  1. Unfortunately, your request to update name servers on "64squar.es" has been declined by the respective Registry. Please find below reasons this might have happened:
  2.
  3. 1) incorrect name server list given
  4. 2) non-authoritative name servers
  5.
  6. To correct your configuration, please follow these guidelines:
  7.
  8. 1. The domain name must list at least two servers.
  9. 2. The servers IP addresses must be static and correspond to those actually associated with them,
  10. 3. The first name server must be the same as indicated in the Server of Authority (SOA) record of the domain name.
  11. 4. A CNAME must not be associated with the domain name.
  12. 5. The name of the name server specified in the SOA cannot be a CNAME.
  13. 6. At least one MX or A record must exist for the domain name.
  14. 7. Where an MX record is listed, it must not have an associated CNAME.
  15. 8. Whenever interrogated, the servers must not give the following responses: not responding, not reachable, not running,
  16. non-existent domain, host not found, server failure, query failed.
  17. 9. Indicated name servers must be authoritative for the domain name.
  18. 10. Name servers submitted much match the ones indicated in the zone file.
  19.
  20. Please make these corrections and re-submit your name server update.
  21.
  22. Alternatively, you can use our name servers and use 'DNS Forwarding' to point traffic to your web (www) and mail (mx) servers. This action can also be initiated from the login area. You will need the IP address for your web and mail servers.
  23.
  24. If you do not understand any of this, please contact your web/email hosting provider and ask them to follow up with these changes.
