--Wakes up one day in a house with no one around, has no memories of parents, but has vague memories of existence. They find notes and mail addressed to them from the school and they go in. They observe a few students talking and project their body, accidentally, to see a few people flying above the school while dropping bombs. Panic. Huge panic. A teacher attempts to escort them out of the school but they, unconscious, get swept in to the crowd.
-Hopes to find past experiences and what happened on that day. Uses their own astral projection powers to spy.

--Ghayth is an emotionally troubled, quiet kid. He doesn't like to participate in the group much and he is of average intelligence. Under a lot of pressure. He is somewhat strictly Muslim.
His power makes him question his faith.

--Iqbal is a nuevo riche son of a politician from Mubarak's regime, who is under house arrest. He's suicidally depressed and hates being related to a supporter of Mubarak because he is looked down on his classmates for it. He's a tough-and-rumble kind of guy who tries to act like a delinquent despite his rich upbringing so people like him more.

--Alessa is a foreign exchange student who is from Canada. She has a hard time fitting in because of her skin color and is generally shunned from most activities because she is from Canada.

--The sixth member to join later. Finds out Layla's plans to kidnap Malak. He becomes a parent for the parent-less MC. She's unprepared for parenthood and all this stress. She was sexually abused during a protest against Mabarak, which lead to PTSD. She's a strong woman who argues with harassers on the street.
-Deals with loss of parents, friends, and husband due to isolating herself

--Zain created a cult to worship the MC while not actually believing in them. He thinks the cultists are fools but finds them fun to watch.

--Haydar is Zain's friend and fellow cultist. He secretly believes in the goddess, despite Zain mocking those who do. He's in love with Malak, man or woman, when he finds out who they are.

--Can create a maze and send people there. When in there, their physical body disappears. She cannot manipulate, enter, or send someone there twice.
-Layla is a cultist that works as a teacher in the school. They coordinated the gas bomb to try to kidnap their god.

--A musical genius but hates the pressure put on him from his teachers
and parents. He confides in the MC. Is part of the cult but does not know MC is the Goddess.

--An airhead with a penchant for poetry. She worries about saying the right thing all the time under her lofty veneer. (I think might be my favorite character to write :) )

--Can't be bothered with trivial things, like relationships. Doesn't like talking unless necessary. Very stoic. Is dealing with own gender issues.
