he's even putting me above his job and classes tbh even though he, imo, shouldn't
he took an hour off of work while i was having a breakdown and he was texting me through like 2 of his classes back to back

and he's voluntarily submitting to very unreasonable things that I almost hate myself for asking and he told me he wouldn't drink again unless he was physically with me.
Like I genuinely feel loved by him and it's.. it's a new feeling. I've never felt like this before.
But I'm still really hurt by all of it and taking the first few steps is really hard.

The first few steps are always the hardest,but they're the most important. If you're not 100% sure you're ready to give him another shot, take a break.

From what I'm hearing, it really sounds like he's legit.
If he truly feels that way though, he'll understand if you need more time before you can talk again
If he can't understand, then he doesn't truly feel the way he says he does.
