- To set an eclipse hot key to run logcat (an android-sdk plugin) automatically do the following:
- 1. go to Preferences->Window->General-> Keys.
- 2. find the logcat command which is listed as Show View (View: LogCat).
- 3. enter my shortcut into the Binding field: ALT+L
- 4. Select In Windows from the binding menu
