- Judge Killer Moth (Flame)
- “Display your unique brand of charisma in your interactions with the crowd and pursuit of the objective!” Both teams do a good job of showing off their charisma brands: Ouroboros takes control of the situation, playing Norman, Nojus and the crowd against each other as he done time and time again; while Nojus shows that they are an incredible force of will, getting what they want done Done. A great showing from both teams, with both getting a **9**!
- Judge Mothman (Yuri)
- Hey guys! Judge Yuri back at it again. I would give a speech about Charisma here but I already did that in the quality delibs so instead we’re just gonna get right into it.
- Ouroboros bakes his ideal of charisma into every word of this strategy. It is built not only on that ideal, but each fundamental skill he needs to utilize it. From using his charismatic eye to discern the entire crowd to playing everyone on the field into his hands using every means he can acquire to *going on Nojus’s hypothetical live stream and donating to them in order to manipulate their behavior* Ouroboros plays every card he can for the sake of manipulation and does so flawlessly. This is the kind of Jojolity I want to SEE, people. If this strat is a masterclass in anything, it’s that. No complaints, take your *10*.
- For Nojus, I would’ve liked to see a bit more from you. You define your definition of charisma well enough at the start of the strat, but I feel as though you don’t quite follow through on it as much? It doesn’t feel nearly as baked in as Ouroboros’s, and at times feels a bit like an excuse to go with what you would’ve done anyway. Granted, that’s a fine way to approach a Jojolity if you can spin it right, but it was missing that bit of emphasis and spin that could’ve carried it to higher heights. Regardless, I do see the vision, and thus you get a solid *7*.
- Judge Mothra (Alpha)
- Alright, JoJolity! Display your unique Charisma and approach to the objective- which, in the latter case, is getting Norman.
- I’ll start once again with Elephant Graveyard! I said in the quality delibs that Ouroboros’ Charisma is the lifeblood of the strat, and by golly do I mean it.
- Our True Survivor starts us off with setting up a chessboard, where every moving body in the match becomes a part of the match, followed closely by self-application. With all of the bodies present, even if not under Ouroboros’ direct control as of yet, the fact that the scared, unwilling masses are all out and rolling around adds weight to the plan before the thematic ‘thwack’ of helping the stage hazard and throwing a wrench into your opponent.
- By using the flock to help the stage hazard- and thus, objective- Ouro makes it significantly easier to pinpoint the boy, before building up into making a smog of tear gas, then ripping someone’s head off to blend in amongst the remaining crowd, to distract them of course! Why not turn them all against both of the people before him, making his final job that much easier.
- The very final section is the disengagement before the kidnapping, which itself has multiple routes to finish.
- Now, did I need to recap the strat? No, but I wanted to paint a picture here. Every single moving part is ‘I play the crowd in order to move forward’: I help my opponent from his stream to earn his trust before stabbing him in the back; I harangue my enemy and lead a flock with a megaphone; I help my enemy indirectly, making myself a less important target all the while; I make sure that every moment is a distraction or a leading thought, letting my opponents and my flock wait at every turn, every bite; until I finally strike, and take my leave.
- I’m giving you guys a 9 on reflection. Great job!
- Moving onto Wild West, Nojus gave us their spin on our thesis from the jump: Nojus’ unstoppable will is their charisma. If they choose to do something, they will do it, and those around them will have to deal with it.
- Nojus opens up the match with essentially immunizing themselves to what they're about to do: an immense level of willful criminal negligence. From bombarding a crowd with teargas until a miasma strong enough to part the ‘seas’ of people into islands forms, to throwing permanent deafening devices in the miasma and back at the islands about them, Nojus is creating a living auditory hell.
- Moving in on Norman is no different, as buying rocks and other throwing implements to whip at the boy and his constructs is not only on the table, but breaking every last person dumb enough to stand in their way while they're doing it sits right next to it. This is their plan, their master mow-down to get what they want- Norman.
- They will rip through those act 2 constructs the same as they would any other crowd member, with little regard for its existence. Killing members of the crowd doesn’t stop or slow down the plan, it just gives Nojus more money to buy more rocks to ruin yet more lives on their way to CONTENT CREATION!
- Now, once again, did I need to write all of this out? No, obviously not, you probably read the strat, but I still it feel it bears repeating to paint the picture of just how far Nojus is willing to go to get an interview here. Honestly? Take my 9, this level of commitment deserves it.
