up and not overlevelling.
