Biscuit: It hasn’t actually been that long since we’ve been to this school, but it’s still giving me a sense of nostalgia...

「まあな」
Orga: I guess so.

リオン
「またお会いできて嬉しいです、オルガさん」
Rion: It’s good to see you again, Orga.

オルガ
「あんたは確か、咲森学園の…」
Orga: Right, you were Sakimori Academy’s...

リオン
「七海リオンです。
一応、ここの代表ということで…」
Rion: Rion Nanami. I’m more or less just a representative here...

ハルト
「代表って…?」
Haruto: Representative...?

リオン
「本当は教育実習生の私じゃなく、
貴生川先生が適任なんだけど…
押しつけられちゃったのよ」
Rion: I’m actually only a teacher, so Mr. Kibukawa is much more qualified... But the position kind of got forced on me.

「そ、そうなんですか…大変ですね」
Biscuit: I-I see... I’m sure that must be tough on you.

「皆さん、ご無事で何よりです。
三日月も…」
Kudelia: Everyone, I’m so glad that you’re all safe. Mikazuki too...

「クーデリアもね」
Mikazuki: You too, Kudelia.

クーデリア
「あの、フミタンは…」
Kudelia: And Fumitan...?

ビスケット
「イサリビにいますよ。
ブリッジでオペレーターをやってもらってるんです」
Biscuit: Still on the Isaribi. She’s acting as our operator on the bridge.

クーデリア
「そうですか…」
Kudelia: Oh, I see...

オルガ
「あんたには面目もねえ。
護衛契約を結んだ相手をほったらかすなんざ、
最低の仕事だ」
Orga: We’ve done you wrong. We made a contract to escort you to Earth, but we just left you here. This is about the worst way we could have handled the job.

クーデリア
「いえ、気になさらないで下さい。
皆さんの意志とは関係なく起こったことですし、
むしろ、これまで大変だったでしょう」
Kudelia: No, please don’t think like that. What happened wasn’t of your own choice, and from what I gather, it doesn’t look like things have been easy for you during that time.

リオン
「それで、そちらの方々が…」
Rion: Speaking of, these people with you...?

ミサト
「ラー・カイラムの葛城ミサト二佐です。
こちらは護衛役の…」
Misato: I’m Lieutenant Colonel Misato Katsuragi, from the Ra Cailum. And the men playing the role of bodyguards over here are...

Guy: I’m Guy Shishioh.

「僕は破嵐万丈…以後、お見知りおきを」
Banjo: I am Banjo Haran. ...Pleased to make your acquaintance.

(Ride, Chad, Takaki, and Yamagi approach.)

「団長!」
Ride: Leader!

オルガ
「お前ら…心配をかけて悪かったな。
それに、俺達の留守をよく守ってくれた」
Orga: You guys... Sorry to make you all worry like that. And sorry that you had to watch over them while we were away.

チャド
「いえ…」
Chad: No, it’s fine...

タカキ
「団長や三日月さんたちの苦労に比べたら、
全然大したことないです」
Takaki: It’s nothing compared to what you and Mikazuki were going through.

ライド
「何だよ、お前ら。
置いてかれた後は文句言ってたくせに!
ヤマギ、お前も何か言ってやれよ!」
Ride: What are you guys saying? You were complaining like crazy after they left! Yamagi, you go on and say something too!

「別に…いい」
Yamagi: No... I’m good.

Guy: (So there’s even more young children in [Tekkadan]...)

(Shoko runs over.)

「ご、ごめんなさい、遅くなっちゃって…!」
Shoko: S-Sorry I’m late...!

Haruto: Shoko!

えっと…その、おかえり…」
Shoko: Ah, Haruto! Um...uh... Welcome back.

「うん…ただいま」

ようやく彼女と会えたってのに、それだけかよ」
Shino: Dude, come on... You finally see her again and that’s it?

[モジュール77]が置かれている現状と
これからの作戦について説明する」
L-elf: ...Lieutenant Colonel Misato Katsuragi, Orga Itsuka. I’ll explain the current situation and future operations concerning [Module 77].

オルガ
「ドルシアの軍人が俺達に指図するのか?」
Orga: We’re supposed to let a Dorssian soldier tell us what to do?

三日月
「そもそも、何でここに残ってるの?」
Mikazuki: Why are you still here anyways?

エルエルフ
「お前達が不在にしていた期間と
モジュール77の現状。どう読み解く?」
L-elf: Consider the time during your absence and the present state of Module 77. Can’t you figure it out?

三日月
「難しい話は苦手なんだけど」
Mikazuki: I’m not good with hard to understand stuff.

オルガ
「要はお前のおかげでモジュール77が
無事だったと言いたいんだろうが」
Orga: You’re saying the reason Module 77 isn’t a pile of space debris is ‘cuz of you.

エルエルフ
「各勢力が駆け引きを行った結果、
俺達は放置されたも同然だった。もっとも、
威力偵察レベルの攻撃は受けたがな」
L-elf: Through the results of effective negotiation with each major power, we remained practically untouched. Although we did suffer the odd attack from their reconnaissance parties.

ハルト
「もしかして、
流木野さんをヴァルヴレイヴに乗せたのは…!?」
Haruto: Then, the one that made Rukino pilot that Valvrave was...!?

サキ
「カーミラには自分自身の意志で乗ったわ。
あなたがいない間…モジュール77を守るためにね」
Saki: I chose to pilot Carmilla myself. To protect Module 77...while you were away.

ハルト
「だからって…!」
Haruto: But that’s—!

リオン
「あ、あの…モジュール77が襲われた時、
彼が色々と指示を出してくれたおかげで…」
Rion: U-Um... It’s thanks to all the instructions he gave us when Module 77 was attacked that...

ショーコ
「咲森学園のみんなと鉄華団の子達は
無事だったのよ」
Shoko: Everyone in Sakimori Academy and the Tekkadan kids are safe because of him.

クーデリア
「あと、モンターク商会との交渉も
彼にやっていただきました」
Kudelia: He was also the one that handled negotiations with the Montag Company afterwards.

Orga: ...

「事実を認めろ、オルガ・イツカ」
L-elf: Accept the truth, Orga Itsuka.

オルガ
「いいだろう、エルエルフ。
今のところは信用してやるぜ」
Orga: Alright, fine, L-elf. I’ll take you for your word, for now.

ミサト
「では、あなたの話を聞かせてもらいましょうか」
Misato: Then let’s hear what you have to say.

「ああ。俺についてこい」
L-elf: Right. Follow me.

「…モジュール77の現状はわかったわ。
これからの作戦について聞かせてもらえるかしら」
Misato: ...We’ve got an understanding of Module 77’s situation now. Now we’d like to hear about these plans for the future you have.

エルエルフ
「受け取れ。
お前達の成すべきことが記されている」
L-elf: Take this. It details what each of you must do.

ミサト
「新生ジオールの軍事的発展と
領土拡大についての計画書・改訂版…」
Misato: “New JIOR Military Development and Territory Expansion Plan – Revised”...

サトミ
「[ジオール]はドルシアに占領されましたからね。
指南君の独立宣言で、このモジュール77は
新しい独立国、新生ジオールになったんです」
Satomi: [JIOR] was occupied by Dorssia, you see. With Sashinami’s declaration of independence, Module 77 became a new independent country. One we called New JIOR.

万丈
「経緯はハルトから聞いていたけど、大胆だね。
リスクが高いと思うけど」
Banjo: We heard about that from Haruto. Bold doesn’t begin to describe it. No doubt this has put you at great risk.

エルエルフ
「だが、お前達がここへ来たことで、
計画の成功率は格段に上がる」
L-elf: But with your arrival, the plan’s success rate will have a dramatic increase.

ミサト
(…ゼロとは違ったタイプの自信家ね)
Misato: (...He’s like Zero, but he’s got a different kind of confidence to him.)

エルエルフ
「葛城二佐、俺の計画は
お前達の部隊の目的とも一致する」
L-elf: Lieutenant Colonel Katsuragi, my plan coincides with your unit’s objective.

ミサト
「私達の当面の目的は、元の世界への帰還よ」
Misato: Our immediate goal is to return to our original worlds.

エルエルフ
「それにはゲートの調査が必要不可欠だ。
この世界へ来たばかりで、孤立無援に等しい
お前達が、どうやってそれを成し遂げる?」
L-elf: Which is why investigating the Gates is absolutely essential. How do you expect to accomplish that having just appeared in this world, and with no allies to support you?

ミサト
「現状じゃ、モンターク商会に
協力を要請するしかないわね」
Misato: For now, we’ll have to rely on the Montag Company’s assistance.

エルエルフ
「奴らは商人だ。
具体的なメリットがなければ、動かない」
L-elf: They are businessmen. Without definitive compensation, they will not take action.

万丈
「だけど、ゲートには
興味を示すんじゃないかな」
Banjo: But I’m sure they’d have an interest in the Gates themselves.

エルエルフ
「お前達と利害が一致していると
言い切れるのか?」
L-elf: Can you say with confidence that their interests are aligned with your own?

万丈
「確証はないね」
Banjo: Not without proof, no.

「じゃあ、俺達が君達に協力して得られる
メリットは何だと言うんだ?」
Guy: Then what benefit would it serve us to cooperate with you?

エルエルフ
「俺の当面の目的は新生ジオールの安全保障の確立、
そして、クーデリア・藍那・バーンスタインと
蒔苗東護ノ介の会談…」
L-elf: My immediate goals are to establish the safety and stability of New JIOR, as well as allow Kudelia Aina Bernstein to engage in talks with Makanai Togonosuke.

エルエルフ
「この二つが実現すれば、
お前達はこの世界で後ろ盾を得られ、
ゲートの調査が容易になる」
L-elf: If both of these goals are met, then you will have gained support in this world, making investigation of the Gates a simple task.

ミサト
「あなたの言うことに一理あるのは認めるけど、
判断材料が足りないわ。この話は持ち帰って
検討させてもらうわね」
Misato: I admit you have a point, but I can’t make a decision here for myself. I’ll have to return to the ship and get back to you once we’ve all had a chance to talk it over.

エルエルフ
「いいだろう。
なお、そちらがここに留まっている間、
補給物資は無償で提供する」
L-elf: That’s not a problem. In addition, you will be provided with free supplies for the duration of your stay here.

万丈
「…やれやれ、補給を受けたら
かえって高く付きそうだな」
Banjo: ...And here I thought it would cost us an arm and a leg to receive supplies.

ミサト
「それに、私達がここへ来たことによって
状況は変わりそうね」
Misato: Now that we’re here, the situation has changed for them.

凱
「ドルシアや[ギャラルホルン]が
ここへ本格的な攻撃を開始すると?」
Guy: So you think Dorssia and [Gjallarhorn] will begin attacking in earnest?

ミサト
「おそらくね」
Misato: I’d bet money on it.

ハルト
「………」
Haruto: ...

サキ
「ハルト、私達だけで
モジュール77を充分守れるわ。
だから、大人達の力を借りる必要なんてない」
Saki: Haruto, we can protect Module 77 on our own. We don’t need the help of some adults.

ハルト
「でも、ラー・カイラムの人達は信用できるよ」
Haruto: But the people with the Ra Cailum are trustworthy.

サキ
「あなたねぇ、お人好しにも程があるわ!
今さら大人達の助けなんていらないわよ!」
Saki: You’re just being too much of a softy! We don’t need adults to save us now!

(Saki runs off.)

ハルト
「流木野さん!」
Haruto: Rukino!

凱
「あの子は、大人に対して
不信感を持っているみたいだな」
Guy: That girl doesn’t seem to trust adults very well.

万丈
「難しい年頃…という言葉じゃ、
片付けられなさそうだね」
Banjo: It doesn’t seem like it’s just because she’s at a difficult age either...

ミサト
(彼女、色々と危ういわね。
上陸したメンバーの誰かに
様子を見させた方がいいか…)
Misato: (She could end up in a lot of danger thinking like that. Maybe I should assign one of the guys off the ship to keep an eye on her...)

Module 77 – Near Sakimori Academy

「何よ、ハルトまで…!」
Saki: God, that Haruto...!

ライゾウ
「こんなトコにいたのかよ、流木野サキ」
Raizo: The heck you doin’ in a place like this, Saki Rukino?

サキ
「…何か用? 山田ライゾウ君」
Saki: Raizo Yamada? ...There something you need?

ライゾウ
「サンダーだ!
おい、あのロボットに俺を乗せろ!」
Raizo: Call me Thunder, dammit! And lemme pilot one of those robots!

サキ
「馬鹿言わないで。
あなたなんかに扱えるわけないじゃない」
Saki: Don’t be stupid. There’s no way you could handle it.

ライゾウ
「やってみねえで何がわかる!
俺はな、ノブの仇を討たなきゃいけねえんだよ!」
Raizo: You don’t know that till I’ve tried it! I gotta avenge Nobu!

サキ
「ノブ…?
ああ、犠牲になったあんたの友達?」
Saki: Nobu...? Oh, your friend that died in Dorssia’s first attack?

ライゾウ
「そうだ…!
だから、ドルシアの野郎をぶっ倒さなきゃ
気が済まねえ!」
Raizo: That’s right...! That’s why I gotta take down those Dorssia sons of bitches!

(Kyuma and Aina approach.)

キューマ
「おい、何やってるんだ、山田!」
Kyuma: Hey, what are you doing, Yamada!?

ライゾウ
「サンダーだっ! てめえには関係ねえ!!
俺はあのロボット…ヴァルヴレイヴに乗ってやる!」
Raizo: It’s Thunder, dammit! And it’s got nothing to do with you!! I’m gonna pilot one of those robots... Those Valvraves!

キューマ
「な、何を…」
Kyuma: Wh-What are you...

アイナ
「駄目です、そんなの…!」
Aina: No, you can’t...!

ライゾウ
「ああん?
何でてめえらまで反対すんだよ!?」
Raizo: The hell? Why’re you guys so damn against this!?

(Kamille and Four approach.)

カミーユ
「…何の騒ぎだ?」
Kamille: ...What’s going on here?

フォウ
「そうよ、女の子相手に…」
Four: It looks like you’re picking a fight with a girl...

ライゾウ
「うっせーな! てめえら、誰だよ!?
俺は流木野と話をしてんだよ!」
Raizo: Shaddup! Who the hell are you guys!? I’m talking to Rukino here!

キューマ
「落ち着け、山田。
他のヴァルヴレイヴのことを
流木野に言っても、どうにもならないぞ」
Kyuma: Relax, Yamada. There’s no way Rukino can tell you about the other Valvraves.

ライゾウ
「ちっ、まあいい。
だが、俺は諦めねえからな!」
Raizo: Tch, screw it. But I ain’t givin’ up!

(Raizo leaves.)

キューマ
「まったく、山田の奴…」
Kyuma: Seriously, Yamada’s just...

フォウ
「彼…何か事情があるみたいね」
Four: He...seems like he has his reasons.

アイナ
「流木野さん、あの、ありがとうございます!」
Aina: Um, thank you very much, Rukino!

サキ
「何よ、急に…?」
Saki: Where’d that come from...?

アイナ
「ハルトさんがいない間、
私達を助けてくれたじゃないですか。
慌ただしくてお礼も言えてなかったので…」
Aina: You’ve been keeping us safe while Haruto was away. So much has happened I just never got the chance to thank you...

サキ
「別に、大したことじゃ…」
Saki: It’s fine, it’s not that big of a deal...

フォウ
「さっきのあなたの戦い振り、見てたわ。
もう少し肩の力を抜いて素直になった方が
いいかも知れないわね」
Four: I saw how you were fighting before. Maybe you should relax and be more honest with yourself.

サキ
「…いきなり、何?」
Saki: ...Why are you suddenly bringing this up now?

カミーユ
「君の戦い方は危ない。
ヴァルヴレイヴの性能が高くても、
あれじゃ生命がいくつあっても足りないぞ」
Kamille: Your way of fighting is dangerous. Even with the Valvrave’s high performance, you’d need more than a few extra lives to keep it up.

サキ
「生命ね…。
私、そういうのは気にしてないんだけど」
Saki: Extra lives, huh... I’m not really worried about that myself.

カミーユ
「…君だけの問題じゃない」
Kamille: ...The problem isn’t just about yourself.

サキ
「ああ、もう…」
Saki: Oh for the love of...

(Haruto approaches.)

ハルト
「流木野さん…」
Haruto: Rukino...

サキ
「ハルト! 何やってたのよ!?」
Saki: Haruto! What have you been doing!?

ハルト
「何って…流木野さんを探して…」
Haruto: What was I doing...? I was looking for you...

サキ
「だったら、もっと早く見つけなさいよ!」
Saki: Then you should have found me sooner!

ハルト
「そんな…」
Haruto: How could I have—

(The alarm sounds.)

アイナ
「これって…!」
Aina: That’s...!

キューマ
「敵が来たのか!?」
Kyuma: The enemy’s here!?

カミーユ
「フォウ、ハルト、艦へ戻るぞ」
Kamille: Four, Haruto, we’re going back to the ship!

ハルト
「わかりました!」
Haruto: Got it!

サキ
「大人達の助けはいらないって言ったでしょ!
敵は、私とカーミラで倒してみせるわ!」
Saki: I said we don’t need help from adults! Carmilla and I will defeat the enemies on our own!

サキ
(他人に期待するのはとっくにやめたのよ…!
自分でやってみせる…!)
Saki: (I stopped expecting anything from other people a long time ago...! I can do this myself...!)

(Rukino runs off.)

ハルト
「ちょっと! 流木野さん!」
Haruto: Wait! Rukino!

フォウ
「カミーユ、あの子…」
Four: Kamile, that girl...

カミーユ
「ああ、あれじゃ危険だ」
Kamille: Yeah, she’s gonna be in trouble.

フォウ
(自分を認めてもらいたい…。
多分、それがあの子の…)
Four: (“I want to be recognized for who I am.”... Maybe that’s what that girl is...)

『サキ・カムバック』
Episode 41
Saki’s Comeback


(Scene starts in space outside Module 77. The Ra Cailum and the Isaribi appear on the Module. Dorssian mechs are surrounding the Module.)

トーレス
「敵機はモジュール77を包囲する気のようです!」
Torres: The enemy units appear to be surrounding Module 77!

ブライト
「ラー・カイラムとイサリビはここで固定。
各機は出撃後、散開して各方面から来る
敵機を迎撃しろ」
Bright: The Ra Cailum and the Isaribi will secure this position. Once all units are launched, they will fan out and intercept the approaching enemy units from all sides.

(The player’s team, Haruto, and Rukino deploy. Rukino is positioned further away from the Module than the others.)

ハルト
「流木野さん、前に出過ぎないで!」
Haruto: Rukino, you’re too far out!

サキ
「私一人で敵を倒してみせるって言ったでしょう!」
Saki: I told you, I can defeat the enemy on my own!

フォウ
(ヴァルヴレイヴ1機だけで
何とかなる状況じゃない…!)
Four: (The Valvrave is still just one machine, no matter the situation...!)

エルエルフ
(まずはこちらの戦力を分散させる気か。
セオリー通りだが、真意は予測済みだ)
L-elf: (They want to start by separating our forces. While that much is true, they have another objective in mind.)

エルエルフ
(そして、流木野サキは間違いなく突出する。
これらのことから導き出される結論は…)
L-elf: (Saki Rukino undoubtedly stands out. So the conclusion to be drawn from this is...)

(Battle 1 begins.)

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

サキ
「ふふっ、やっぱり大したことないわね。
あの程度なら、私だけでも倒せたわ」
Saki: Haha, piece of cake. I could have handled this all on my own.

ハルト
「流木野さん! 無茶しないで!」
Haruto: Rukino! You’re being too reckless!

(X-eins, H-neun, and Dorssian mechs appear.)

アキト
「…あの大型機が敵の本命か」
Akito: ...Those large machines are the real enemies.)

ミサト
「正面から仕掛けて来たわね。
もしかして、彼らの狙いは…!」
Misato: They’re making a frontal assault. Does that mean their target is...!?

イクスアイン
「ハーノ、わかってるな?」
X-eins: You know what to do, Han?

ハーノイン
「はいはい、作戦通りってことね!」
H-neun: You know it. Let’s get this show on the road!

(H-neun moves towards Module 77.)

サキ
「この私を無視して
モジュール77を狙うつもり?
そうはさせない!」
Saki: Trying to ignore me and go after Module 77? Like I’ll let that happen!

(Saki moves toward H-neun.)

ハルト
「待って、流木野さん!
一人で行っちゃ駄目だ!」
Haruto: Wait, Rukino! You can’t go on your own!

サキ
「うるさいわね!
あんな奴ら、私だけで充分よ!」
Saki: Shut up already! I can handle these guys on my own!

ハーノイン
「引っ掛かったな!」
H-neun: Hook, line, and sinker!

イクスアイン
「私の分析通り…!」
X-eins: My analysis was correct...!

(X-eins and the other Dorssian mechs surround Saki on all sides.)

サキ
「挟み撃ち!?」
Saki: A pincer attack!?

ハルト
「流木野さん!?
くっ! これじゃ迂闊に近づけない!」
Haruto: Rukino!? Damn! I can’t get near her like this!

ハーノイン
「おらよっ!」
H-neun: Have some of this!

(H-neun attacks Saki.)

サキ
「ああっ!?」
Saki: Ah!?

ハルト
「流木野さん!」
Haruto: Rukino!

イクスアイン
「あのヴァルヴレイヴは戦闘になると
突出する癖がある。孤立させ、少しずつ
削っていけば勝利は疑いない」
X-eins: That Valvrave has a habit of overextending itself in battle. Isolated, we can assure victory by chipping away at it.

(X-eins attacks Saki.)

サキ
「くうっ!
ここから離れなきゃ!」
Saki: Ugh! I’ve gotta get away from here!

(Saki leaves the map.)

ハルト
「流木野さん! どこへ行くんだ!?」
Haruto: Rukino! Where are you going!?


モジュール77 地下司令室
Module 77 – Underground Command Room


アイナ
「流木野さんが追われてる!
このままじゃ…!」
Aina: They’re chasing Rukino! If this keeps up...!

サトミ
「もし、ヴァルヴレイヴIV が
モジュール77へ戻って来たら、
一緒に敵も…!」
Satomi: If Valvrave IV comes back to Module 77 with the enemy in tow...!

リオン
「落ち着いて!
え、えーと…こういう時は…」
Rion: Calm down! W-Well, uh... In times like these...

サトミ
「ど、どうすればいいんですか、先生!?」
Satomi: Wh-What are we supposed to do, Miss Nanami!?

タカヒ
「しっかりしなさいよ、サトミ!」
Takahi: Get yourself together, Satomi!

サトミ
「そんなことを言われても…!」
Satomi: How can I do that now...!?

エルエルフ
「………」
L-elf: ...

ショーコ
(何とかしなきゃ…!
私に出来ることを何か…!)
Shoko: (I have to do something...! But what CAN I do...!?)


(Scene changes to a map screen of space, away from Module 77. Rukino is surrounded by X-eins,  H-neun, and Dorssian mechs on two sides.)


ハーノイン
「そろそろ大人しくしなっ!」
H-neun: We’ll wrap this up in no time!

(H-neun attacks Saki.)

サキ
「きゃあああっ!!」
Saki: Kyaaa!!

サキ
「震えて…? こんな…!
怖い…!! 私…不死身なのに…!!」
Saki: I’m shaking...? No way...! I’m scared...!! But...I’m immortal...!!

イクスアイン
「動きが鈍った! 鹵獲せよ!」
X-eins: Its movements are slowing down! Capture it!

(Two Dorssian mechs move to Saki.)

サキ
「ああっ!」
Saki: Aah!

ハーノイン
「さてと、後は…」
H-neun: Now all that’s left is—

(Haruto and Four appear.)

ハルト
「流木野さん!」
Haruto: Rukino!

フォウ
「あの子を助けるわよ、ハルト!
まずは大型機に攻撃を!」
Four: We’re going to rescue her, Haruto! Start by hitting the big ones!

ハルト
「はい!」
Haruto: Right!

Four: Looks like she’s fine now.

X-eins: Han! We’ll capture that Valvrave ourselves!

あの黒いデカブツは、叩き壊してやる!」
H-neun: Roger! I’m gonna smash that big black one too!
