- >You are in an enourmous field, stretching for miles, and completely covered in a blanket of snow. You have been walking for hours, but somehow when you look behind you, you don't see any of your footprints. The cold has made your feet completely numb, and your the tip of your nose has started to turn blue. Digging for shelter is useless, under the half foot of snow is solid dirt, and you can't make even a small dent in it. When you try to pile snow together, it just melts, and snow covers the ground just as quick.
- >You fall to your knees. You've had it. The endless field of snow wins. You bury your face in the snow and wait to freeze to death.
- No.
- >You get up, remembering why you've even tried to get out of this endless maze in the first place.
- >Twilight was waiting for you, and she gets worried when you are gone for too long.
- >You brush the snow off, and try to think of a way out. You can't walk your way out in time before freezing, and you can't make a shelter. Your footprints just disappear as if you're walking in place-
- That's it.
- >You turn around and start walking backwards. Sure enough, you can finally see your footprints leaving you in a long line, and you actually feel like you are making progress. You figure as long as you don't turn around, everything will be fine.
- >Soon the landscape starts to change. The giant field starts to have little bushes and trees, until it is finally a giant forest. The pine trees offer great protection against the little snow, and you see dirt for the first time in hours. You feel like you can finally face forward. The temperature finally rose up to a more comfortable level, and you slowly start to gain the feeling back into your feet.
- >After another hour of walking, you finally reach the clearing that you were looking for, and sure enough, there she is.
- >Twilight, dressed in a purple tank top and shorts, with matching hiking boots, smiles and runs over to you. You both embrace, and hold it for a while. Finally, you raise your head, and put your lips to hers. You both stay that way for a good 10 seconds, and break the kiss.
- You don't know how long I wanted to do that Twi.
- Twi: I've wanted to do the same ever since you stayed over.
- >You both smile. Twilight finally is the one to break the hug.
- Twi: What took you so long anyways? I was starting to get worried again..
- I'm sorry Twi, I just ran into a little.. problem.
- Twi: What kind of problem?
- Let's just say, I got lost.
- Twi: Oh, ok! Do you want to start on our hike?
- Let's do it.
- >You are finally with Twilight, holding hands with her as you both walk down the beautiful trail of the Everfree forest, holding hands the whole way down.
- Twi: Aanon?
- Yeah Twi?
- Twi: I love you.
- I love you too Twi.
- >You both pull each other closer as you walk.
- >Suddenly, you start to feel very hot. You start to become sweaty and you find it hard to breathe.
- Twi: Aanon?! Are you ok?
- >You drop to your knees and begin to gasp for air. It was starting to get unbearably hot. Your vision starts to get fuzzy, and your grip with Twilight starts to slip. You try your best to hold on, but your grip isn't strong enough anymore. You lose your hold on her hand, and your sight fades to black..
- >You wake up, automatically taking in a giant breath. Twilight is standing at the side of the bed, still in her cute pajamas, with her hands on your shoulders.
- Twi: Oh, thank celestia, I thought you were dying!
- What *huff* happened?
- Twi: I don't know. You seemed fine, until you rolled over onto your pillow. I guess you couldn't breathe. You started freaking out, and I ran over to flip you back over.
- >You remember your dream, and try to hold in your feelings. It doesn't help that her face is only a foot away, she's in her revealing nightwear, and she has both hands on you.
- Hey Twi?
- Twi: Yes Aanon?
- You can let go now.
- >She had started to move her hands downward..
- Twi: Oh, right. Sorry!
- >She lets go, and you automatically wish you hadn't said that.
- >Suddenly, you remember your job. You had to be at the Apple Orchards by 11.
- What time is it?
- Twi: It's almost 10.
- >You breathe a sigh of relief. You didn't want to miss today, the harvest was almost over. You didn't want Applejack to finish without you.
- Hey Twi, I got to go to Rarity's now. Do you want to come with me?
- Twi: Of course! I mean, sure, why not?
- >You are walking with Twilight to Rarity's house. The crowds of people that used to follow you and ask you questions have finally got bored with you, and mostly left you alone. The walk to Rarity's was quick and uneventful. Twilight reaches the door first and knocks.
- Knock knock knock knock.
- knock.
- Twi: Why did you knock?
- To make it even.
- Twi: Make what even?
- The number of knocks.
- Twi: But that makes it five..
- It's kind of complicated.
- Twi: Why does it matter?
- Why do you care?
- Rarity: Uh, guys?
- >Rarity was standing in the doorway, staring at both of you two.
- Hey Rarity! I was just wondering if you were done with those clothes.
- Rarity: Oh yes, of course darling! I've been waiting for you to come by.
- >Wow. She really did finish them in a day.
- Rarity: Come in darling, come in!
- >She leads you and Twilight inside the boutique and goes to the back room. She returns with a box.
- Rarity: There you are darling! I did the best I could to create your jeans! I must say, I wish more ponies would have your taste in fashion!
- >Fashion? You didn't really even spend much time in picking your clothes out. They were even from Walmart™. You didn't even know what your jacket said.
- Rarity: You go try these on! There is a dressing room down the hall. I'll keep Twilight company.
- >You go where she pointed, and you go into an empty room. There was no mirror.
- Damn it.
- >Meanwhile, Rarity and Twilight start talking.
- Rarity: So Aanon is living with you, correct?
- Twi: Yeah, he needed a place to stay.
- Rarity: And you just let him in?
- Twi: Well yeah..
- Rarity: Didn't it feel strange to have him in your house?
- Twi: At first it did, but now it feels completely normal.
- Rarity: Is he sleeping with you?
- Twi: What.. no! Of course not!
- Rarity: Oh, ok. Are you just letting him sleep on your couch then? I mean, it sure would be weird to have him in your guest bed, right Twi?
- Twi: Ha! Yeah it would..
- Rarity: *gasp* He is sleeping in your guest bed! You must tell me more! Do you guys do anything romantic? Are you going out?
- Twi: No!
- Rarity: Do you like him?
- Twi: Well, I do sort of..
- Rarity: Omygosh, does he know? Does he like you too?
- Twi: That's the problem. Everytime I try to drop hints, he seems to push me away. I've even wore those pajamas you made for me..
- Rarity: And what did he do?!
- Twi: He just turned away from me..
- >Twilight started to tear up. She had never felt this way towards anyp0ny before. All she wanted was to know how he felt..
- Twi: I'm just going to leave. Tell Aanon that I felt sick or something..
- Rarity: Oh darling, you poor thing.
- >Twilight runs out the door just as you come out.
- Where did Twilight go?
- Rarity: She, uh, went home. She wasn't feeling good..
- Wait? Is she ok? What happened?
- Rarity: She's fine, just had a stomach ache..
- Oh. So how do I look?
- Rarity: You look absolutely dashing darling! Here's a mirror, see for yourself.
- >You look into the mirror that she pointed out. You had on extremely comfortable blue jeans, A red t-shirt with amazing graphics on the front, A jacket was just like yours, but with no rips or tears, and socks that felt like they weren't even there, right under your shoes.
- Rarity: So what do you think?
- Rarity, this is awesome.
- Rarity: Why thank you Aanon! And there is more in that box of yours.
- So, how much do I owe you?
- Rarity: Oh, the pleasure is all mine Aanon! You don't have to pay me a single bit.
- Well, I have to give you something.
- >You take out some of your bits.
- At least for the cost of the clothing you used.
- Rarity: It's fine, really Aanon!
- No, I insist.
- Rarity: It's ok, I don't need it.
- Rarity, just take the money.
- Rarity: But you barely have any yourself..
- It won't matter when I leave-
- Rarity: Leave? Where in Equestria are you leaving?
- Well, I have to go back home..
- Rarity: Where's your home? It can't be that far. Bits are good anywhere in Equestria.
- That's the thing, I'm not from here.
- Rarity: Well, I know that.
- Yeah, but.. *sigh* I might as well tell you..
- >You explain your situation.
- Rarity: *gasp* so you're not even.. from here.
- Yeah, I know.
- Rarity: But how are you going to get back?
- Well, Twilight said-
- Rarity: Twilight's sending you back?! That poor pony..
- Why is that bad?
- Rarity: Hm? No, of course it's not bad..
- Ok then. I sure will miss this place though.
- >You walk out of the door with your things.
- >You didn't notice, but Rarity was fighting back on telling you something..
- >You've been at the Apple Orchards all day, helping Applejack with the Applebuck season. You both had just finished bucking the last tree, and you were putting the last bucket of apples away. You had been thinking hard the whole time you had worked. Applejack had noticed the whole time.
- Applejack: Hey Aanon, What's the matter partner?
- Oh, it's nothing.. Ok, it's Twilight.
- Applejack: What happened to you two?
- Heck, I might as well start from the begining.
- >Once again, You tell your story to yet another pony.
- Applejack: Well, I shoulda known you weren't from Equestria! Just lookin at yer teeth made me wonder if you were a dragon er somethin..
- But that's not all. Twilight said that she could have me leave within a week.
- Applejack: Really then? Well I'm sure gonna miss you Aanon.
- That's the thing. I'm not sure if I really want to leave..
- Applejack: Well why wouldn't you want to go home?
- I'm not sure if I could leave Twilight..
- Applejack: Aha! I knew you two were datin!
- That's the problem Applejack. I don't know if she even likes me that way.
- Applejack: Well shucks Aanon, that's the easy part! You just have to ask her!
- I can't just-
- >Wait, why can't you just do that?
- You're right Applejack! But I can't just do that..
- Applejack: Well why not Aanon?
- I just can't. But I know when I can.
- Applejack: How's that?
- I have an idea. There is no way I could say that to Twi, but I bet I could right before she sends me back. That way, I don't have to feel like my heart has been pounded to dust for three or so days.
- Applejack: Well ok then Aanon, it sounds like you have a plan! Anyway, here's your bits for finishin the harvest. I'll see you later, ok Aanon?
- Sounds good to me. Bye Applejack!
- >You start to head back to Twilights house. It is now official, you love Twilight more than anyone or anyp0ny you have ever met. You just wish you knew if she felt the same way..
- >You decide to take a detour and take a different path that isn't on the main walkway. Soon, you stumble across what looks like a very busy bakery.
- >Your stomache grumbles, demanding food. You've had a couple of apples when you were taking a break, but that was just to get you through work. You decide to look around and see what they have that isn't sweet, since you don't like eating large amounts of sweet things. You walk inside and wait in line.
- >You begin to wonder again.
- >What should I do if Twilight really does feel the same way? Should I stay? If I stay, what about my family? I still love them, but I can't leave Twilight. What to do?
- Girl:Hi there! Can I help you? Wow! I've never seen you before! Areyounewintown? MynamesPinkie! What'syourname? WhereareyoustayingomygoshthisissoexcitingIneedtothrowaparty!!
- >You are so drowned in your thoughts that you didn't hear a single word she said. You were still having a staring contest with the floor. The girl at the front counter suddenly was staring at the floor with you. She had the poofiest hairdo that reminded you of cotton candy, and she was wearing almost all pink.
- Pinkie: What are you staring at? Is there a spider?! EEEK! There's a spider isn't there?!
- >You finally look up, and see Pinkie on top of the counter, afraid of a nonexistent spider.
- What? No, I'm just thinking..
- Pinkie: How does staring at a spider help you think?
- What? I told you, there is no spider.
- Pinkie: Ooh. That makes more sense I guess!
- Anyway, I was wondering if you sell something that isn't sweet or anything.
- Pinkie: Of course we do! We have bagels and bread and a bunch of other things!
- Can I have a bagel?
- Pinkie: Okie dokie lokie! That'll be 3 bits!
- >You hand over the bits, and Pinkie disappears into the back room. Someone taps you on the shoulder, and you turn around.
- Pinkie: Here you go!
- >You jump.
- How did you do that?
- Pinkie: I just used my hand and tapped your shoulder silly!
- >You're too tired to care.
- Pinkie: So, what's your name? And were are you staying in Ponyville?
- My name's Aanon, and I'm staying with Twilight at the-
- Pinkie: You know Twilight? !
- Yeah, she's letting me stay with her-
- Pinkie: That's super duper! Twilight is one of my best friends!
- >What are the odds.
- Pinkie: Anyway, here you go! One bagle to go!
- Thanks Pinkie.
- Pinkie: I can't wait to throw you a party!
- >You really don't want a party, but you don't have the heart to say no to her.
- Sure Pinkie, that sounds fun.
- Pinkie: Omygosh I can't wait!
- >You decide you better leave the store, and eat your bagel in peace.
- >You find a nice bench to sit on, and take the bagel out. It looked ok, and seemed to be a plain one. You take a bite, surprised at how dense it is.
- Holy crap.
- >It was by far the best bagel you ever had, no questions.
- >You savor the bagel, bite for bite, until you are finished.
- >A little sad, you decide to head back to the library. You continue your walk until you hit the main walkway, and head up to Twilights house. You walk to the door, and open it without knocking, since you pretty much live there.
- >SURPRISE!!
- >You widen your eyes in surprise. Somehow, Pinkie had managed to organize a party with what looks like the whole town, and everyp0ny was in Twilights living room.
- Pinkie: Wellwereyousurprised? Huh? Huh? Wereyou?
- Yeah Pinkie, I was really surprised.
- >She didn't notice, but you were actually holding back a heart attack. You don't know how this p0ny did it, but you aren't going to question it.
- Where's Twilight?
- Pinkie: Oh yea! She's up in her room! She told me to say something to you. What was it again? Hmmm.. Oh yea! She said "Make sure Aanon doesn't bother me. I want to be left alone."
- Wait, what? Why?
- Pinkie: I don't know, but she made me pinkie promise not to have you bother her! So I'm sticking to you like glue tonight!
- Oh my god Pinkie! Is that pony over there having a bad time? I think he's frowning!
- Pinkie: Omygoshyou'reright! I'll be right back!
- >She zooms over to the pony, who obviously was just tired of dancing, and it buys you just enough time to run upstairs.
- >Why would Twilight want you to leave her alone? You don't think that you did anything wrong. You might not have made your bed, but you don't think that she would freak out that much. You reach the door to her room. You are about to knock, but here a sound coming from the other side.
- >Twilight was crying.
- >You never heard her cry, but just listening to her made you want to run in and hug her, telling her everything is all right. You actually have to restrain yourself from doing this. You hear another voice inside. It sounded like Rarity's voice.
- Rarity: Oh, there there darling, it's ok.
- Twi: No, it's not! I don't know what to do Rarity.. I feel like he's just playing with me, but why would he do that? Can't he see how I feel about him?
- >It feels like you were just hit in the chest with a sledgehammer. They were talking about you. Well maybe she's not..
- Rarity: Maybe Aanon just isn't the right one for you..
- >Shit. Wait, she likes you? That's great! That's not a bad thing.
- >You feel like a giant weight was lifted off your shoulders.
- >Yes! She likes me! I should have known..
- >How are you going to tell Twi though? Should you just walk in there and say it? Or would they think you don't really mean it, and you're just trying to make her feel better..
- Pinkie: Aanon? Aaaanooon..
- >Oh crap, Pinkie probably knows you're upstairs. You have to do something, and quick. You can't have Twilight come out and see you spying..
- Pinkie: Aanon, did you come up here?
- >You hear Pinkie coming up the stairs. You only have a few precious seconds left..
- >You see an open window.
- >Jackpot.
- >Pinkie comes running up the stairs.
- Pinkie: Aha! I knew you were.. Oh. I thought I heard him up here..
- >Twilight and Rarity come out of the room, both confused at what was happening.
- Rarity: What is it Pinkie? Can't you see we're busy?!
- Pinkie: Omygosh Twi! What's wrong?
- Twi: N-nothing. I-it's about A-a
- >She starts crying again.
- Pinkie: Who, Aanon? Oh yeah, I was looking for him! Have you seen him?
- Twi: You don't know where he is?! I thought I told you to keep an eye on him!!
- Pinkie: I'm sorry Twi, but he ran off somewhere, and I can't find him.
- Twi: Go find him Pinkie!
- Pinkie: Okay Twi!
- >Pinkie runs back down the stairs, and Twilight and Rarity go back in her room.
- Twi: What should I do Rarity?
- Rarity: Isn't he only staying for a few more days?
- Twi: Yeah, I guess you're right. I have almost saved enough energy. Maybe it's best that he just leaves this place..
