Reasoning: A talk with Yeqin has changed something in Hisame. Despite her "kind" nature that she only sought as a facade, Yeqin was able to see through it some and would not be convinced. Aiming to show that she too could change if she formly surrendered to the Task Force, Hisame would not have taken it lightly. She stated that as a demon that she would not surrender. And now she practically felt like there would soon be a time where she'd be targetted completely. A slight push is what she needed.

TLDR: With the abilities that she currently possessed. Like her Devil Trigger form and regeneration, she felt like there was a possible way to mix the two to form something completely magnificent. A power that felt like the two were conjoined to boost her overall level when she was in a pinch. She's already almost died once.
