  2.
  3. Lief tells you, "Yes, come over! Are you still planning on allowing Dusan to come?"
  4.
  5. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Esei has dismissed their fae aaaaanddd..."
  6.
  7. Faintly buzzing, you ask Esei, "Will Dusan behave?"
  8.
  9. Faintly buzzing, you say to Esei, "Dusan -has- to behave or has to go home, O-K? Have already told Bizirik same thing."
  10.
  11. Esei nods solemnly.
  12.
  13. Bizirik, the leothin sits up, posing gracefully.
  14.
  15. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Have already told them to make sure that Dusan behaves."
  16.
  17. Dusan, the coruscant poses similarly to Bizirik, but much less elegantly, splaying his legs all out.
  18.
  19. Reaching out with your mind, you grasp the harmonic song of the domothean energies as you seek Lief.
  20.
  21. An idyllic hillside amphitheatre.
  22. Silvery moonlight sparkles in the air. It is rather chilly. Earthy redolence rises from the well-kempt grasses of this knoll covered in elderflower bushes and magnolia trees here. The flora is dense and wild with plaited boughs before the edge of the hill adorned with pastel hues of fuchsia and snow, where their star-shaped flowers float down idly through the air upon the lightest breeze. Chimes carved of yew lilt from the branches of the trees that form a flat pathway downwards, which evens out the slope of the land. Layered arcs of porcelain marble are nestled against the side of the hill to create a place for respite and the viewing of the arts, strewn with cushions and blankets for comfort among the elements. A moonhart platform streaked in mercurial hues rests before the seating, its edges trimmed with a prismatic shroud that drifts along the ground. Wreathed in vines and adorned with chimes, a sturdy stage has been built into the slope here. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. There are 5 blossoming wine bottles here. Reaching up as high as the eye can see looms the awesome presence of a living totem. A mature hornbeam tree stands proudly here. There are 28 delicate, white ethereal peacock cup cakes here. There are 30 lemon and strawberry mascarpone tarts here. There are 24 pale moon macaron cookies here. There are 6 bottles here. Dusan, a coruscant wyvern, lurks in the shadows here. A radiant stag stands here with pride and poise, silver antlers rising in branching fractals. A radiant stag stands here with pride and poise, silver antlers rising in branching fractals. He is surrounded by a deflection bubble. Snapdragon Aruokei with an Unknown face stands at the ready, her face adorned with colourful warpaint. She wields a jawbone claymore of shark teeth with both hands. Udilya is here. Jolanthe is here, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. She wields a crystalline chrysalis lute in her left hand and a floral parasol of pink and lavender silks in her right hand. Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon stands here in a faint breeze of rustling leaves and birdsong. Moonshaman Eol Ravenfeather dae'Seren stands here, a sheen of moonlit energy radiating from him. He wields a mystic cudgel in his left hand and an athame dagger in his right hand. Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon stands here, flanked by an indistinct entourage of ancestral spirits. Kharan the Innominated is here, sprawled on the ground. He wields a floral blue steel katana accented with golden striations with both hands.

  79.
  80. Lief handles an athame dagger of dusk carefully, studying it, then nods over to Esei.
  81. Glancing about to those gathered, you say, "Uh, have extras, but do
  82. not want to clutter the space, so..."
  83.
  84. Lief tucks an athame dagger of dusk securely into the sash of her kimono robe.
  85.

  89.
  90. Kharan the Innominated says, "Most delicious. I wish I could eat like this every day!"
  91.
  92. Jolanthe Myeras says, "It's pretty well cluttered as is. I think we enjoy our clutter."

  102. Elexia accepts the pie with a grateful dip of her head as she smells of it deeply. She pauses, her mouth twisted in thought at something. "I am so grateful you brought these, place them as you like, Gurashi."
  103.
  104. Esei inclines their head politely to Eol.

  128.
  129. You boggle at Lief.
  130.

  132.
  133. You stare implacably at Lief.
  134.
  135. You have emoted: Gurashi glances sidelong at those gathered, scanning the crowd.
  136.
  137. You think to yourself: Do not see Miss Duet...
  138.

  141.
  142. Speaking to the gathering at large, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says, "I also have some mead - fragrant lavender-infused honey mead, which is sweet and floral, and juniper berry mead, which is tart and dry."

  179.

  181.
  182. Bizirik, the leothin's blank eyes widen as it takes the cookie between its slender jaws and stalks away with it, devouring it quietly and messily at the edge of the clearing.

  189.
  190. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Will not do anything to us. Are just peoples."
  191.
  192. Looking towards you, Esei exhales a long and pensive breath.
  193.
  194. Lief peers down at Dusan, the coruscant, her expression momentarily unreadable, before she flashes a smile at the rest of the gathering. "Anyone else? Cookie, mead, blanket?"
  195.
  196. Esei shakes their head.
  197.
  198. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk murmurs, "The cold is not that bad..."
  199.
  200. Esei raises an eyebrow questioningly.
  201.
  202. Jolanthe Myeras says to Lief, "I always enjoy a touch of lavender, and so am inclined to sample your mead."
  203.
  204. Swaying, you say, "Oh, am not a fan, but make sure everyone who needs blanket first gets it."
  205.
  206. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "Gurashi: I'm freezing my carapace off."
  207.
  208. Lief pours a sample from a porcelain bottle coloured by a mountain sunrise into a tarnished silver cup, her antlered head bobbing eagerly.
  209.
  210. Esei tilts their head and listens intently to you.
  211.
  212. Jolanthe claps her hands together merrily.
  213.
  214. With the clipped vowels of an Estelbarian accent, Facet Crian says to Lief, "I would not object to some mead."
  215.
  216. Small insects flit about in a gentle cloud, their serene humming lending a murmuring cadence.
  217.
  218. Elexia smiles brightly at Lief, one of her hands reaching to the storm glass amulet about her neck. She fiddles with the bowl of its chalice as she watches the crowd, then her eyes light up with joy upon seeing Tazryn. "Sister!" she cries in jubilee as she waves a merry greeting from her perch on the stage.
  219.
  220. Esei shakes their head at Llani.

  226.
  227. Lief jerks slightly as the air fills with sparkling motes of bright light.
  228.

  234.
  235. Llani promptly hands the cookie back.
  236.
  237. Tazryn Myeras, Sower of the Last Seed says, "I'm so glad to be here, and so sorry to have you fretting before your performances."
  238. Tazryn blushes furiously.
  239.
  240. Busy Bee Llani Myeras, Springtime Portent says to Esei, "You've sent so many things from afar, the cookies are the least I can do!"
  241.
  242. You have emoted: Gurashi glances about once more, chittering softly to himself. Bizirik returns from its noisy cookie escapade and sits beside the kephera with a snort.
  243.
  244. Esei narrows their eyes at Llani in an unnerving manner.
  245.
  246. Esei gives a plump bumblebee cookie to you.
  247.
  248. Crian inclines their head in consideration. "Huh! I tend to enjoy dry drinks, so let's try the juniper berry one. That sounds lovely."
  249.
  250. Jolanthe Myeras says to Tazryn, "Oh? Hmm. I don't believe we've met."
  251.
  252. Leaning in and whispering loudly, you say to Esei, "Eat the cookie."
  253.
  254. With a nod of greeting, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says, "Good morning, everyone. I trust we are not late?"
  255.
  256. You give a plump bumblebee cookie to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk.
  257.
  258. Jolanthe Myeras says, "Oh, no, we're still settling in."
  259.
  260. Lief pours juniper berry mead from a porcelain bottle coloured by a mountain sunrise into a tarnished silver cup.
  261.
  262. Whispering loudly, you say to Esei, "...what! They are good."
  263.
  264. Esei stares implacably at you.
  265.
  266. Esei begins to wield a plump bumblebee cookie in their left hand.
  267.
  268. Esei hurls a plump bumblebee cookie northeast.
  269.
  270. Inclining his head in greetings, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Have no fear, the show can go on now."
  271.
  272. With a bow of her antlered head, accompanied by a beaming smile, Lief gives a tarnished silver cup to Facet Crian.
  273.
  274. Elexia grins mischievously at Uzriel.
  275.
  276. You have emoted: Gurashi throws his arms into the air, giving Esei a pointed look.
  277.
  278. Llani leaves to the northeast.
  279.
  280. Esei smirks at you.
  281.
  282. You have emoted: Gurashi clasps his hands on either side of his head, still staring at Esei.
  283.
  284. Dipping her head gratefully, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Uzriel, "I am glad to see you were able to make it!"
  285.
  286. A plump bumblebee cookie comes lofting in, from the northeast, to Esei, who catches it nimbly.
  287.
  288. Sapphira glances from face to face in silence, hands clasped neatly at the small of her back.
  289.
  290. Llani arrives from the northeast.
  291.
  292. You blink.
  293.
  294. You suddenly let loose a chittering laugh.
  295.
  296. The corners of Jolanthe's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
  297.
  298. Esei lets out a soft sigh.
  299.
  300. Lief giggles happily.
  301.
  302. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Do the thing! Is -safe- promise."
  303.
  304. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Also desserts are -good-."
  305.

  311.
  312. Llani giggles happily.
  313.
  314. Esei raises an eyebrow at you.
  315.
  316. (Idyllic Expressions): You say, "Gurashi: BEHAVE."
  317. (The Shadow Kindred): Esei says, "Battle of wills lol."
  318.
  319. Lief's eyes scan the crowds before she finds Uzriel. Her face lights up, and she flashes him a beaming, familiar smile. "Hello!"
  320.
  321. Crian accepts the cup from Lief, lifting it up to take in a deep breath of wafting scent. They draw their eyes shut as glints of green and yellow shimmer in their crystalline form. "What a lovely aroma!"
  322.
  323. You have emoted: Gurashi's mandibles click twice in protest before he resumes idly looking about the gathering as more and more faces appear.
  324.
  325. Elexia flashes Udilya a knowing look and a nod towards the stage's backdrop. Quietly, the two leave the busy, mingling crowd to ready themselves.
  326.
  327. Aruokei gives a short gasp of elation.
  328.
  329. Lief's ear twitches, and she flits about, flashing Crian a beaming smile as well. "I'm so glad you think so! That's my very newest recipe."
  330.
  331. Udilya leaves, following Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon.
  332. Elexia steps in through the scrim from the stage.
  333.
  334. You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
  335.
  336. Esei twitches awkwardly, taking in their own appearance before turning their gaze to you, brow raised in silent question.
  337.
  338. Jolanthe Myeras says, "Ah, everyone's been so much more productive than me of late. Nice to see the fruits."
  339.
  340. Bizirik, the leothin snorts, already on the hunt for more cookies.
  341.
  342. <-- lmfao Timequake
  343.
  344. Jolanthe Myeras says, "Naturally that would happen."
  345.
  346. Slipping it over, Lief gives a pink, floral-patterned picnic blanket to you.
  347.
  348. You blink.
  349.
  350. Faintly buzzing, you ask Lief, "Ah - now what is this?"
  351.
  352. Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to you, "A blanket!"
  353.
  354. Lief's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
  355.
  356. Faintly buzzing, you exclaim, "Oh! Many thank yous!"
  357.
  358. A dark platform lies before the audience. There is a buzzing through the night as a swarm of Moonflame fireflies descend upon the backdrop of the waiting stage. They cluster in clumps at the top, alternating their effulgent white glows. Then, one-by-one, these clumps begin to fall together in a dazzling mimicry of falling snow. As each clump collides with the platform below, the fireflies disperse and scurry along the ground and off the stage, only to reappear together in their clump at the top to repeat the process yet again.
  359.
  360. A pair of small, shadowy figures flit down from above and perch atop the stage. They sit for a few moments as the firefly snow falls, before jumping as one from its height. A pair of shrouded wings spreads out from each as they slowly hover downward.
  361.
  362. As their feet alight against the deck the ground erupts in a spray of silvery motes to reveal Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon and Udilya. They stand proud and tall, or at least as tall as the diminutive faelings can muster.
  363.
  364. Eleana inclines her head politely to those around her.
  365.
  366. Running her bow across the violin's strings slowly, Elexia crafts a somber melody. The heavy notes drift out across the theatre as she sings, "It came upon an Estar day, winter's frigid grasp tight..."
  367. Udilya follows Elexia's lead, crafting deep tones with her viola as she sways gently in time with the music.
  368.
  369. Lief motions for others to take a seat, her eyes bright and excited.
  370. Her countenance darkening, Elexia sings, "Furrikin and daughter, ignorant of its nearing might!"
  371.
  372. Aruokei settles to the ground in a cross-legged position, inhaling deeply. As she brings her hands up to rest open-palmed at either side, she exhales, all tension leaving her body.
  373.
  374. The stage flickers as a massive winged shadow consumes the backdrop. Then, in almost an instant, it's gone.
  375.
  376. Her bare feet skipping across the stage, Elexia meanders leisurely as she sings, "Skipping blindly along they went, up from proud Estelbar..."
  377.
  378. Her own feet leaping along to join Elexia, Udilya leans forward to look out at the audience. She squints, her eyes darting about the theatre as she chimes, "Searching mountains, both high and low, for sheep that strayed too far!"
  379.
  380. Her slow music reaching a crescendo of gravitas, Elexia plants her feet firmly against the stage as she belts out, "Namei Silvertail, eyes like gold, stuck to her father's side." At the words, a golden glow suffuses the backdrop for but a moment. "The girl of twirl eager yet still, to bring family pride."
  381.
  382. Drawing her bow across her viola more quickly now, Udilya shifts the severe tone into a cheerier, hopeful sound as she sings, "Though wind was harsh, and snow piled high, their spirits did not fall!"
  383.
  384. You have emoted: Gurashi gasps, quickly settling at the edge of one of the many available benches, quickly removing his hat.
  385.
  386. Punctuating the line, a clump of moonflame fireflies plummets from above towards the little faeling. Without so much as looking up, Udilya twirls to the right as the 'snowball' crashes against the stage and scatters.
  387.
  388. Tazryn leans forward, listening intently.
  389.
  390. Laughing lightly at her narrow escape, Udilya continues her song, "For one by one each sheep was found, heeding their master's call."
  391.
  392. Elexia draws her bow across the violin in a sharp, shrill motion as her countenance darkens. Her violet eyes burning, she sings, "But the snowy day was upset, by piercing heartless cry! As every critter fled for life, from wings which filled the sky!" Nodding to Udilya, Elexia begins a rapid, intense melody on her violin.
  393.
  394. Segmented wings unfurl around Llani and flap at a ferocious speed, eliciting a monotonous buzzing sound.
  395.
  396. "A roc!" Udilya interjects in dismay as Elexia continues to sing, "The father cried in shock. His hands reached for his salt! The packet sprinkled all around, its shield to cease assault..." The two faelings shrink back to the center of the stage until they are back-to-back. A shimmering translucent orb springs up about them as they stand tense and ready.
  397.
  398. Huddled behind the shimmering bubble, Elexia sings, "But whatever spawned so strong a beast must have been twisted stock, for thrice the size of others its kind, this was no simple roc!"
  399.
  400. Esei quietly stands steadfast behind you, shoulders tense.
  401.
  402. Her voice trembling in fear, Udilya sings, "Pestilence clung to wings so wide! Its eyes burned bright with flame! Both scales and feathers covered flesh, its talons, set to maim!"
  403.
  404. The faelings shrink back together, their bows flying in unison to craft a desperate theme. The heart-pounding music causes the clusters of moonflame fireflies above to flicker and vibrate erratically.
  405.
  406. Forceful and grave, Elexia sings, "Another roar came through the air, a scream to chill the soul! Before the vile beast winged down, its claws as black as coal!"
  407.
  408. Udilya flinches from something unseen as she cries, "With but one slice did they dispel the shield of shining light!" At her words, cruel gashes cut through the shimmering orb surrounding the two faelings. Elexia picks up the song, singing, "The monster soared to skies above, its eyes a hateful blight!"
  409.
  410. You have emoted: Gurashi scoots in a bit on his spot on the bench, tugging Esei's sleeve to sit beside him.
  411.
  412. You stare implacably at Esei.
  413.
  414. Lief draws a soft, embroidered patchwork memory blanket around her shoulders, huddling into it as she watches a vine-entwined stage.
  415.
  416. Esei stares implacably at you.
  417.
  418. Cowering no more, Elexia assumes a battle-ready posture as she sings, "It wheeled about to dive once more, as father drew his blade! He bid his child to 'go, find help!' Then he bowed his head and prayed." As a warrior might before their death, she bows her head in solemn prayer.
  419.
  420. Bizirik, the leothin stares implacably at Esei.
  421.
  422. Esei raises an eyebrow at you.
  423.
  424. Llani stares implacably at Esei.
  425.
  426. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Sit down!"
  427.
  428. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Are blocking the view! Can sit next to me and Bizi."
  429.
  430. Standing tall with Elexia, Udilya sings, "The young Silvertail stood in shock, until he shoved her back. She fled beneath a stony ledge as roc renewed attack!"
  431.
  432. Crian floats slightly above a bench, legs crossed as they watch and sip their drink.
  433.
  434. As one, the two faelings wheel about to face the audience once more. Together, they lift up their voices to sing in lamentation, "Though courage of a father scorned, in shepherd's veins flowed fierce..." An inevitable mournfulness stains their twin visages. "The twisted beast would never cease 'till prey its talons pierced."
  435.
  436. Esei lets out a soft sigh.
  437.
  438. With unnerving suddeness, the two faelings' bows grow still. With no other sound than their voice, they sing, "In one swift swoop it dove again, its claws to catch brave 'kin. As shepherd fell to roc's malice, she swore she saw a grin." In a wicked flash of red, a ghoulish sneer flares onto the backdrop behind them.
  439.
  440. The heads of a blood-streaked sable hydra with hissing wings of tenebrous black flame look about in several directions, forked tongues flicking out to taste the air.
  441.
  442. Returning her bow to viola, Udilya begins a despondent tune as she sings, "'No!' wept the child as beast bore down, but it was far too late. Her father lay in its cruel grasp, its power just too great."
  443. Esei practically perches on the bench, staring at you with narrowed eyes.
  444.
  445. Following with Udilya's somber melody, Elexia sings, "Namei crept from beneath her ledge as roc took to the skies. The furrikin's face filled with grief as tears brimmed in her eyes."
  446.
  447. Udilya casts her eyes to the wooden stage beneath her as she laments in a quivering voice, "Her eyes fell glumly to the ground as sobbing, she returned." At once, her voice changes. It grows hard, spiteful, "But deep beneath her tears and grief, a growing hatred burned."
  448.
  449. You have emoted: Gurashi gives one firm nod before resuming watching the play with rapt attention.
  450.
  451. Her voice mocking and haughty, Elexia sings, "The roc, so smug! In his nest high, could never have foretold!"
  452.
  453. A grin springs to Elexia's lips as she glares at the heavens. "His ghastly deeds on snowy day, had birthed a hunter bold!" she cries as the melody begins to trail off, and then finally end.
  454.
  455. A twilight blue curtain falls over the stage, shrouding the musicians and signaling the end of the play's first act.
  456.
  457. As the curtain rises for the play's second act, it reveals a charming little farmtown. In spite of the pleasant atmosphere, the musicians upon the stage appear distraught.
  458.
  459. You think to yourself: This is so weird.
  460.
  461. You think to yourself: There are soooo many peoples here, wowee.
  462.
  463. A foreboding melody emanates from Elexia's violin as she stands drawn up to her full height. Her butterfly wings, a mixture of purple and red, are spread to their fullest. "As years passed by the little town, its people lived in fear," she says as the dreadful notes soar through the air. "For in the mountains high above, the roc took more each year."
  464.
  465. You think to yourself: ...think most of these peoples have killed me one or ten times...
  466.
  467. The soft voice of Llani tickles your ear, "I don't know if she's ever eaten one of my cookies!"
  468.
  469. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Busy Bee Llani Myeras, Springtime Portent, "That is too bad!"
  470.
  471. Elexia sings, "Brave hunters strong took up their arms, its hidden lair to seek..." The faeling shakes her head at such folly. "But those poor few who found its home were rent by monstrous beak!"
  472.
  473. Dusan, the coruscant warily slips out of the protection of Esei's daytime shadow, sniffing at the various gathered. He stares at Lief intently, before slinking to hide in her shadow, leaving Esei to stare at him.
  474.
  475. Lief's eyes rove the stage's new scenery, her eyes bright with interest as she huddles beneath a soft, embroidered patchwork memory blanket with a tarnished silver cup.
  476.
  477. Shrinking back as she plays, Elexia sings, "Any shadow from high above made village children cry..." Then, a perplexed look comes to her face as she watches Udilya stride forward.
  478.
  479. Her posture radiating confidence Udilya sings, "All 'cept one little soul so strange, who always scanned the sky: Namei Silvertail, eyes aflame. No longer cowed by woe..." Udilya takes control of the melody once again, wrenching it from the depths of despair and crafting a hopeful tune. "Began to train from morn to night with sword and shield and bow!"
  480.
  481. A shadow sweeps across the stage as night consumes the backdrop. The sun drifts away, overtaken by an argent moon. In but a few moments, however, the sun returns on the horizon as the days pass by with speed.
  482.
  483. Udilya's melody is quick and courageous as she sings, "Whilst other lasses tended plants, and critters on the farm, this girl studied her forms all day to master every arm!"
  484.
  485. Shaking her head in confusion even as her violin joins the bright pace of the viola, Elexia sings, ""'Not right!' they said about the girl. 'She's stricken mad with grief!' But whispers from all around her could not shake her belief.""
  486.
  487. A sense of warm serenity settles upon the surroundings as Daraius strides in from the northeast.
  488.
  489. Her viola ceding to Elexia's violin as she brandishes both instrument and bow towards the crowd, Udilya sings, "'I will be the one,' she had vowed, 'to silence its vile cries! And I will be the one,' she knew, 'to bring peace to the skies!'"
  490.
  491. Lief flashes Daraius a quick smile from where she sits, huddled under a soft, embroidered patchwork memory blanket with a cup of mead in her hands.
  492.
  493. Udilya uses her bow to send a series of jabs towards the audience as she sings, "Seasons passed and the girl grew strong, now eighteen years of age. And not a day from father's death" A furious vigor overtakes her expression, "-Had cooled her vi'lent rage!"
  494.
  495. Dusan, the coruscant's ears perk up as his attention turns towards Daraius.
  496.
  497. You chitter at Lief with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  498.
  499. Udilya uses her bow to send a series of jabs towards the audience as she sings, "Seasons passed and the girl grew strong, now eighteen years of age. And not a day from father's death" A furious vigor overtakes her expression, "-Had cooled her vi'lent rage!"
  500.
  501. Crian glints a shade of warming, welcoming scarlet and orange as they nod towards Daraius.
  502.
  503. Elexia steps forward to interject as Udilya's viola begins its upbeat tune. She raises her eyebrows at the audience as she sings, "But there was one more task to do, before her hunt, a test!"
  504.
  505. Slipping it over quietly, Lief gives a golden macaron cookie to you.
  506.
  507. At that moment, the unmistakable fiery form of the Portal of Fate explodes onto the stage. It towers over the backdrop of the village and casts its light over the twin faelings.
  508.
  509. Basking in the Portal's radiance, Elexia sings, "For it was the Portal of Fate which would bring out her best."
  510.
  511. You have emoted: Gurashi gasps softly.
  512.
  513. Elexia twirls about, cavorting in the fiery glow as she sings, "All heroes passed through that strange gate, though some lost all but name!" Behind her, the Portal releases a gout of fire. "It readied mortals for greatness, their hearts a fi'ery flame!"
  514.
  515. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Many thank yous."
  516.
  517. The faelings walk in a circle together, spinning around as they do so, until coming to a stop side-by-side as they sing now in unison. "And so Namei would venture forth, to risk all that she had!" The silhouette of a person's shadow appears before the Portal's churning gate. "To gamble all on Portal's pow'r, all for her fallen dad." The familiar, simple word causes both faelings to bow their heads in woeful memory.
  518.
  519. As the silhouette fades into the Portal's embrace, the faelings sigh as one, lamenting, "But as she stepped into the light, her memory grew dark. Her purpose lost, left behind her..." They cast a glance behind them at the towering gate. "The Portal made its mark."
  520.
  521. Dusan, the coruscant slides to hide within Esei's shadow again, melting into it with only two bright eyes to tell for his presence.
  522.
  523. Once more the curtain consumes all in twilight blue, act two of the performance now complete.
  524.
  525. The curtain rises again, revealing lofty mountain peaks and heralding the start of the third act.
  526.
  527. A wistful look fills Elexia's violet eyes as she plays a somber, wintry melody that recalls the earlier song. Swaying stately with the beat, she chimes, "It was upon an Estar day that a Serenguard strode." As she sings, she begins to march in place in a militant fashion, "By rocky crags of mountains high, her boots on snowy road."
  528.
  529. Pulling up beside Elexia to join her stately march, Udilya sings, "Namei, surname lost, even to her. Now, a woman of war! Dressed head-to-toe in Wodewose garb, this was a girl no more."
  530.
  531. Elexia continues her precise march as she dutifully sings, "She journeyed forth due to reports of pilgrims lost in snow, but as she searched for trav'lers lost..." At once, both faelings grow still. Two pairs of pointed ears twitch as the two turn stage left in unison. "She heard a cry of woe." Together, the violin and viola give off an unsettling screech.
  532.
  533. Her violin's pace now urgent, Elexia looks to the audience as anxiety washes over her visage. "'Brother, brother!' wailed a child small. A furrikin, in pain! Namei came to the young girl's side, to see a dreadful stain..."
  534.
  535. A crimson glow bathes the stage as Udilya's voice rises to join Elexia's. "A crimson fluid marked the snow where brother had once stood. The girl claimed he'd been carried off, she feared him gone for good..." The sanguine light paints the playful moonflame fireflies in a painful, disturbing way. As the red glow leaves, an unsettling air remains.
  536.
  537. Udilya's face softens as her viola's rapid notes return to a more solemn, quiet song. "A roc?' Namei asked, bow now drawn," she sings as she taps her foot in time. "But the girl shook her head."
  538.
  539. Interjecting, Elexia sings, ""'A monster!" cried the little lass, her voice filled with sheer dread.""
  540.
  541. Her posture slouching slightly, Udilya's mournful tune continues its heavy pace as she sings, "Namei returned the girl to home, in little Estelbar. A pilgrim helped her to her house." She straightens as she adds, "Namei remained afar."
  542.
  543. Her hair and robes flapping as another gust from a wind enchantment blasts by, Elexia raises her eyes to the heavens above as she sings, "As she climbed up mountains once more, this lost brother to seek. Something stirred deep within her thoughts!" Her eyes lower. "A memory, but weak..." The faeling's voice trails off hesitantly.
  544.
  545. Even her melody seeming uncertain now, Elexia sings, "Just what had the girl really seen? What prey was she to track?"
  546.
  547. Udilya shakes her head defiantly as conviction burns in her eyes. "Either way, if demon or roc, she'd bring its foul head back!" she cries with a resolute nod.
  548.
  549. You think to yourself: This play is well made... Miss Elexia is a good singer!
  550.
  551. "Her search was fruitless 'till at dusk," Elexia sings. Without warning, she runs her bow across the violin roughly to produce a guttural sound as she continues, "There came a grisly shriek! From mountain at Basin's edge, atop a frigid peak." As the melody continues, the solemn sadness is gone. The pace begins to quicken, yearning in anticipation.
  552.
  553. The faelings raise their voices high together as they sing, "The fey call sent her to her knees, a storm emerged within!" Each as one bow to one knee, their heads turning aside as if shaken. "As visions of forgotten past had sent tears down her chin."
  554.
  555. Elexia is first to rise. She does so swiftly, her countenance firm. She plants a bold foot forward against the stage as she sings, "At once, she knew just what she faced, what monster lay beyond..." Udilya is next to rise, stamping her opposite foot beside Elexia's as she cries, "And she would show that awful beast just what its hate had spawned!"
  556.
  557. Lief's fingers tighten imperceptibly about a tarnished silver cup as she watches a vine-entwined stage.
  558.
  559. Esei narrows their eyes to thin slits.
  560.
  562.
  563. Viola and violin reach a crescendo as faeling voices cry out in unison, "'I am Silvertail, now reborn!' She vowed as she climbed high!" A shower of silver erupts from the floor. "She took her bow in steady hands. Justice, at last, was nigh!" The faelings hop two steps apart to either side as they strike an imposing stance.
  564.
  565. Your mandibles twitch slightly as you voice a brief, curious chirr.
  566.
  567. For a moment, the twilight curtains falls. There is the sound of hurried shuffling as the blood-boiling music, uninterrupted, echoes from behind the shroud. Then, the curtain rises, with more speed than before. Instead of the open mountain range, the stage now has the appearance of a dank cavern.
  568.
  569. Her violin's tone growing lower into an unsettling melody, not unlike a heartbeat, Elexia taps her feet against the deck. "The full moon hung high in the sky when she came to the nest," she sings, her words pregnant with expectation. "Tucked just beyond the Basin's edge, she found it caught in rest."
  570.
  571. Face curled into a grimace, Udilya sings, "It was as hideous as before, but had grown larger still. A mess of feathers, scales, and claws, engorged on a fresh kill."
  572.
  573. Her face contorted in anger, Elexia sings, "The cavern rumbled with the snore of such as massive beast. Namei prepared an arrow, quick, and with a snarl, released!"
  574.
  575. Udilya's bow flies across her viola at a furious, battle-ready rate as the notes flood throughout the theatre. The tense anxiety of a brawl permeates her posture and her voice as she sings, "The arrow sailed through moonlit cave, and struck beast in its side. Black blood oozed from oily feathers, its screams rang Basin-wide!"
  576.
  577. Sapphira shifts her weight from foot to foot.
  578.
  579. Esei glances askance at you.
  580.
  581. In a brief flash, the sanguine glow returns. It consumes the stage, washing the musicians in scarlet.
  582.
  583. Elexia's fingers fly as her bow briskly strikes the strings, the faeling's foot tapping now accompanied by nimble swaying from side-to-side as she chimes, "With a lurch it sprang from its sleep, coal eyes finding Namei!" She bares a toothy grin to the crowd. "Another arrow flew from her. The hunter now was prey."
  584.
  585. You have emoted: Gurashi remains fixated on the stage, his expression unreadable. Beside him, Bizirik chitters happily, poking at the cookie in Gurashi's hand.
  586.
  587. Udilya sings, "She showered arrows at the beast, as from its nest it stormed! Its mighty wingspan extended, its open beak malformed."
  588. Tazryn folds her hands in her lap, watching the stage with rapt attention.
  589.
  590. There is the twang of bows from behind the stage as arrocs arc over the backdrop from behind. Their heads made of harmless cloth, the arrows clatter against the stage behind the musicians.
  591.
  592. Elexia leaps to the side lightly as she sings, "Quick as a deer, Namei dove right, as groggy roc rushed past. It struck a wall of blackened stone, Namei was just too fast!"
  593.
  594. Desperation growing in her voice, Elexia sings, "It wheeled about and tried again with both beak and foul claw. But every try met only air, its size its fatal flaw!"
  595.
  596. Her gossamer wings fluttering, Udilya hovers about a foot above the stage as she twists and weaves through the air, locked in battle with some invisible foe. "The serenguard shouted tribal chants," she calls out, "As she slipped through each blow. And after every duck and weave, returned with her swift bow!"
  597.
  598. Elexia looks up at the darting Udilya with malice as she cries out, "The mighty roc attempted flight, so frustrated by this!" The faeling hops into the air and flaps her sunset wings, but plummets back to the stage below in failure. "But with arrows filling its wings, it managed but a hiss!" The last word is full of venom as Elexia spits it out.
  599.
  600. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Miss Elexia - had no idea she had such lovely singing voice!"
  601.
  602. Lief tells you, "She has been spiritsinging for far, far longer than me - she is *wonderful* at it."
  603.
  604. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Am amazed! Other persons is good singer too yes."
  605.
  606. Lief tells you, "Udilya...I had no idea about Udilya. She really is doing very, very well. I'm so proud of her!"
  607.
  608. Esei gently touches Ebon Prayer Beads of the Silent Lord.
  609.
  610. You think to yourself: Esei...
  611.
  612. Ixion hisses sibilantly into the corner of your mind, "Happy birthday."
  613.
  614. You blink.
  615.
  616. You see the following people here:
  617. Llani, Jolanthe, Crian, Pysynne, Aruokei, Uzriel, Daraius, Sapphira, Tazryn, Esei, Lief, Eol, Kailanna, Kharan, Eleana, Gurashi.
  618.
  619. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Kalas Ixion, the Devouring Blade, "Oh - many thank yous!!"
  620.
  621. Landing to stand beside Elexia, Udilya sings, "The night grew long as the two fought, the beast's will now waning. Each small strike slowly adding up, the roc was left straining."
  622.
  623. Elexia draws her foot in a sharp crescent upon the deck as she cries, "Then one blow from beast found its mark, a slash with its sharp beak," Her violin wavers dramatically as she continues, "Namei tumbled to the cold floor as it charged with a shriek!"
  624.
  625. Elexia crouches low before springing rightwards into the air. Her wings shine in the argent light of the stage as she spins thrice, her form horizontal, before landing on her feet. Her dire music is uninterrupted as she cries, "The Wodewose dropped her brow for spear as she lay on the floor!"
  626.
  627. Imitating Elexia's flip, Udilya hops leftwards into the air with a spin of her own. Her bow attacks the viola's strings with frantic fervor as she lands and sings, "She brought her weapon to the sky, as roc upon her bore!"
  628.
  629. The little faelings tap their feet in time together for a moment. Viola and violin strings weave a desperate, thrilling melody as they fix an inteprid stare at the audience. The argent light of the backdrop's moon flashes brilliantly upon them as they together they lift up their voices to sing, "The monster, so blinded by rage, did not spy the spear."
  630.
  631. Elexia darts forward and to the left at a sharp diagonal, her bare feet leaving a trail of red sparks which dance and flicker atop the deck. "It pierced it to its cold black heart!" she sings as crimson light floods the stage for but a second. Following, Udilya sprints forward and to the right, her own fiery trail marking a cross with Elexia's as her lips open with tribal jubilee, "Its eyes now wild with fear!" Another flash of scarlet suffuses the faelings.
  632.
  633. You have emoted: Gurashi glances only for a moment at Esei again, antennae twitching in curiosity before returning to look at the stage.
  634.
  635. Tazryn bites her lip hard and keeps watching the stage.
  636.
  637. Falling to her knees as her violin's crescendo begins to fall, Elexia sings, "The roc stumbled back, and then fell."
  638.
  639. Stamping her feet in a stumble as she too falls to a knee, Udilya sings, "The ground gave a most frightful quake!"
  640.
  641. Together the faelings rise, their bows growing softer, quieter, slower.
  642.
  643. Elexia sings, "Namei quickly got to her feet, ready should the beast wake."
  644.
  645. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Are O-K?"
  646.
  647. Esei tells you, "...I don't know." A soft silence. "Perhaps."
  648.
  649. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Has anyone said anything mean to??"
  650.
  651. Udilya's body relaxes as relief floods her features. Her melody, once caught in the heights of the hunt, is now placid and calm. "But it was still, her quest complete," she sings, "Her father now avenged." As if the fact just dawned on her, a beaming smile comes over her exhausted visage. "No more would die at roc's cruel claws, the skies, at last, were cleansed!"
  652.
  653. Lief tugs a soft, embroidered patchwork memory blanket over her shoulder as it begins to droop, otherwise spellbound by a vine-entwined stage.
  654.
  655. Running her bow across the violin with slow, measured strokes, there is sadness in Elexia's features. It remains even as the anxiety of the life-or-death struggles leaves. "For a time Seren ranted wild, tears streaming down her face," the faeling sings, "As she cursed corpse for deeds of past, her mind still locked in haze."
  656.
  657. Elexia's eyes fall as she slumps in weariness. Even her wings droop with fatigue. "Her torrent of rage soon ran dry, exhaustion setting in," she sings, "As she picked through nest's remains, she found body of 'kin." She raises her sorrow-tinged eyes.
  658.
  659. Her voice soft, sad, Udilya sings, "This brother was a man she knew, a friend from long ago. She took his body gingerly... The girl had right to know."
  660.
  661. In spite of their victory, the faelings hang their head in despair. The curtain slowly descends this time to wrap the stage in its dark cloth. When it rises, the faelings stand amidst the sleepy town once more.
  662.
  663. Elexia begins to sway gently to the quiet melody of her violin as she chimes, "The journey home took until dawn, Estelbar just awake. She bore the body through the streets as farmers gawked and gaped."
  664. Esei tells you, "No. Not yet, at least. Merely... nervous. We are far from home."
  665.
  666. Udilya casts a furtive glance to either side as she sings, "Whispers spread throughout the small town. Could this really be her?" She raises an eyebrow as she directs her gaze to the audience. "A warrior, strong, unafraid, war paint on her fox fur."
  667.
  668. Drawing herself up, Udilya sings, "'I killed the roc,' Namei announced as she neared the child's house. The little girl saw her afar, tears stained her woolen blouse."
  669.
  670. Elexia slumps in despair as she hides her face, crying out, "'What will I do?' the girl now wailed as she buried face in hands." Elexia snaps her head forward and brings herself up to her full height, wings extended as she continues, "Namei gave the girl an embrace, then made a soft demand."

As they come to stand side-by-side, they pivot on their heels to face the audience as they sing, "'Be strong,' she said to weeping girl. 'Let not his mem'ry die.' Their song, though wistful and tinged with sorrow, holds an undercurrent of hope. "'Arm yourself, grow mightier still,' At that, she said goodbye."
  683.
  684. Together, the faelings begin to step backwards as the orange tones of the setting sun suffuse the stage. "She did not linger in the town," they sing, "It was no more her home. Her quest complete, father avenged, the 'Wilde she would roam." With that, the faelings bow as one. As the bronze light fades, darkness covers the stage.

  820.
  821. With a nod of agreement, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Kailanna, "It was, in truth, the inspiration for the tale! We all know what it is like to journey through the Portal, all of us Portal-touched, and lose something in return."
  822.
  823. Esei tilts their head curiously at Bizirik, the leothin and offers a soft "Hmm?" in her direction.

  863.
  864. Elexia accepts the flower from Kharan with a grateful nod. "Thank you, my friend," she chirps to Kharan in a pleased manner. She flashes Sapphira a grin reminiscient of a pixie's. "Oh, only the good, I assure you!"
  865.
  866. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon, "Do not worry, is nothing scary - is a flower! She made it!"

  869.

  873.
  874. Gesturing to Sapphira, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Indeed, this is my protege, one of Magnagora's rising debutantes."
  875.
  876. You nod your head emphatically.
  877.
  878. Esei purses their lips, deep in thought.
  879.
  880. Sapphira absently tucks a wayward lock of hair behind one ear as she inclines her head at the introduction. "A pleasure to meet you, to be sure."
  881.
  882. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk murmurs, "Not simply a flower, might I add."
  883.
  884. Esei nods their head at you.
  885.
  886. You have emoted: Gurashi holds out a flower, already held together with a corsage-style pin. "Yes! Was going to be 'all proper and -suave-' and pin on your..." he pats his shoulder.
  887.
  888. You chitter at Elexia with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  889.

  891.

  895.

  905.
  906. Elexia hesitates before you, a pensive expression crossing her face as she stares at the corsage for a few moments. Then, she dips her head as she chimes, "I am honoured to accept."
  907.
  908. You beam broadly at Elexia.
  909.
  910. Lief's faeling ears twitch intently as she shifts a soft, embroidered patchwork memory blanket from her shoulders, allowing it to fall to the ground, and she flits nearer to Sapphira. "A pleasure," she smiles. "I'm Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, another singer of the Serenwilde."
  911.
  912. Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to Sapphira, "I've been most eager to meet you."
  913.
  914. Daraius quietly excuses himself, giving a small gesture of gratitude to Lief, Elexia, and Udilya as he departs.
  915.
  916. Carefully pinning the unusual flower to her lapel, you give a midnight black rose wrapped in spider silk to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon.
  917.

  935.
  936. Bizirik, the leothin stalks with little strides after Esei, staying withing their shadow almost teasingly.
  937.
  938. Elexia considers the rose thoughtfully, lifting her shoulder and bending her head to take a whiff of its fragrance. She puzzles at it for a time, reaching up a finger to gently caress a sable petal. "It's lovely," she says quietly, though there is unease in her voice.
  939.
  940. Softly, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says, "It is."
  941.
  942. "I'd be most curious to pick your mind about your goals," Lief says earnestly to Sapphira with a clap of her hands.
  943.
  944. You tilt your head curiously.
  945.
  946. Glancing towards the pinned flower, if there is any suspicion his mask is hiding it, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Many deadly things are beautiful, yes."
  947.
  948. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon, "She did not say to give to you specifically. Just to the Woods in general, Miss Elexia. Picked you because are supposed to give flowers to performers!"
  949.
  950. You have emoted: Gurashi bobs his head in Elexia's direction, chittering softly.
  951.
  952. Esei nods, a dreamy expression briefly crossing their face.
  953.
  954. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon, "Have another flower for Udilya but is not from Lady of Roses, is just a rose of roses."
  955.
  956. Midnight shadows coalesce around a new day, and Mother Night embraces the land in utter darkness.
  957. It is now the 6th of Urlachmar, 550 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  958. There are 26 days until the New Moon
  959.
  960. Sapphira smiles lightly at Lief, "I would be happy to share though my aesthetic may not be...orthodox. I'd love to learn more of your own music and the like too, you have me at something of a disadvantage I fear."
  961.
  962. Elexia understanding flashes across your face, some of the tension leaving her posture as she exhales and nods.
  963.
  964. Elexia tells you, "Thank you for giving it to me, I am honoured."
  965.
  966. You beam broadly at Elexia.

  973.
  974. You have emoted: Gurashi suddenly turns to Udilya, offering a second rose, though this time much less formally. "Were amazing as well! Many thank yous for your hard work!"
  975.
  976. Esei glances over to Lief briefly, before returning their sights to your back, expression stiffening.
  977.
  978. Lief's dragonfly wings bob her in the air as she nods her antlered head toward Sapphira. "The aesthetics of others is of keen interest to me," she confesses, "so if yours are different, so much the better. I will reach out to you sometime for a more proper meeting?"
  979.
  980. Udilya smiles softly at you.
  981.
  982. Crian pauses thoughtfully. "Music, now that's one talent I've yet to cultivate, though it is fascinating to watch. So many of the plays I see have little music within them. This was quite different," they comment, albiet to no-one in particular. The air itself serves as audience to their spoken thought.
  983.
  984. Udilya smiles and says to you, "Thank you very much for coming. that means a lot to us."
  985.
  986. You nod your head at Udilya.

  998.
  999. Lief claps her hands together merrily, then bows her antlered head toward Sapphira with gratitude. "I look forward to it!"
  1000.
1001. Udilya smiles and says to Tazryn, "We must catch up. It has been far too long dear friend."
  1002.
1003. Elexia's pointed ears twitch as she swivels to Crian, her visage brightening. "It's a wonderful art, and been my passion since my mouth!" she calls.
  1004.
1005. Tazryn Myeras, Sower of the Last Seed says to Udilya, "I would quite like that, yes."
  1006.
1007. Tapping her cheek with a finger, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Crian, "I grew up watching similar performances like these in our theatre, my sister Lief put on several phenomenal musical pieces, some of which I had the pleasure of attending in person."
  1008.
1009. Lief's wings carry her in a merry circle about Sapphira and Uzriel both, then she wings nearer to you.
  1010.
1011. Esei narrows their eyes to thin slits.
  1012.
1013. Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon smiles and says to Tazryn, "Thank you so much for coming, dear sister!"
  1014.

  1018.
1019. Hearing her name spoken, Lief's ears twitch, and she beams at Elexia.
1020. Lief bends down to stroke Bizirik, the leothin's head, murmuring, "Hello, you."
  1021.
1022. Bizirik, the leothin chatters happily, evidence of its earlier cookie consumption still smeared in spots near its mouth. It thrums and chirrs happily up at Lief, tail slapping against the ground.
  1023.
1024. Crian smiles towards Elexia. "Interesting! I only had one or two opportunities to see this theater - my folks were kind enough to indulge my curiosities growing up, but we usually brought our goods to Magnagora or Hallifax, rarely the forest." They lower their arms to dangle beside them, hand holding atop the left hip as they consider. Their voice is light and airy, tilted with a distinctive accent most commonly heard amongst furrikin - that of Estelbar.
  1025.
1026. Looking up as she pets Bizirik, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to you, "I am so glad you enjoyed your time here, my friend. I knew my sister was talented, having worked with her before on the stage, but when she plays director and stagewright both..."
  1027.
1028. Lief murmurs a soft, pleased, "Goodness, she is talented."
  1029.
  1030. You flail about helplessly.
  1031.
1032. Esei pauses for a second, a slight frown upon their face.
  1033.
1034. Elexia sways gently to the right and to the left in the air to some internal rhythm as she inquires, "You favour plays over performances in Hallifax, then?" She tilts her head. "I've not seen many plays in my time here, either! What a fascinating cultural difference." She cocks her head inquisitively. "Have you performed in such a play before?" she asks Crian.
  1035.
1036. Faintly buzzing, you say to Lief, "Yeah, what the heck. Is like am horrified did not know."
  1037.
1038. You nod your head sagely at Lief.
  1039.
1040. Lief giggles happily at you.
  1041.
1042. Your eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across your face.
  1043.
1044. Elexia's pointed ear twitches suddenly, catching Lief's words. A splash of crimson suffuses her cheeks as her shoulders rise sheepishly.
  1045.
1046. Sapphira adopts a serene yet friendly demeanour as she silently observes the crowd.
  1047.
1048. Esei quietly, teasingly flicks the back of your head.
  1049.
1050. You have emoted: Gurashi's head bobs forward momentarily, suddenly, surprised. He straightens, glancing over his shoulder at Esei in confusion.
  1051.
1052. You peer at Esei unscrupulously.
  1053.
1054. You have emoted: Gurashi returns to facing Lief, chittering excitedly.
  1055.
1056. Esei shifts their eyes suspiciously from side to side.
  1057.
1058. After one last pat on Bizirik, the leothin's head, Lief retrieves a tarnished silver cup and cradles it between both her hands.
  1059.
1060. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Guess means... play is over - they will probably want us to be going soon."
  1061.
1062. Gazing out among those still here, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says, "Would anyone like a cookie from the Sowers of the Last Seed? Or would anyone like to sample one of our meads?"
  1063.
1064. Suddenly, you say, "O-K, will try one sip of meads."
  1065.
1066. Esei stares implacably at you.
  1067.
1068. Esei stares implacably at Lief.
  1069.
1070. Crian cants their head slightly. "Not at all! There's a lovely opera company and then of course the grand symphonium. My father much preferred plays. He hadn't any ear for music. He could confuse a trumpet and a cello if you showed him both, and let's not start on keys. I don't think he could find one in a Locksmith's shop. Of course he had his own talents. Quite an excellent farmer, indeed. Still is, matter 'a fact." They speak with rapid pace, excitedly chattering as their head tips forward. With a glance towards Lief they pause. "If the offer is still open, I'd love to try a cookie too."
  1071.
  1072. Esei mutters discontentedly.
  1073.
1074. Jolanthe Myeras says, "I will refrain from discrimination, and now sample your other mead."
  1075.
1076. Jolanthe gives a tarnished silver cup to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon.
  1077.
1078. Esei tells you, "I can't believe she's corrupted you with -alcohol-." <--lmfao Gurashi: *pretends not to hear*
  1079.
1080. Lady Sapphira, the Ensanguined Aesthete says to Lief, "I would enjoy sampling something, my Lady."
  1081.
1082. Lief laughs with delight and nods her antlered head eagerly. Setting her own cup down again, she finds her two bottles and arranges them before herself, along with some empty cups.
  1083.
1084. Sapphira's skin gleams with unearthly radiance.
  1085.
1086. Lief pours juniper berry mead from a porcelain bottle coloured by a mountain sunrise into a tarnished silver cup.
  1087.
1088. Uzriel nudges Sapphira's side with a chuckle before turning towards you, "You are from Glomdoring? You are quite hrm. Energetic for one hailing from there, a friend of the Wilde I take it?"
  1089.
1090. Brightly, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon asks Sapphira, "Would you prefer something sweet and floral, or something tart and dry?"
  1091.
1092. Sapphira purses her lips thoughtfully, "I'll try the dry, I think."
1093. Sharply, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says, "Define friends, Geochemist."
  1094.
1095. You tilt your head curiously at Uzriel.
  1096.
1097. You stare implacably at Esei.
  1098.
1099. (The Shadow Kindred): Esei says, "Esei: YOU WANTED ME TO BE SOCIAL."
  1100.
1101. Esei raises an eyebrow at you.
  1102.
1103. In a soft voice Kharan says "I'm sorry, I had to go check on something."
  1104.
1105. Lief nods amicably toward Sapphira, grabbing up the same bottle again before pausing, her gray eyes finding Esei with a furrow of her brow. "Gurashi can speak for himself," she points out.
  1106.
1107. Faintly buzzing, you say to Esei, "...friends means friends, Esei!"
  1108.
1109. The rapid pace of Crian's speech brings a delighted smile to Elexia's face as she listens intently to the tale. "Farming is wonderful trade as well! And so very vital," she chimes with a pleased nod. "Even so, I am grateful my father was able to introduce me to the violin at a young age. He's a musician himself, in fact, skilled with both making instruments and performing with them!" She speaks with pride of her family, drawing herself up and planting her fists on her hips.
  1110.
1111. The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Kailanna's lips as she glances at you.
  1112.
1113. With a wry grin, Moonshaman Eol Ravenfeather dae'Seren says to Kharan, "Worry not, friend."
  1114.
1115. You have emoted: Gurashi gently boops Esei's nose with his smaller right hand's pointer finger.
  1116.
1117. You blink incredulously at Esei.
  1118.
1119. Lief and Esei's exchange draws Elexia's attention, who glances over.
1120. Faintly buzzing, you say to Uzriel, "Ah , and, yes! Am from the Glomdoring."
  1121.
1122. Quaffing deeply of the mead, Jolanthe Myeras says, "I'd say Gurashi is quite capable of making friends with anyone."
  1123.
1124. Lief's eyes linger for another moment on Esei, then returns to her task at hand.
  1125.
1126. Faintly buzzing, you ask Uzriel, "Am Gurashi An'Ryshe. Have seen your face before! Usually, in timequakes, while on fire, or dying, somehow... what's your name?"
  1127.
1128. You chitter at Uzriel with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  1129.
1130. Esei stares at you, looking fairly similar to a soaked cat.
  1131.
1132. Lief pours juniper berry mead from a porcelain bottle coloured by a mountain sunrise into a tarnished silver cup.
  1133.
1134. You chitter at Jolanthe with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  1135.
1136. Faintly buzzing, you say to Jolanthe, "You are too kind."
  1137.
1138. Winging over with a warm smile, Lief gives a tarnished silver cup to Lady Sapphira, the Ensanguined Aesthete.
  1139.
1140. "Gurashi!" Lief interrupts. "What would you prefer?"
  1141.
1142. With an amused smile, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says to Uzriel, "I believe this was the one who passed along the invitation to the Lady Enchantress, which means it must be quite brave." <-- IT. HELLO?? GURASHI MACHO, THE MANLIEST.
  1143.
1144. With a nod, you say to Esei, "Whatever recommend."
  1145.
  1146. Sapphira thanks Lief profusely.
  1147.
1148. Lief flashes Sapphira a joyous smile.
  1149.
1150. Faintly buzzing, you say to Lief, "Er - whatever recommend."
  1151.
1152. Amused, Geochemist Uzriel says, "Well, my mask at least. I'm Geochemist Uzriel i-" he clears his throat before repeating, "Geochemist Uzriel, and yes I seem to recall you from a timequake or two, and the blasted lands I believe.""
  1153.
1154. Esei pats you in a friendly manner.
  1155.
1156. Lief pauses, considering you for a brief moment, then selects the bottle the more fragrant, flowery mead has been pouring from.
  1157.
1158. Deadpan, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says to you, "Easy mistake to make. We're practically identical."
  1159.
1160. Esei gives Lief the once-over, eyeing her suspiciously.
  1161.
1162. Beaming, Lief gives a tarnished silver cup to you.
  1163.
1164. Faintly buzzing, you say to Lief, "Oohhwowee, many thank yous."
  1165.
1166. You give a short gasp of elation.
  1167.
1168. Sapphira glances at you and Uzriel over the rip of her cup as she sips her drink silently, expression for once not betraying her thoughts.
  1169.
1170. Faintly buzzing, you say to Esei, "Oh how flattering."
  1171.
1172. You chitter at Esei with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  1173.
1174. Esei stares implacably at you.
  1175.
1176. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says to you, "...for which one."
  1177.
1178. Jolanthe hides a grin behind her hand.
  1179.
1180. You wink conspiratorially at Esei. <--his second ever successful wink
  1181.
1182. After a tarnished silver cup passes from her hands to you, Lief glances sidelong at Esei. "Do you think so?" she asks them pleasantly.
  1183.
1184. Kharan tugs urgently on Aruokei's sleeve.
  1185.
1186. Rather emphatically nods their head as Elexia continues to talk of family and trade. "But of course," Crian continues with an enthusiastic shade of carnelian lighting their form. "There are few lucidians who take to it, and fewer yet in Estelbar, but it made for quite a unique upbringing. I enjoyed myself quite a bit. Learned a lot of math and ritual growing up, schooled as I were by whatever books I could snag. Farming's fun, but not my life. Too sedentary! So I study the world instead. It's so fascinating!" They talk with a physical emotiveness rare for their species, hands wide and dancing with words. "It's incredible that your father helped you learn such a passion at a young age. I'm glad he has nurtured you so!"
  1187.
1188. Esei stares harder at you before turning dark eyes to Lief.
  1189.
1190. You have emoted: Gurashi's mandibles click against his face as he bows his head, tending to his new drink.
  1191.
1192. You take a long draught of mead, hoping to quench your thirst.
1193. Though many meads are saccharine in their sweetness, this drink
1194. surprises the senses with the pleasantness of lush, floral lavender. Its
1195. pungency is tempered by the gentle, soothing honey carrying these earthy
1196. notes, making this libation remarkably drinkable. Long after you gulp it
1197. down, the aftertaste of lavender's minty undertones remains.
  1198.
1199. You tilt your head curiously.
  1200.
1201. You chitter at Lief with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  1202.
1203. Aruokei gives Kharan a gentle nod as her nose wrinkles up in light disgust.
  1204.
1205. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says, "...it was meant as a joke."
  1206.
1207. Esei raises an eyebrow questioningly.
  1208.
1209. Bizirik, the leothin leans on Esei seeking consolation.
  1210.
1211. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says to you, "And you are?"
  1212.
1213. Given her earlier frowns, Lief's smile for Esei doesn't quite touch her eyes. "Very amusing," she agrees. Her smile turns more genuine as she looks back to you.
  1214.
1215. Elexia flutters over near Lief, dipping her head. "Do you think you could pour some for me, sister?" she requests, glancing between Lief and Esei questioningly. She flashes Crian a smile, though there is tension at its edges. "When did you take the journey to Hallifax, then?" she asks, eyes flitting between Esei and Lief once more.
  1216.
1217. Faintly buzzing, you say to Uzriel, "....am Gurashi An'Ryshe, of Glomdoring."
  1218.
1219. You have emoted: Gurashi offers a hand to Uzriel.
  1220.
1221. (Idyllic Expressions): Lief says, "Hahaha Elexia and Gurashi."
1222. (Idyllic Expressions): Lief says, "Both trying so hard to diffuse between Lief/Esei."
  1223.
1224. Lady Sapphira, the Ensanguined Aesthete says to Lief, "Is this your recipe, perhaps? I rather like this."
  1225.
1226. Bizirik, the leothin yawns, suddenly looking quite bored, and hungry.
  1227.
1228. Uzriel looks down at the offered hand a moment, longer than is probably polite before taking it in a firm handshake.
  1229.
1230. Esei strokes Bizirik, the leothin tenderly.
1231. Bizirik, the leothin stares blankly at Esei. After a moment its tail lifts once then thumps back against the ground with potential delight.
  1232.
1233. Lief flashes Elexia a beaming smile, asking her, "Which would you prefer, sister mine?" To Sapphira, she nods her antlered head brightly. "Both meads are my own recipe - the one in your hands is my most recent brew."
  1234.
1235. Crian lifts up their mead, sipping again from the cup as they continue. "Oh, I saw it often as a child. At twenty-two I left home to head to the city to pick up my studies. It seemed a good age for such. I've been happy there. I get a lot of opportunity! Have you always been from the Serenwilde?" They hold the mead near their nose, sniffing it again as they look at Elexia over the rim. Eyes do glance towards Esei and Lief, albiet with a general quiet curiosity instead of any stress.
  1236.
1237. You have emoted: Gurashi returns the handshake earnestly. "Nice to meet you Mister Geochemist Uzriel. Is Uzriel O-K?"
  1238.
1239. Bizirik, the leothin snorts at Esei.
  1240.
1241. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says, "I prefer just Geochemist actually."
  1242.
1243. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk asks Bizirik, the leothin, "Yes, lady?"
  1244.
1245. Bizirik, the leothin tosses its head and resumes staring.
  1246.
1247. Faintly buzzing, you say to Uzriel, "Oh. O-K. Nice to meet you, Geochemist."
  1248.
1249. Esei raises an eyebrow at Bizirik, the leothin.
  1250.
1251. Faintly buzzing, you ask Uzriel, "Is your name AND your job? Did one come before other?"
  1252.
1253. You tilt your head curiously at Uzriel.
  1254.
1255. Lief blinks suddenly over at Uzriel, a worried frown tugging at her features.
  1256.
1257. Sapphira absently swirls the cup as she gives Lief yet another warm smile. "Well, I am a fan and I have been known to be rather fussy, if that means aught to you."
  1258.
1259. Elexia raises a finger to Lief as she asks, "Oh, could I have some of your juniper mead?" She flashes a warm smile and a nod that is a little too quick as she chirps, "It was really lovely!" She casts a glance back in Crian's direction as she chirps, "I have - I tread the Wood in my youth, and am thankful to have found it again after my own experience with the Portal of Fate."
  1260.
1261. Esei purses their lips, deep in thought as they contemplates Uzriel.
  1262.
1263. Uzriel brings a hand up to tap at his mask thoughtfully, "It's my title. In your forest are people not referred to by their title? For instance the Warlady here, it is polite in Magnagora to call people by their station rather than directly by name."
  1264.
1265. You stare implacably at Uzriel.
  1266.
1267. Sapphira's words shake Lief from her worry, and she is startled into beaming once more. "Goodness, it means quite a lot. Thank you so very much for the compliment!" She busies herself with pouring another cup as she talks, her smile lingering, a lilting hum upon her lips.
  1268.
1269. You have emoted: Gurashi opens his mouth, then closes it, looking embarrassed.
  1270.
1271. Lief pours juniper berry mead from a porcelain bottle coloured by a mountain sunrise into a tarnished silver cup.
  1272.
1273. Faintly buzzing, you mutter, "Ever..... has .itle.. ..s."
  1274.
1275. Rising from her work and winging closer to hand it over, Lief gives a tarnished silver cup to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon.
  1276.
1277. Esei pats you in a friendly manner.
  1278.
1279. Crian lifts the cup once more, this time in toast to Elexia as she requests the same. "Oh, this juniper is fantastic. I enjoy the scents that come from it." The cup is lowered again, held in a dangle between fingers as they continue. "I do not remember much about my experience with the portal, just wandering to Hallifax afterwards."
  1280.
1281. Esei strokes Ebon Prayer Beads of the Silent Lord tenderly.
  1282.
1283. Pleasantly, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to Esei, "Are you certain you'll take nothing to drink? It might unknot your shoulders."
  1284.
1285. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says to Lief, "I am not allowed to drink in public."
  1286.
1287. After some thought, you say to Uzriel, "Have no excuse - prefer names to titles more. Can remember better."
  1288.
  1289. You shrug helplessly.
  1290.
1291. Jolanthe Myeras says, "Ah, and here I thought it was you just couldn't drink in the forest. Perhaps my sources are faulty."
  1292.
1293. Faintly buzzing, you say to Uzriel, "But if your name is Geochemist, then it is Geochemist, Geochemist."
  1294.
1295. Udilya flutters over to Elexia, wrapping her in a tight hug as she whispers quietly in her ear.
  1296.
1297. Swirling one of the bottles of mead, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to Esei, "I'm surprised you care about your appearances here in the Northern Forest, adherent of Silence. None of us will tell." <-- HOW DID I MISS THIS SAVAGE BUUUURN
  1298.
1299. Elexia gratefully accepts the cup from Lief with another bob of her head. She cants her head to Crian as she raises her tarnished silver cup. "It really is a delectable drink, isn't it? My sister has many gifts, brewing among them!" She raises the cup to her lips. "You are still young yet, my friend! Perhaps more of your life before will come to you. Of course, it is what is happening now that is most important, no? We must dance upon the cycles of life, going where they may."
  1300.
1301. Sapphira smiles at Lief, "I have never tried my hand at recipes but I believe I know who to ask for a critique when the time comes."
1302. Inclining her head politely, she moves to stand respectfully near Uzriel.
  1303.
1304. Esei stares implacably at Lief.
  1305.
1306. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "How are holding up."
  1307.
1308. Esei stares implacably at you.
  1309.
1310. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Can leave whenever want."
  1311.
1312. Lief smiles sweetly at Esei, then wings off, flitting nearer to Sapphira.
  1313.
  1314. Esei twitches spasmodically.
  1315.
1316. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Have something that want to tend to."
  1317.
1318. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Is personal thing yes."
  1319.
1320. Jolanthe Myeras says to Lief, "Goodness, you almost sound Gaudiguchian saying that."
  1321.
1322. The corners of Jolanthe's mouth turn up as she grins mischievously.
  1323.
1324. With a slight shrug of one shoulder, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says to you, "It is a simple matter of cultural differences, truly. Magnagora is a city of hierarchy, thus using one's title shows respect, while using their name shows familiarity."
  1325.
1326. Elexia embraces Udilya with great ardour.
  1327.
1328. Esei tilts their head and listens intently to you.
  1329.
1330. You tilt your head curiously at Kailanna.
  1331.
1332. Udilya flashes Elexia a joyous smile.
  1333.
1334. Faintly buzzing, you say to Kailanna, "Can understand that."
  1335.
1336. You nod your head sagely.
  1337.
1338. Bowing her antlered head moments before winging to another guest, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon says to Sapphira, "I am still rather new to the process myself - it would be wonderful to share our ideas and grow, I think."
  1339.
1340. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says, "Tis not just myself that I represent."
  1341.
1342. Squinting and offering his hand, you ask Kailanna, "And see -you- many times too. You are?? Warlady?"
  1343.
1344. Lady Sapphira, the Ensanguined Aesthete says to Lief, "Yes indeed! I have predominantly been working on paintings of late, and am dabbling in some couture for myself but I hope to branch out in many avenues."
  1345.
1346. Uzriel inclines head head towards you in acceptance of your answer.
  1347.
1348. Elexia looks at Lief apprehensively, then at Esei out of the corner of her eye. The anxiety has returned to her features as she raises her cup and announces, "Well it's a lovely foray into brewing, sister! Your talents ever-grow!" just a little too loudly.
  1349.
1350. Esei tilts their head curiously at you.
  1351.
1352. You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
  1353.
1354. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Is about the girl."
  1355.
1356. As they nods slowly in your direction, you realize Esei understands.
  1357.
1358. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "So is very personal O-K so s....hshhhh."
  1359.
1360. Udilya gently tugs at Tazryn's sleeve.
  1361.
1362. Taking the proffered hand in a cold grip, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says to you, "That is how I am currently known, yes. I imagine it will change eventually, but it will do for now."
  1363.
1364. Lief's gray eyes flash as they settle briefly upon Esei, only to shift back to Sapphira. "You paint?" she asks with genuine curiosity. "What has struck you with inspiration thus far?"
  1365.
1366. Jolanthe Myeras looks thoughtful and says, "I do rather like both meads, yes."
  1367.
1368. Shaking her hand firmly, you say to Kailanna, "Hi, am Gurashi An'Ryshe of Glomdoring. I like your angry dog."
  1369.
1370. "Fantastic indeed," Crian responds with a raised cup and a sip of it. "I am sure more of my life will return in time. But until then I have things to learn of, after all. Including how other cultures in the Basin style their theater! I sincerely do appreciate the performance tonight. My own dance brought me somewhere new and lovely, with company to match!" They pause to just grin, an odd expression on their crystalline face, as they hear the comment. "Oh, art! Arts! I do have some skills there. I need to sketch more, and maybe make drawings of them too," they continue, once more in their enthusiastic cant.
  1371.
1372. Uzriel glances askance at Sapphira.
  1373.
1374. You have emoted: Gurashi glances momentarily aside towards Lief.
  1375.
1376. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Miss Lief...??"
  1377.
1378. Lief tells you, "Yes, Gurashi?"
  1379.
1380. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "... I uhm."
  1381.
1382. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "**The voices gets faint, almost fades out, then, buzzing--** Would like to know if think that maybe Miss Duethielle would maybe be up for visitors today."
  1383.
1384. Sapphira waves a hand vaguely, "My first proper painting was for a competition within the city, lauding our divinities and our culture."
  1385.
1386. Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal raises his nose vainly, ears suddenly flicking back at the word 'dog'.
  1387.
1388. You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
  1389.
1390. The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Kailanna's lips as she glances at Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal.
  1391.
1392. Esei's lips twist into a sharp, dangerous smile, dark eyes flashing.
  1393.
1394. You chitter at Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
  1395.
1396. Mandibles clicking, you say to Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal, "You are a beautiful angry dog."
  1397.
1398. Warming to her subject, Lady Sapphira, the Ensanguined Aesthete says to Lief, "But I am fascinated in finding the beauty outside traditional views of symmetry and harmonious colours and the like."
  1399.
1400. Lief bobs in the air, her curiosity lingering upon Sapphira. "A worthy subject," she ventures. "I find my Lady captures me and my inspiration very, very frequently."
  1401.
1402. Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal tilts his head, looking unsure whether he should be flattered or hungry.
  1403.
1404. Uzriel discretely takes a few steps back, just in case.
  1405.
1406. You beam broadly at Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal.
  1407.
1408. Bizirik, the leothin yawns again, almost as if on purpose, dramatically bumping into Esei. <--absolutely did this at the exact same time Esei tried to look cool below LOL
  1409.
1410. Esei tilts their head slightly to one side, beads tinkling and hair susurrusing. Their eyes are dark and lowlidded, black lashes contrasting against their fair skin, as they observe Elexia and Lief.
  1411.
1412. Esei stares implacably at Bizirik, the leothin.
  1413.
1414. (The Shadow Kindred): Esei says, "BIZI."
1415. (The Shadow Kindred): Esei says, "LET ME BE SEXY."
1416. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "LOL."
1417. (The Shadow Kindred): You say, "I'M SORRY."
  1418.
1419. Kailanna pets Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal ingratiatingly.
1420. Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal leans into Kailanna's hand, letting out a low, satisfied rumble.
  1421.
1422. Lief taps her freckled cheek in thought as she contemplates. "To hear you speak of it," she says to Sapphira, "it somewhat similar to the song of the Voice of Jagrerox - how it ended, anyway. I recently had the pleasure of hearing His music."
  1423.
1424. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says to Sapphira, "Have you had the opportunity to hear His song yet?"
  1425.
1426. Elexia's pointed ears perk at the Voice is mentioned. "I was given the opportunity to do the same, recently," she says as she turns to Sapphira. "His performance is really remarkable."
  1427.
1428. Sapphira smiles, a hand caressing the strings of her lute. Turning her gaze towards Uzriel she shakes her head, "While I am honoured to enjoy a measure of His gifts, I have not yet had the pleasure."
  1429.
1430. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says to Sapphira, "I had hoped you would be aware to hear it last month, we will have to fix that soon."
  1431.
1432. You have emoted: Gurashi looks over to Bizirik, the leothin, mandibles clicking as he falls quiet. The leothin swivels its head around and promptly stalks up to its kepheran companion, sitting down with a dramatic 'whumph'
  1433.
1434. Bizirik, the leothin stares implacably at you.
  1435.
1436. "And I think we'd love to invite the both of you to hear our own Untamed Muse sing," Lief offers brightly.
  1437.
1438. Elexia flashes Uzriel a smile and dip of her head. "It is through him that I had the pleasure," she chimes to Sapphira.
  1439.
  1440. You blink.
  1441.
1442. Elexia beams broadly at Lief.
  1443.
1444. Esei gently smacks the top of your head. <--I'm the worst, I missed this too!!
  1445.
1446. You tilt your head curiously at Lief.
  1447.
1448. Sapphira gives a brief shake of her head once more then shrugs one shoulder. "All in good time I am sure."
  1449.
1450. A tiny ball of light swirls in from the northeast, spinning through the air in a broad arc.
1451. Whirling through the air for a moment, Little Lleucu abruptly stops and laughs blithely, "Of course, of course, disappear I will! Apologies!"
  1452.
1453. Lief tells you, "Oh! Oh, I can certainly ask."
  1454.
1455. You have emoted: Gurashi glances again at Lief, nodding slightly.
  1456.
1457. Crian tips their head at the talk of Voices and songs. "I've read and heard a bit about the Voice of Crys, but I am so terribly lost when it comes to all this music."
  1458.
1459. Esei pauses for a second, a slight frown upon their face.
  1460.
1461. Lief's ears perk up as her attention turns towards Crian.
  1462.
1463. Kailanna raises an eyebrow at Esei.
  1464.
1465. Sapphira smiles wryly at Uzriel.
  1466.
1467. Esei tilts their head curiously at Kailanna.
  1468.
1469. Whispering loudly as he offers a hand, you ask Sapphira, "HI. Hello. Gurashi An'Ryshe. How are ?"
  1470.
1471. Winging nearer, intently curious, Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon asks Crian, "Is Hallifax able to communicate on any level with the Voice of Crys, do you know?"
  1472.
1473. Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk asks Kailanna, "Yes, Warlady?"
  1474.
1475. Sapphira glances at the proferred hand a moment before lightly taking it in her own and shaking before withdrawing it. "I am well, thank you." She pauses, then adds, "I am Sapphira."
  1476.
1477. With a vague gesture, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says to Esei, "Oh, simply curious about the smacking."
  1478.
1479. Esei stares implacably at Kailanna.
  1480.
1481. Doubtfully, Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk says to Kailanna, "...smacking."
  1482.
1483. You think to yourself: Please oh please oh please.
  1484.
1485. You think to yourself: Oh please oh please.
  1486.
1487. Crian pauses to consider Lief's question. Their complexion radiates in rapidly shifting blues, greens, and purples. A confused expression sits upon their face before they respond. "I am afraid I just do not know. I know that any can hear some about the Voice up in Clarramore, but if the Voice can be spoken with, I am unsure. I believe it fled during the dissolution of the guilds, and do not know if it returned."
  1488.
1489. Your mandibles twitch slightly as you voice a brief, curious chirr.
  1490.
1491. Esei pats you in a friendly manner.
  1492.
1493. You have emoted: Gurashi glances towards Esei, shrugging his shoulders.
  1494.
1495. Esei tells you, "I may have to step away, back to our own Wyrden wood. I... staying here too long makes me feel unwell."
  1496.
1497. You have emoted: Gurashi brushes some snow from the brim of his hat, nodding.
  1498.
1499. Elexia plants her hands on her hips and tilts her head to Crian. "In the Serenwilde, we've had much the same tall with the fall of the Spiritsingers," she says. "But there is a way to restore the Voice of Trialante, at least for a time! Perhaps there is some way to do the same for the Voice of Crys."
  1500.
1501. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Many thank yous for coming with."
  1502.
1503. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Will stay."
  1504.
1505. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Still have a thing to do, O-K?"
  1506.
1507. You pat Esei in a friendly manner.
  1508.
1509. Esei nods solemnly to you.
  1510.
1511. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Do not worry!"
  1512.
1513. Elexia flashes Jolanthe a joyous smile.
  1514.
1515. Jolanthe Myeras says, "Have a lovely afternoon, all."
  1516.
1517. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Am a Harbinger. Is my job to keep peoples safe."
  1518.
1519. With a flourish of her arm, Jolanthe bows deeply.
  1520.
1521. Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Jolanthe, "Thank you for coming, be well!"
  1522.
  1523. Jolanthe waves goodbye.
  1524.
1525. Lief flashes Jolanthe a warm smile. "Thank you so much for joining us, Jo."
  1526.
1527. Esei smiles wryly at you.
  1528.
1529. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "So will keep you safe on these crazy outings."
  1530.
1531. Uzriel inclines his head politely to Jolanthe.
  1532.
1533. You smile softly at Esei.
  1534.
1535. Esei leans on you seeking consolation.
  1536.
1537. Pensively, Esei gives a blackthorn bouquet origami to you.
  1538.
1539. You have emoted: Gurashi chitters softly at Esei, taking the origami and reaching out to squeeze the elfen's shoulders.
  1540.
1541. Glancing down at her watch with a sigh before snapping it closed once more, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says, "And I believe I must take my leave as well. We have a sermon happening soon back in the city, best that I not miss it."
  1542.
1543. Lief glances briefly toward Uzriel, offering a quick, apologetic bow of her antlered head, then returns her attention to Crian and Elexia. To Crian in particular, she offers, "The next time I know we're about to summon the Voice of Trialante, I'll speak up over our alliance's aether. Her song is really quite beautiful."
  1544.
1545. Crian tips their head slightly before nodding at Elexia. "Fantastic! I sincerely hope there is something of the sort then. Perhaps I'll poke around and look for information on it from those that might know."
  1546.
1547. You begin to whisper a haunting melody as a myriad of glittering shadows begin to coalesce about your form. You slowly place your hand upon Esei's heart, testing its rhythm.
  1548.
1549. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "Are always connected to the Shadowbeats."
  1550.
1551. Crian nods again at Lief. "Please! I would quite enjoy that."
  1552.
1553. Voice muffled by his mask, Geochemist Uzriel says to Sapphira, "Ahh we should attend to that as well. You are coming I take it?"
  1554.
1555. Esei reaches out to you and offers their hand, leading you in a moment of supplication to the guiding Spirits and signs of the Wyrd. You share Their embrace with Esei as the melody, scents, sights and sounds of the Wyrd suffuse you in the bounty of the Dark Heart.
  1556.
1557. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Seer Esei of the Ascending Dusk, "So are always connected to home wherever you go."
  1558.
1559. You chirp happily at Esei.
  1560.
1561. You wave goodbye at Esei.
  1562.
1563. Esei tells you, "And you to the rest of the Hallowed, friend of mine."
  1564.
1565. Raising a finger as she bobs in the air, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Crian, "If you do find out, please do let us know! I would love to learn more of Their Song."
  1566.
1567. Esei gazes over the crowd one last time, before touching the the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree to their right palm and disappearing.
  1568.
1569. Lief bows her antlered head toward Kailanna, beaming. "I'm so very glad you could join us, Warlady! Thank you for your presence here!"
  1570.
1571. Esei runs their fingers across the surface of the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree and takes a calming breath, preparing for the journey ahead.
  1572.
1573. You shuffle your feet uneasily.
  1574.
1575. Lief flashes you a joyous smile.
  1576.
1577. With a nod, Warlady Kailanna n'Kylbar, Matriarch of Jackals says to Lief, "Certainly, it is ever a pleasure. I thank you for the invitation."
  1578.
1579. You have emoted: Gurashi returns Lief's cheerful smile with a nervous one.
  1580.
1581. With the clipped vowels of an Estelbarian accent, Facet Crian says to Elexia, "Of course! If you are not familiar with Clarramore, I would encourage you to look at the swans there as well. You can find an old journal that speaks of the Voice. At least, I believe it to be such."
  1582.
1583. Kailanna inclines her head politely to those around her.
  1584.
1585. Elexia's attention is drawn by the shadowy display between you and Esei. A slight frown comes to her lips for just a moment, though she says nothing. Her eyes widen slightly and she returns the smile to her face. "Aye, thank you Warlady!" she bows to Kailanna deeply and respectfully.
  1586.
1587. Kailanna nods her head at Elexia.
  1588.
1589. You think to yourself: Are just like any other peoples... am not surprised.
  1590.
1591. Kailanna inserts the Iron Key to the Infernal Machine into the air and turns. The sound of grinding gears and squealing wheels reverberates through the air, as an enormous iron doorway materializes around the key. Black oily smoke leaks out of the doorway as Kailanna opens it and steps through.
1592. Rakkan, the Crowned Jackal stalks out to the ether, pointed muzzle raised haughtily.
  1593.
1594. Sapphira gives herself a little shake. "Oh, yes, of course."
  1595.
1596. With a chipper nod, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Crian, "I shall have to wing my way there in time, then!"
  1597.
1598. Sapphira offers a smile to her hosts at large and dips a brief curtsey. "It has been an honour, thank you for allowing me to attend."
  1599.
1600. You see the following people here:
1601. Tazryn, Uzriel, Lief, Crian, Elexia, Sapphira, Eol, Gurashi.
  1602.
1603. You have emoted: Gurashi glances about briefly to those still gathered, drumming his fingers on his lute.
  1604.
1605. Quickly nodding in return, Facet Crian says, "I think I may have copied the journal somewhere in my writings too, perhaps I can find that and show you at some point."
  1606.
1607. Elexia flashes Sapphira a warm smile and dips her head. "We are grateful you could make it, thank you!" she chimes.
  1608.
1609. Lief claps her hands together and bows her antlered head. "It was a pleasure to finally meet you, Sapphira."
  1610.
1611. Elexia beams broadly at Crian.
  1612.
1613. Crian gazes at Sapphira as their body suddenly lights up with a cheerful, citrine yellow glow.
  1614.
1615. With the clipped vowels of an Estelbarian accent, Facet Crian says, "A pleasure to have met outside of battle. Do watch out for chickens!"
  1616.
1617. Lief tells you, "As soon as Uzriel has left, I'll head over!"
  1618.
1619. Sapphira smiles wryly at Crian.
  1620.
1621. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "O-O-K! And, will wait...right here."
  1622.
  1623. <-- Uzri leaves
  1624.
1625. Lief tells you, "Ah, there he goes!"
  1626.
1627. Lief wings closer to Elexia, whispering something for her ear alone.
  1628.
1629. You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
  1630.
1631. You have emoted: Gurashi pretends to closely investigate his teacup.
1632. You have recovered balance on all limbs.
  1633.
1634. Lief draws back with a beaming smile for Elexia. Without warning, she flits off into the forest.
  1635.
1636. Lief leaves to the northeast, emanating an aura of immense power.
  1637.
1638. Moonshaman Eol Ravenfeather dae'Seren smiles broadly and says to Elexia, "A wonderful performance, my friend. Truly."
  1639.
1640. Elexia smiles in Lief's direction as she takes off, nodding in apparent satisfaction of something. She is in the middle of raising her cup to her lips as Eol speaks, and she returns Eol's words with a beam. "My thanks, dear friend! I am overjoyed to have finally been able to present it," she quips in reply as she takes a sip of the mead.
  1641.
1642. You stare implacably at a tarnished silver cup.
  1643.
1644. You take a long draught of mead, hoping to quench your thirst.
1645. Though many meads are saccharine in their sweetness, this drink
1646. surprises the senses with the pleasantness of lush, floral lavender. Its
1647. pungency is tempered by the gentle, soothing honey carrying these earthy
1648. notes, making this libation remarkably drinkable. Long after you gulp it
1649. down, the aftertaste of lavender's minty undertones remains.
  1650.
1651. With a rueful smile, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Eol, "It's been far too long in coming, since I first dreamt this ballad's performance so many years ago."
  1652.
  1653. Eol beams broadly.
  1654.
1655. Bizirik, the leothin yawns dramatically, circling closely around Gurashi as it snuffles the ground.
  1656.
1657. You think to yourself: She probably isn't there.
  1658.
1659. Clasping her hands in front of her as she sways in the air, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says, "And now, that it is finished... I believe I am ready for the training we spoke of."
  1660.
1661. You think to yourself: They have been busy.
  1662.
1663. Elexia smiles softly at Eol.
  1664.
1665. You think to yourself: ...also she is married.
  1666.
1667. Your eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across your face.
  1668.
1669. You think to yourself: No! Do not think about that.
  1670.
1671. You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
  1672.
1673. Twirling the chain of his Flame dae'Seren with a grin, Moonshaman Eol Ravenfeather dae'Seren says to Elexia, "As we all well know, the fruits of ones labors can be even five times the work you thought it was when you set out to do it."
  1674.
1675. You have emoted: Gurashi begins to slowly pace without quite realizing it, tailed closely by his leothin.
  1676.
1677. Lief tells you, "I think she might be daydreaming...I will wait here a little bit longer."
  1678.
1679. Her pointed ears twitching as she notices the pacing, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to you, "Is something amiss?"
  1680.
1681. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Awanydd Lief Myeras-Silvermoon, "Ah... it is O-K."
  1682.
1683. Faintly buzzing, you say to Elexia, "Oh, what?"
  1684.
1685. Faintly buzzing, you say to Elexia, "No! Of course not."
  1686.
  1687. You blush furiously.
  1688.
1689. Faintly buzzing, you say to Elexia, "Is great mead yes."
  1690.
1691. You drain the last dregs of mead from a tarnished silver cup.
  1692.
  1693. You clear your throat.
  1694.
1695. Bemusement crosses Elexia's face, then a sudden smile as her eyes light up. "Oh, I see, I see..." she says with two quick nods. "Of course, yes, great mead."
  1696.
1697. A mischevious look fills Elexia's violet eyes as her lips turn up in a pixie's grin.
  1698.
1699. You shuffle your feet uneasily.
  1700.
1701. You peer at Elexia unscrupulously.
  1702.
1703. You have emoted: Gurashi stares off into the distance, drumming his fingers now on his cup.
  1704.
1705. Elexia wings by you, whispering something quietly.
  1706.
1707. Elexia tells you, "I am sure she will meet with you soon!"
  1708.
1709. Eol looks at Gurashi with a small smile, adding, "I hope you have enjoyed your visit to the First Forest, southern cousin."
  1710.
1711. Lief dances down a moonbeam and alights gently on the ground.
  1712.
1713. You tilt your head curiously at Eol.
  1714.
1715. Elexia flutters away, flying in a circle about the wood before stopping to hover near Tazryn.
  1716.
1717. Crian chuckles quietly, glimmering pink with amusement as they stand there. "Ah, I suppose I should leave family to family, mentor to student, and myself to my own tasks. Do take care, all. It was a pleasure to meet and chat this day!"
  1718.
1719. You have emoted: Gurashi offers a hand to Eol. "Hello - many thank yous."
  1720.
1721. Elexia beams broadly at Crian.
  1722.
1723. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon, "**Quietly, sheepishly** Many thank yous~."
  1724.
1725. Clasping her hands together and bowing formally, Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Crian, "I am grateful you came to see the performance, and I am happy to have been able to speak with you as well!"
  1726.
1727. Oracular Elexia Myeras-Silvermoon says to Crian, "Safe travels to your mountain home!"
  1728.
1729. Lief flashes Crian a beaming smile. "I'm so very glad you could join us. Thank you for attending, and do let us know if you manage to work out a way to contact the Voice which inspires Hallifax's bards!"
  1730.
1731. Elexia nods her head in agreement.
  1732.
1733. With a rush towards Lief, Facet Crian says, "Oh! And this belongs to you. Thank you for the delicious libation. I'll be sure to let you know if I figure anything out there."
  1734.
1735. Eol returns the handshake while looking into as many of your multifaceted eyes as he can in a single glance, saying, "A pleasure to meet you. I am Eol Ravenfeather, of the Serenwilde."
  1736.
1737. Lief beams broadly at Crian.
  1738.
1739. With the clipped vowels of an Estelbarian accent, Facet Crian says to Elexia, "Thank you! I'll be jutting about for a little bit. I have a little creature to train."
  1740.
1741. Faintly buzzing, you say to Eol, "Gurashi An'Ryshe, of the Glomdoring. Hello~."
  1742.
1743. Whirling through the air for a moment, Little Lleucu abruptly stops and laughs blithely, "Of course, of course, disappear I will! Apologies!"
  1744.
1745. Elexia's mouth turns up as her face breaks into a smile.
  1746.
1747. You think to yourself: Ah.
  1748.
1749. You think to yourself: She is not waking...
  1750.
1751. You have emoted: Gurashi glances at Lief, nodding gratefully.
  1752.
1753. Lief wings closer to you, murmuring near your side, "I have reminded her that she should always feel free to reach out to me - or to you directly - if she's ever struck with a desire to meet. But you know how she is."
  1754.
1755. You have emoted: Gurashi lays his smaller right hand on Lief's arm, nodding in understanding.
  1756.
