- +smoke'n mirrors __ It happens to all of us and I call this sort of thing a "truther trap". The bait is a little bit too good to be true but we pursue it anyway because we want to present an "easy victory" and say: "See! it really *is* all bullsh!t". However - it backfires.
- The additional problem is that those watching can't be expected to do due diligence and they risk absorbing bad information and rejecting events and claims for the wrong reasons. That is the worst possible outcome for the "truth community" because the news media can then portray "conspiracy theorists" as nutcases. _And they would be right._
- The people who stage events (and do damage control for them) are intelligent, well organised and have probably been doing this since the beginning of time. Everything we get to see is carefully controlled and has always been that way. "They" do not make "mistakes" - they offer only "truther traps". And in my opinion that is how "they" can draw dissidents out into the open so that they can be dealt with.
- On a somewhat related note - after (intense) discussion with Robbo Max I am being told that someone had passed on details for you to cover about the "Christine Nixon" interview. I can believe that. When I was new to YouTube I had people privately passing on juicy titbits. On a handful of occasions when I posted about a "hot tip" someone would then post a video debunking the observation and call me a "shill".
- I fell for it because when I first started out I thought everyone was on the same side - but that is not the case. It was a lesson I learned very quickly but damage was done. If you are here for the right reasons then you can expect that kind of thing to happen especially given that you are capable of making engaging and watchable videos.
- With this "genre" (exposing media fakery and lies) - people have excellent memories when it comes to recalling your mistakes and will keep bringing them up while overlooking all of the good work that you have done in-between.
