- That night you dream. A strange dream, from outside your own body as if watching a play.
- The scene opens in a fog laden land, the darkened silhouette of a church house standing in the background not far from view. Through the fog can be seen the headstones of a small graveyard, fenced off from the world shrouded in mist. There, Bräk stands with his back to Thalia, who is kneeling before one of the headstones in prayer. She stands, finishing with the gesture of her church, and walks toward her long time friend. She places her hand on his shoulder, and he turns to face her.
- Something is wrong though. Where Bräk's eyes once sat is a hallow and empty dark void. He opens his mouth to speak, but the words coming from him are a deep feminine voice. It echoes in your skull, so loud it almost rouses you from your slumber for but a moment.
- "Free me. Make me whole."
- Thalia's hammer begins to glow, a holy light in defiance to the dark thing before her. She wears a stern expression on her face neither her friends nor herself would recognize of the typically meek girl. She raises the hammer over her head with one arm, her muscles tensing ready to strike.
- "You can do it." The voice that leaves Talia's lips are that of an aged and stalwart man. "You can end it."
- "Free me. Make me whole. See." Bräk stares past his friend as he speaks in the same strange haunting voice that seems to be everywhere at once and nowhere at the same time.
- Thalia swings her hammer. You awaken.
