- ### 2) Who These Terms Apply To
- These Terms apply to:
- * **Server Owners/Admins/Moderators** who add or configure the Bot (“Server Operators”).
- * **End Users** who interact with the Bot through commands, buttons, or messages in a Server.
- If you are using the Bot on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
- ### 3) Description of the Service
- Peacekeeper provides features that may include, depending on configuration:
- * Server setup and logging tools
- * Member onboarding (e.g., verification, role selection)
- * Support ticketing (e.g., opening/closing ticket channels and logs/transcripts)
- * Safety/enforcement controls (e.g., automated moderation actions based on configured rules and/or shared enforcement signals)
- Features may be enabled, disabled, or modified by Server Operators. The Bot does not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., prevention of raids, elimination of harmful content).
- ### 4) Server Operator Responsibilities
- Server Operators are responsible for:
- * Ensuring they have the authority to enable the Bot and configure roles/channels.
- * Configuring the Bot appropriately, including logging channels and ticket staff roles.
- * Notifying members where required by law or platform policy (e.g., that ticket transcripts may be generated or logs stored).
- * Using the Bot in compliance with applicable laws and Discord policies.
- ### 5) Acceptable Use

- We may suspend or block usage that we believe violates these Terms.
- ### 6) Permissions and Moderation Actions
- To function, the Bot may require Discord permissions (e.g., managing roles, managing channels, reading/writing messages, banning members). Server Operators control which permissions are granted.
- Depending on configuration, the Bot may:
- * Assign or remove roles (e.g., verification and role menus)
- * Create, manage, and delete channels (e.g., ticket channels)
- * Delete messages (e.g., moderation triggers)
- * Restrict or ban users (e.g., enforcement rules)
- You understand the Bot’s actions are automated based on configuration and signals available to it. Code99 INC is not responsible for misconfiguration by Server Operators.
- ### 7) Enforcement and Shared Signals (If Enabled)
- If enforcement features are enabled by a Server Operator, the Bot may take automated actions (including bans) based on enforcement logic and/or identifiers associated with users.
- Where the Bot uses shared enforcement signals, it may do so using privacy-preserving techniques (e.g., storing hashed or keyed identifiers) to reduce abuse across participating servers. The precise behavior depends on configuration and implementation at the time of use.
- ### 8) Data Handling
- #### 8.1 Data the Bot May Process
- The Bot may process limited Discord data necessary to operate, which can include:
- * User IDs, guild/server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, message IDs
- * Message content in contexts where needed (e.g., ticket transcripts, moderation triggers, command handling)
- * Ticket metadata (creator, timestamps, type, status, closure reason if provided)
- * Configuration settings stored by Server (e.g., log channels, feature toggles)
- #### 8.2 Logs and Transcripts
- If ticketing/logging is enabled, the Bot may generate logs and/or transcripts and post them to designated channels or send them to authorized parties (e.g., ticket creator or staff), depending on configuration.
- #### 8.3 Data Retention
- We retain data only as long as necessary for the Bot to function and for legitimate operational needs. Typical retention may include:
- * Configuration data while the Bot remains in a Server
- * Ticket logs/transcripts as configured by the Server Operator
- * Minimal operational logs for debugging/abuse prevention
