PSA: CyrusOne Hit By Ransomware Attack
Seems no one on WebHostingTalk has caught onto this yet but it looks like one/some of CyrusOne's datacenters were hit by a randomware attack.

They have not revealed the full details yet but their share price has crashed about 6% at the market open based on the news so it looks to be pretty serious. More information can be found at: https://www.zdnet.com/article/ransom...nter-provider

We don't use CyrusOne as our infrastructure provider so we aren't affected, but I am guessing there are a few providers who do, so for those who are noticing any funky happening then it is probably related.

I used to be hosted there when i had a dedicated server from Hostgator... Awesome datacenter.. from what i understood it sounds like the same kind of attack that crippled a2 a bit ago .. but ya not much info i read about it a few days ago .. never good to hear.
