                                                     a pursuer of the arcane , a student of the world around her.

                A l a s , her pursuit, her desire for such would be her d o w n f a l l ;

                                                she would rebel against her father

                                                                    and venture out into the raw, unforgiving world
                                                 to cross into the Demons' Lair , to know more about the kind

                  Like E v e , in Genesis,
                         she bit the apple of knowledge ;
                 a trick played upon her by an incubus, wishing to take the girl's form
                                        for his own nefarious purposes
                            and as she bit into the apple
                                        ( or, in a more literal term:
                                                read from the pages of the tome of knowledge )
                                      her herald form was ripped to shreds ;
                                                    and she was born anew as

                                                        the soul siphoner ;
                                                              ' she who ingests knowledge '
