- Trystan sighed and turned his gaze to the ceiling at her question, wondering if he did really feel okay. It's not like he didn't enjoy his current circumstances but he didn't know if that meant he enjoyed it either. To him, it was simply something else to do. When it was done, he'd go back to wandering alone, searching for something he couldn't quite explain. "I'm okay, yes." He said, giving the top of Zoey's head a gentle chop. "You're not a hassle. Like you said, you can see. Your ears are better than mine. Hell, they might even be better than Mariella's."
- "You are aware that I can still hear you, right?"
- "TThat's why I said it." He said. He turned his attention back to Zoey. "Even if you can't see, you have value by even just being alive. You've made it this far by yourself, right?" Dealing with people was never his strong suit, but Mariella's lack of emotional intelligence meant that it was a skill he'd had to learn quickly. Whether he was any good at it was to be seen, but he felt like he was pretty good at it. He hadn't heard of anyone talking down a bandit chief with a gun in his face. "Believe in yourself a bit more. You're a lot stronger than you probably realize Zo."
