  1. PREVIOUSLY SENT PRAYER
  2. pray to lantra Dearest Lady Empyreals - it is me - Gurashi! My dearly one and me invited Tavi to throw flower petals and thingies at our wedding and ask if she could come to the party, yeah! With foods and friends! Ham will be there, and Bizi. Know is a bigly maybe but many thank Yous for even considering? Of course You are invited as well! Many thank Yous! Oh - wanted to ask, since mine-child Cheliyi mentioned that You are one of the Eldest Elders: are ALL or ANY of the stars in the sky alive? Are they all actually living thinking peoples? Tridemon told me a story about how a shooting star came to live in New Celest, and how the Star of Celest seemed almost tempted to leave but stayed because it had muchly too important of a jobs... I think about it a lot, meeting stars. Are they close together? Or far aparts? Ho hums... Anyway, that is all! Many thank Yous again for all the kindnesses You have given unto mine family and Cheliyi and the City! Stay goodly and kind - Gurashi!
  3.
  4. <-- Gurashi! Milling about, working on designs/letters to people/wedding plans! taking a look at the Archon guildhall and doing some 'chores' there :D
  5.
  6. A tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail trots in with head high, butting you gently with his head.
  7. As a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail comes to a stop in front of you, you pull out A Trusty Saddle of the Rider and place it upon his back, pulling and tightening the straps until the saddle is fitting firmly and snugly upon a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail.
  8.
  9. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "Haaaaaaaaaam."
  10.
  11. You reach out, pulling a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail into a tight embrace.
  12. A tawny Nyalian mastiff's ears rise and sharpen into tight triangles as he stares vigilantly at you.
  13.
  14. The dovecote.
  15. This location is flooded with shallow, crystal clear water. The western wall of the compound rises several stories high, and is riddled with circular doors reached by a dizzying array of steps and ledges. A small plaque set to the side of each door bears the name of the family who has made that chamber their temporary home. A few of the doors hang open, their plaques empty and unclaimed. These open doors reveal the small, tidy chamber within, decorated with colourful mats and cushions for sitting or sleeping. The adobe walls have hooks awaiting belongings and decorations. At a distance, the effect is much like that of a dovecote, for which the entire compound has been christened.
  16. You see exits leading east (open door) and south.
  17.
  18. You have emoted: Gurashi looks about the dovecote with a curious expression, moving to gather a broom from near the doors leading to the Archon guildhall. At once, they begin to sweep away the stone path leading up to the birdhouses, their own wings flapping behind them as they hum.
  19.
  20. You have emoted: Behind the trill, a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail watches curiously, then begins to sniff around and do his best to 'help', gathering branches from small nearby trees and dropping them into a pile. Gurashi looks up with a smile and a chirp. "Good boy!"
  21.
  22. You pet a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail ingratiatingly.
  23. A tawny Nyalian mastiff's ears rise and sharpen into tight triangles as he stares vigilantly at you.
  24.
  25. <-- doin' other stuff for a while
  26.
  27. Esei emerges from a cloud of icy, freezing fog, their eyes glazed with the chill of the grave.
  28.
  29. Esei suddenly turns to you, and you watch as they reaches out and lightly boops you on the nose with a finger.
  30.
  31. Esei pets a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail ingratiatingly.
  32. Almost like he were chewing on a bone, a tawny Nyalian mastiff vigorously shakes the weapon in his mouth in a wide arc.
  33.
  34. Skeletal white blossoms flower along the flesh of Esei, riding Dusan, the coruscant, as their body splits apart into a blizzard of blackthorn petals that leave to the east.
  35.
  36. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks, pausing in the middle of their sweeping.
  37.
  38. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "...ah."
  39.
  40. Gently twinkling into existence, faint motes of starlight beckon you to the Fulcrux of Lantra, the Empyreal before dispersing on a soothing wind.
  41.
  42. You have emoted: Gurashi lifts their head as they mill about their office, tidying pages. With a gentle gasp their plumage ruffles up and they warble excitedly. "Oh! I will be right there! HAM," They address the nearby mastiff, who lifts his huge head curiously as he is addressed, too big to fit inside the office itself. "WE ARE GOING ON A MISSIONS."
  43.
  44. You pet a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail ingratiatingly.
  45. A low rumble shudders throughout a tawny Nyalian mastiff's chest, a sort of gentle, contented sound.
  46.
  47. LOOK ME
  48. They are a feathered trill kindly demigod changeling. Downy plumes of vibrant orange cascade in a tumble around their head, the cluster of feathers stopping just short of their shoulders and moving at the slightest breeze. A cluster of snow-white feathers grow near their right temple. A natural mask of downy black feathers have sprouted around their eyes, covering the upper portion of their face and fading in with the colorful orange feathers at the hairline and temples. A moderately-sized, crescent-shaped scar mars their right cheek, pink where it would otherwise be black. A hint of discolored flesh can be seen at the center of their sternum, mostly obscured by their clothing. Two tufts of feathers gather where their ears would normally be, adorned by long, curling feathers that react to their mood. Their eyes are wide and inquisitive, a stunning gray that looks almost blue against the bright orange and striking black feathers. They stand just shy of six foot even, with a thin, willowy build, their skin sandy and smooth. Hanging half-limp behind them are a pair of great apricot-colored wings, the covert feathers nearest to their back the same ebony-violet as the feathers that cover their brow and cheekbones. Their wings are sleek and shiny, evidence of recent grooming efforts. A scarlet hieroglyph rests in the centre of their forehead, flickering with occasional tongues of lightning to show the truefavour of Mysrai, the Shofet of Abyssal Scales. A shifting pearlescence graces their skin as they walk with the truefavour of Carakhan, Sculptor of Waves.
  49. They are wearing:
  50. a starry wreath of celestial light set atop their head like a halo
  51. a circlet of crystal thorns resting loosely atop their head
  52. a vivid red-orange poppy tucked lovingly behind their left ear
  53. the Mantle of Starlight which flows dreamily about their shoulders and back
  54. a breezy blue cotton tunic which hangs flatteringly from their form
  55. mercurial Mysraian prayer beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  56. a Glomdoring friendship bracelet which jingles softly on their left wrist
  57. minty citrus incense beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  58. a shifting, living poppy of ruby petals worn delicately upon their left wrist
  59. a driftwood ring of sea breezes fitted tightly to their left middle finger
  60. simple white linen trousers which swish around their legs freely
  61. Refined Boots of the Paladin, worn and weathered from use.
  62.
  63. You think to yourself: ...oh - Shofets is the Shofet! (They had been Thief/owl aspect when checked earlier)
  64.
  65. <-- walky walky
  66.
  67. Before a secluded mountain spring.
  68. Immaculate white marble glistens with a faint sparkle of mist as the narrow path opens up to reveal a shallow mountain spring, filled with the gentle sound of trickling water. Marbled shades of celadon blue dance across the smooth surface of the polished stone, resembling the way starlight dapples across the open sea as it emanates with a constant thrum of cool, luminous energy. A soothing breeze whispers throughout the hollow cavern, resounding within the alabaster walls with a lingering, watery echo. Shimmering over with water and light, a sparkling veil of white mist draws a starry curtain here.
  69. You see exits leading north and west.
  70.
  71. You think to yourself: Is this right?
  72.
  73. You tilt your head curiously at a sparkling veil of white mist.
  74.
  75. In an airy, melodic voice, you say to a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail, "Watch your steps, O-K? Careful steppies, O-K."
  76.
  77. You part a sparkling veil of white mist, leaving your surroundings in a bright shimmer of water and light.
  78. The Fulcrux of Lantra.
  79. The rush of running water echoes throughout this alabaster sanctuary, its white pillars surrounded on all sides by shimmering waterfalls. Breathtaking stars twinkle across the misty falls as they collect into a luminous gazing pool, its rippling waters clear and sparkling as they reflect the open expanse of the celestial sky above. Caught in a graceful dance of duality, an immaculate white koi fish circles its dark twin in the glittering depths of the basin, continuing in a silent push and pull as their silhouettes form two halves of a whole. The white, blue and pink petals of assorted lotus flowers crown these starry waters with their regal beauty, standing at the feet of several stone priestesses who guard this place. The statues bow their veiled heads in silent prayer, each bearing a tilted celadon urn that overflows with the boundless light of healing waters. Shimmering over with water and light, a sparkling veil of white mist draws a starry curtain here. Impossibly still at the centre of this luminous pool of water and light, a single star lotus flower blooms brighter than all the others, its heart radiant as the dewy petals unfurl to reveal a beautiful, enchanting light.
  80. There are no obvious exits.
  81.
  82. Your wings flap excitedly behind you.
  83.
  84. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Blessings of the Light upon you, Gurashi of New Celest."
  85.
  86. Bowing politely, you say, "Good morning, Lady Empyreals!!" They rise from their bow, wings flapping excitedly. "Hello!"
  87.
  88. You eyes light up as you smile.
  89.
  90. A golden firefly squid drags itself in.
  91. It bears the distinctive mark of Slakened Cheliyi, Novitiate of Purity.
  92. A golden firefly squid flails about helplessly.
  93. A golden firefly squid scuttles away.
  94.
  95. Your melodic voice sings into Slakened Cheliyi, Novitiate of Purity's mind, "Ah! Goodly morning, mine-childs! Hello!"
  96.
  97. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Your prayer tells Me that congratulations are in order. May you be blessed with much happiness in your life ahead."
  98.
  99. You have emoted: At this, Gurashi's plumage ruffles up excitedly, and they are unable to help let a smile part their face, flashing the empty Fulcrux air a toothy grin. "Many thank Yous, Lady Empyreals! Many thank Yous, I hope so!" They puff their cheeks. "I really do hope so!"
  100.
  101. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Your excitement has been particularly infectious for Tavi. She is asking Me now why I am not married. It is a strange query to have to answer as a Divine."
  102.
  103. Soft laughter as light as a gentle rain ripples about the luminous pool, the melodious sound resonating throughout the Fulcrux.
  104.
  105. The melodious voice of Cheliyi resonates in your mind, "G'mornings dad! Squiddy sillies are afoot, yes." <-- honestly so shook by what Lantra just said LOL my brain went to taters
  106.
  107. You have emoted: Gurashi puffs their cheeks and cocks their head dramatically to the side, blinking owlishly as their gaze sweeps the Fulcrux, looking for something to settle on. They eventually pick one of the many flowers floating in the water here. "I... can imagine! I..." They try not to laugh, but their voice wavers with a giggle as they grimace and add, "am sorry to give her so many newly thinks and thoughts to ask You! Ahah! I am sorry!! She is so hungry to learn, though!"
  108.
  109. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "You will not offend Me by laughing at something that is admittedly amusing."
  110.
  111. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I am glad she is so taken with the people of New Celest. You have all been exceedingly kind to her. I am grateful for that."
  112.
  113. You think to yourself: *swirling, colorful thoughts ping about their mind - CAN Divine get married? Are any Divine married like mortals are - ceremonies, flowers, a union marked by a shared tie?*.
  114.
  115. You eyes light up as you smile.
  116.
  117. In an airy, melodic voice, you ask, "Who - to Miss Tavi?"
  118.
  119. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Indeed so."
  120.
  121. Silvery cracks splinter their way across the sky, scarlet hieroglyphs heralding the dance of chaotic copper-hued lightning through the aether. A powerful thrum invokes a deep dread in your stomach, and then reality repairs itself as the Will of the Shofet is made known.
  122. In a moment of negligible disdain, Mysrai, the Shofet of Abyssal Scales has amended Their Will regarding the state of Ilisa's existence.
  123. You see the death occur at an intimate lounge of natural hues.
  124.
  125. You have emoted: Gurashi laughs a little more, swaying in their spot. Behind them, a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail gently noses at their back, then sits bodily on the ground, tail wagging as he too stares at the floating flowers and shimmering light. "Everybody deserves to have peoples be kind to thems! It is goodly to feel loved!" They enthuse. "And am glad Tavi is having so muchly funs. And liked..."
  126.
  127. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off, their joyful attentions drifting back towards the veil that granted them entrance to the Fulcrux, expression twisted with confusion. "...am, glad she liked the playgrounds," They continue their thought at last, returning to the waters. "And, is making so many friends. She is a good persons, Tavi is."
  128.
  129. There is a faint pulse of interest in the luminous pool as the copper lightning manifests through the air, that then ebbs and fades as it is disregarded in polite silence.
  130.
  131. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Yes. It a bit exasperating, at times. There is no malice in her, however, merely a boundless font of childish enthusiasm."
  132.
  133. You gaze softens as you smile.
  134.
  135. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I will admit it has been a long time since I have tended such young beings. Time has eroded My memory of youth. Tavi is a refreshing memory of that, if sometimes a frank and unexpected one."
  136.
  137. In an airy, melodic voice, you ask, "Do You have fun too?" They lean forward, examining the koi swimming, their warping, watery reflection. "Playing with her. Like, on the playgrounds." Slowly they sink at the edge of the pool, wrapping their arms around their knees as they continue to speak. "Cheliyi said You were one of the Eldest Elders? Is true?"
  138.
  139. You pet a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail ingratiatingly.
  140. A tawny Nyalian mastiff's ears rise and sharpen into tight triangles as he stares vigilantly at you.
  141.
  142. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Not so ancient as your patron, for few Star Gods were born prior to Them and Zvoltz. They were the first of Dynara's favored forms."
  143.
  144. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "And yet Mine was one of the first creches that Dynara tended to after, yes. I witnessed the birth of thousands of Star Gods in My times following Dynara across the planar sheaths, in the early days of the Song of Creation."
  145.
  146. Unable to mask their wonder as they gaze down at their reflection, you whisper, "Wowee...."
  147.
  148. You tilt your head curiously.
  149.
  150. Soothing winds whisper past you on an errant breeze, rippling through the Fulcrux's sparkling mists like water.
  151.
  152. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "The art of healing is interwoven deeply with the act of Creation. I believe many of the Hamadhi did not realize We were learning the art of healing, at first -- We were merely studying the Creation of Life itself. And when that Life is unmade, We restore it to as it was."
  153.
  154. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "The Thousandfolds is ancient to You?" They seem surprised by this. "Really really? Wowee..."
  155.
  156. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Indeed. Zvoltz and Mysrai are the eldest among the Star Gods."
  157.
  158. You have emoted: Gurashi squeezes their knees a little tighter, watching their reflection still with an awed expression. "Does that make Them different, somehows? Or just... really Elder Elders?" They warble curiously, then look over towards the master shrine of Lantra, ears swiveling this way and that. "Cannot imagines what that must've been likes... wowee... oh! Ah - does mean, You gots my prayer?" They gasp gently, interrupting their previous question with a new one. "Are Stars a-live peoples? Living peoples in the sky?"
  159.
  160. You bounce up and down.
  161.
  162. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Hmm. We are all different, in Our way." There is a patient silence to your query as the waters shimmer over with faint light, considering. "I do believe that They share more with the Primal Gods than any other Star Gods do. It is a faint distinction, yet one I note nonetheless as one who has studied so intensely the immanidivinus etherea."
  163.
  164. You tilt your head curiously.
  165.
  166. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Ah, you had asked Me a question regarding stars, did you not?"
  167.
  168. In an airy, melodic voice, you whisper, "Primal Gods..."
  169.
  170. You have emoted: Gurashi chews on their lower lip, furrowing their brow in confusion. "Oh..." Slowly they lean forward, coming down from being balanced on the balls of their feet to their knees. "Yeah! I did! Cheli said You might know! I wanna know - I love the story, about the Star that came to New Celest! And, we HAVE a Star too! So... must be more?"
  171.
  172. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Tell Me this story. I enjoyed listening to them, sometimes."
  173.
  174. You have emoted: Gurashi puffs up with pride. "It is a short story, what little I know. That one day, there were falling stars in the sky, over the City!" They lean backward with such force they might fall, but a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail again saves the trill with his sheer bulk seated there. "Sometimes, that happens! But this time, somethings was differently! The Star of Celest was acting weird, like she wanted to leaves! But she couldn't, 'cause her job was so important..." They lean forward again, speaking excitedly to the lotus flowers blooming in the Fulcrux.
  175.
  176. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "And then, one of the stars came down! All the way into the city!"
  177.
  178. You have emoted: Gurashi wriggles their fingers. "And he...? Was, a-live! A real whole stars! An ephemerals, Tridemon said, so his existence was fleeting. But he came to New Celest!" They wiggle in their spot, wings flapping. "I do not know, though, if he became friends with the Star of Celest? Or if it was she who called him down to the City! But I am glad he came cause peoples got to meets him! And see they was really real!"
  179.
  180. You have emoted: Gurashi flaps their wings, then sags a little. "I do not know, if have all the details rightly, because was a story told from a-nother persons... but, cannot help but wonder now, when look up - are all stars stars, like the Star of Celest? Or stars like the falling ones, the ephemeral ones... destined to burn brightly, only to leave us a few years later? Are all like that? Ah..."
  181.
  182. You cough softly.
  183.
  184. Your eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across your face.
  185.
  186. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "S-sorry! It is an exciting story."
  187.
  188. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Ephemerals are aptly named beings, for the flicker briefly into existence before fading out as swiftly. There is much joy in their appearance, however short it may be."
  189.
  190. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "It is a curious question, one I wonder if an Awakener might be better suited to answer than I. My Brother Darvellan oft imbued stars with His own essence to leave guiding paths for Himself in the form of constellations, and I followed one such path back to the Basin of Life from the Void."
  191.
  192. You have emoted: Gurashi nods sadly, frowning.
  193.
  194. Quietly, you say, "An Awakener... oh! Right!"
  195.
  196. Excitedly, you say, "When You and the Lady Even-Bladed returned, right? I was there!"
  197.
  198. You bounce up and down.
  199.
  200. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "The stars fell then, too... on the roads..."
  201.
  202. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off curiously. "Or... pieces? Of thems...I couldn't find thems mineselfs - am slow."
  203.
  204. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Indeed so. The constellation was dashed and destroyed, preventing the Soulless from finding it in pursuit of Us."
  205.
  206. Shadows dance across the rocky walls, perpetually avoiding the available light.
  207.
  208. You have emoted: Gurashi nods slowly, wide-eyed as they choose another flower to focus on. "That must have been scary... am glad, You Boths made it here safely... Uhm..." They furrow their brow. "If You do not know per-says, then... can recommend, an Awakeners to ask?"
  209.
  210. You tilt your head curiously.
  211.
  212. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I confess a great love of stars, however. There is a comfort in their brilliance, twinkling and finite as it is. How they flicker, sometimes, to feel unseen."
  213.
  214. You eyes light up as you smile.
  215.
  216. You nod your head emphatically.
  217.
  218. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "Like a heartbeats!"
  219.
  220. Soft laughter as light as a gentle rain ripples about the luminous pool, the melodious sound resonating throughout the Fulcrux.
  221.
  222. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Just so, yes."
  223.
  224. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles their hands. "I wonder, always wonder."
  225.
  226. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "In regards to your question, there are precious few Awakeners who remain waking in Lusternia. I would not recommend asking the Lady Li-varili such a question, for She is unlikely to answer in good faith."
  227.
  228. You wince in pain.
  229.
  230. (Veiled): You say, "I love you all, Beloveds! Stay goodly, and kindly, and let me know if need any things, O-K? O-K."
  231.
  232. (Veiled): Tonatiuh says, "Beautiful dreams, Beloved Gurashi."
  233.
  234. A lengthy silence descends upon the luminous pool before the Goddess speaks once more, a careful consideration and caution imbued in Her next words.
  235.
  236. Twiddling, you say, "I tried to talk to Her but, no, I do not think She would answer my questions..."
  237.
  238. You tilt your head and listen intently.
  239.
  240. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "The Silent Lord would know more than most, as the Awakener of Night. And yet I am not sure it is wise to direct you to Him either, child."
  241.
  242. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "For there is much of Him that shrouds His intent in shadows."
  243.
  244. You have emoted: At this, Gurashi's ears flatten atop their head, and their earlier exuberance withers a bit. "Oh."
  245.
  246. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  247.
  248. Quietly, you say, "...Lady Empyreals, that is not a lot of Awakener options at all, no. Gosh."
  249.
  250. You glance askance.
  251.
  252. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "The Divine once numbered in the thousands. Now, we are scattered."
  253.
  254. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Your patron and I are the only ones of the Third Circle who yet roam this world waking, as well."
  255.
  256. You think to yourself: *recalling the last time the Two of Them were face to face at the playground as Esei is whisked off by His Divine portal - heart pounding in their ears, staring at One Another in tense silence that ends in a stagnant stalemate*.
  257.
  258. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  259.
  260. Quietly, you say, "Am sorry."
  261.
  262. There is a gentle light that suffuses you in its soothing glow as a mantle of starlit mist settles about your shoulders like a mantle, embracing you like angelic wings that enfold about your form.
  263.
  264. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "You need not apologize for wrongs that are not your own."
  265.
  266. The Mantle of Starlight flows gently against your form, twinkling stars shifting across its surface as the starry infinity continues its eternal motion.
  267.
  268. You have emoted: Gurashi's shoulders bunch slightly, and they glance down to the Mantle of Starlight curiously, ears rising again. "Oh, no, I know it is not my fault. But, that does not make it not sad," They look back at the water. "It is very sad. I am glad You are O-K, but it is sad for Those that did not." They smile weakly. "Wish there were More that I could ask questions, too. But am grateful, You are willing to answer mines... or, try to?" They flap their wings excitedly.
  269.
  270. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I am glad to give you what little Wisdom I possess, such as it is."
  271.
  272. In an airy, melodic voice, you ask, "Like, like, I did not know that about My Shofets, or the Lord Architect - that They were so old? That is NEAT..." They look back towards the Veil that granted them entrance. "Ah... I should probably, also ask! I know, You are still working on preparing, to heal Beloved Aschwar... yes?" They furrow their brow. "That is ... still, the plans yes? Is there anything that I could do, to help aid You? Or do anything for You, since You have been so kindly to my family and my fellow Beloveds, know?"
  273.
  274. You twiddle your thumbs.
  275.
  276. You think to yourself: *swirling gratitude, echoes of laughter from Tavi, from Cheli - the Mantle against their shoulders feels warm and light*.
  277.
  278. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Yes. My healing mound has been in preparation. I confess some delay, as I wondered if the Lady of the Lagoons might reach Me for healing."
  279.
  280. You blink.
  281.
  282. Surprised, you ask, "...did She?"
  283.
  284. You have emoted: Gurashi leans forward, boggling. "She was still very hurt, last I saw Her. Mean, physical wounds... better but - heart still hurts lots."
  285.
  286. Several moments of silence descend upon the luminous pool, lights twirling about the celestial waters in pensive arcs.
  287.
  288. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  289.
  290. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "We spoke. She did not like what I had to say. Or perhaps it was merely not what She desired to hear."
  291.
  292. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I would not begrudge one of My kind healing who has suffered such torment."
  293.
  294. You have emoted: Gurashi frowns deeper. "...She didn't deserves it," They say at last. "She makes my hearts heavy. Even if her intentions were bad then, suffered too muchly. Nobody, not anybody deserves what She gots." They puff their cheeks. "...so, She did not agree to any healings... then? I didn't hear abouts it. Didn't know You two had talked!" They flap their wings. "My Most Beloved tried to talk to Her too but, She got upset at Them, too. Is no trust."
  295.
  296. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  297.
  298. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "It was most recent, yes. The previous month or so. The Lady of the Lagoons believed She could tempt Me with promises of power and the Eye of Dynara, but I fear She has little understanding of the artifact She holds."
  299.
  300. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Certainly Her understanding of healing is limited. For I cannot merely wave My hands and undo thousands of years of suffering. Would that it were that simple."
  301.
  302. There is the faintest sound of a sigh drifting through the soothing mists of the Fulcrux, revealing the barest hint of frustration.
  303.
  304. You have emoted: Gurashi's eyes widen. "I heard about that, the Eye," They lean forward with a frown. "I remember, when was living in the Glomdoring, and the Lord Silence had it, and was mad 'cause the Lady of Serenity's peoples tooks it... I do not know what it does, except that ... well, Lady Dynara, was so... very important, and so, can imagine, it is ... strongly! Very strongly." They lean forward, hands flat on the ground. "What can we do? To helps?"
  305.
  306. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  307.
  308. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "That is a question I have long wondered over, child of the Light. There is little that can be done to help someone, however, who does not desire your healing."
  309.
  310. You glance askance.
  311.
  312. You think to yourself: *a burning desire to make right, but just as quickly - assent - cannot heal that which does not want to be healed*.
  313.
  314. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "I believe She chooses to view all who do not do as She wishes as an enemy to Her happiness."
  315.
  316. Weakly, you say, "But She does not wanna say what She wants." They pick at a loose bit of ground near their feet. "Said She wants everything. And, that's a LOT of things."
  317.
  318. Your shoulders sag slightly as you sigh.
  319.
  320. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Perhaps that is a failing many Divine possess. I have exasperated many a mortal with a deflection to such a question, indeed."
  321.
  322. Soft laughter as light as a gentle rain ripples about the luminous pool, the melodious sound resonating throughout the Fulcrux.
  323.
  324. You huff, puffing your cheeks.
  325.
  326. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "You are right, however. 'Everything' involves a concerning enormity of things."
  327.
  328. Abruptly, you say, "Why are Divines so mysterious with Their words, so oftens? Is hard enough for me to figure out the regular ones...ah."
  329.
  330. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Perhaps mortals have simpler desires than Us. I find the question perplexing to answer, in truth."
  331.
  332. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "We have wanted so much and been denied so much of those desires. We have faced, too often, the futility of wanting."
  333.
  334. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "There is a fear that comes from voicing such aloud, when one is too aware of the possibility of such loss."
  335.
  336. You have emoted: Gurashi bobs their head side to side as they listen, blinking owlishly at the koi swimming about the waters. "Sorry, did not mean, You specifically..." They smile, embarrassed. As they continue to listen their positioning shifts yet again, and they now cross their legs, resting on their posterior, hands in their lap, watching the waters curiously.
  337.
  338. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Would you grant Me a peculiar question, Gurashi of the Light?"
  339.
  340. You think to yourself: *a morose swirl of lilac hues* ... or fears of someone - Someones - trying to stop you from getting what want...
  341.
  342. You tilt your head and listen intently.
  343.
  344. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "What is it that makes you happy?"
  345.
  346. You blink.
  347.
  348. You have emoted: Gurashi blinks once, twice... Their mouth opens, then closes a few times, and they lean back so that they are resting against a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail, quirking their mouth to the side. Finally, they settle on: "...life, I think." They elaborate carefully. "It is hard, to put into short words..."
  349.
  350. A patient light flickers in the lotuses of the Fulcrux, undaunted by your uncertainty.
  351.
  352. A stirring breeze caresses your exposed skin, sending shivers through your body.
  353.
  354. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "If you find brevity difficult, I do not mind you speaking at length. I asked out of curiosity."
  355.
  356. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "This question has been posed to Me often in recent years, and I find it a difficult one to answer."
  357.
  358. Curiously, you say, "Making new friends and falling in Love, and trying new foods - breathing the air in the winters, and feeling the rain on your face on hot days." They loll their head back. "Opening up a shops to feed peoples, or teaching someone how to play a new game... things never thought would get to experience. Or knew existed. And then sharing those things...just to exist in and of itself, to be fate-touched and free to Choose, makes me happy."
  359.
  360. There is a meditative peace as your words are listened and weighed, the gentle sound of rushing water filling the Fulcrux of Lantra as the Goddess takes your words in with quiet, genuine interest.
  361.
  362. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "Thank you for answering, child of New Celest. I think I understand."
  363.
  364. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "And are you happy now, within the Light?"
  365.
  366. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "The worlds is so big, and beautiful! And, there is so much to see and do and smell and eat and stub your toes on... ah."
  367.
  368. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "It is beautiful, is it not? The Fourth Circle did masterful work."
  369.
  370. A shifting, living poppy of ruby petals displays a myriad of brilliant colours before its petals flash momentarily coalescing into a shade of bright ivory.
  371.
  372. You have emoted: Gurashi considers this next question with wide eyes, staring down at the water, their ears swiveling this way and that. "...You know if, am being honest, Lady Empyreals? Originally, I only came to New Celest 'cause the Glomdoring wouldn't take me back," They confess, fidgeting. "Because, I wanted to feel that could belong somewheres. Wanted, to stay their friend even though they did not want me, for what I did. I felt guilty, for following the Light when still wanted so badly, to be Wyrdenkins... For this, I do not feel proud." Their eyes glaze over, and they reach up to scratch at the edge of the downy feathers that adorn the upper portion of their face. "But, now..."
  373.
  374. You think to yourself: *faintly recalling the kelpie Nalurei as she tucked away their fallen tear, as if it were the most precious thing in the world: "I hope you continue to be glad of your new home..."*.
  375.
  376. Ripples of celestial light radiate out from the centre of the luminous pool as a soft, feminine voice echoes, "It is a terrible thing, to feel a sense of unbelonging and loneliness in a place that once gave you great comfort and joy."
  377.
  378. You glance askance.
  379.
  380. You have emoted: Gurashi slowly looks down at a shifting, living poppy of ivory petals that adorns their wrist. They inhale, looking down at the Mantle of Starlight swirling about their shoulders. "I am" They puff their cheeks. "Happy, here. In the City? In the Light." They stare down at the water tiredly. "It is not.... like before, when, I felt... like was a cat, being petted wrong way. Things that did, pulled against the grains, hurt ... things that do, here. It still... makes me sad, yes - are things I regret, I do." Their mouth quirks to the side. "...but, I do not feel, like that cat, anymore..."
  381.
  382. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "When I do things, to help You, or am learning how to use my swords from Mister Valensandr, learning how to protect, and be Brave... I likes not getting yelled at for being compassionates."
  383.
  384. You throw back your head as you let loose a delighted laugh.
  385.
  386. Pinpricks of celestial light coalesce into the faint outline of a star lotus, which blossoms open to reveal the regal figure of Lantra, the Empyreal.
  387.
  388. LOOKIT SHE
  389. Her slight and statuesque figure exuding a sense of restrained dignity, She is a radiant immortal and possessed of a quiet and unassuming stillness. The Goddess's olive-skinned complexion shines with the dusky radiance of youth, and yet the ancient burden of duty weighs heavily upon Her shoulders, carried with a silent and practised grace. Lost to contemplation, She appraises Her surroundings with a distant air; the grey-tinged gaze of Her celadon blue eyes remains as fathomless and inscrutable as the hazy mists of a waterfall. Despite the seriousness of Her first impressions, however, a gentle smile graces Her lips with an almost maternal tenderness. Her every movement is characterised of an unhurried elegance and poise, reflective of an inner peace as She emanates a soothing white light.
  390. Shimmering tresses of palest starlight spill down Her shoulders in a curtain of white to end at Her waist, nary a strand out of place. Motes of silver and celadon blue interweave through Her immaculate coif, their whispers of colour evoking a breathtaking celestial radiance.
  391. She is wearing:
  392. immaculate vestments of purest white starlight that wreathe Her in a celestial glow
  393. a cascading veil of mist and water lilies that trails at Her feet, shrouding Her face from view
  394. elevated sandals of woven willow leaves that leave lambent motes with each step
  395. a bracelet of woven water and starlight shimmering upon Her wrist
  396. a gold damask cope clasped with a radiant star lotus that covers Her shoulders in a heavy mantle.
  397.
  398. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  399.
  400. Offering a brief, gentle smile, Lantra turns to you and says softly, "I am glad that you have found a home here, in the Light."
  401.
  402. You have emoted: Gurashi lifts their head to regard Lantra as She appears, quickly scrambling to their feet. "Ah! Ouwah! Lady Empyreals HI!" They bow, rising again. Behind them, Ham lets out a gentle 'boof' of greeting, tail wagging behind him.
  403.
  404. Soft laughter as light as a gentle rain spills from Lantra's lips, the melodious sound accompanied by a faintly amused smile.
  405.
  406. Teary-eyed, you say to Lantra, "I have! I have?" They sniffle, reaching up. "I had to talk to my cousingling, last months, to tell them as much. That, once Tridemon and I are married? I will, never go back. Never, be a Wyrdenkin, a-gain."
  407.
  408. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "And, that is, O-K, I think."
  409.
  410. You look at Lantra hopefully.
  411.
  412. Acknowledging the statement with a bow of Her head, Lantra says, "That is well. To leave the shadows of the past behind is no easy feat, child of the Light. And yet I am proud to see you burning bright despite the darkness you have endured." Her voice is kind, considering as She adds, "Your daughter possesses the same Fortitude."
  413.
  414. You have emoted: Gurashi swallows hard. "She helped, in my decisions." They look down, shuffling. "To see her suffering so muchly, really opened eyes, to my own. Was ignoring it, because, was me - but, seeing it in someone else..." They huff and look back up at the Goddess, plumage ruffling up with pride. "She is super resilient, is. Fortitude-y, strongly. I am so proud of her, am!"
  415.
  416. You flap your wings excitedly at Lantra, gusting the air about Her.
  417.
  418. Lantra reaches out to tenderly cup your cheek in Her hand.
  419.
  420. You have emoted: Gurashi stops their flapping and blushes as their cheek is cupped, reaching back to pin their wings to their back with their hands so they may remain attentive.
  421.
  422. Her voice soft and gentle, Lantra, the Empyreal says, "I am glad that you have found happiness here, child. You and Cheliyi both. May you continue to persevere and overcome that which seeks to afflict you with sorrow, and instead choose the path that allows you to flourish in the Light."
  423.
  424. Receding into the mists as Her hand withdraws, Lantra, the Empyreal says, "I am glad that you spoke with Me. I will meditate upon your Wisdom, for a time. I thank you for it."
  425.
  426. Lantra, the Empyreal says, "May you walk in the Light, Gurashi of New Celest."
  427.
  428. Quietly, you say, "...many thank Yous." Their smile wavers. "Being sad is heavy. Hard to get free, from. But, is possible! Yes."
  429.
  430. You nod your head emphatically.
  431.
  432. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Lantra.
  433.
  434. In an airy, melodic voice, you say to Lantra, "Many thank Yous! For answering my questions... and trying to answer the ones that didn't know! S'O-K!"
  435.
  436. There is a faint light that shimmers around Lantra at your words, a subtle radiance indicative of the faintest smile behind Her starlit veil. "You are most welcome, child."
  437.
  438. A quiet breeze sweeps through the vicinity as Lantra, the Empyreal dissolves in a luminous swirl of white lotus petals, leaving only twinkling motes of starlight in Her wake.
  439.
  440. You bounce up and down.
  441.
  442. Lantra, the Empyreal has bestowed Her divine truefavour upon you. It will last for 1 month.
  443.
  444. You eyes light up as you smile.
  445.
  446. Soothing winds whisper past you on an errant breeze, rippling through the Fulcrux's sparkling mists like water.
  447.
  448. You have emoted: Gurashi exhales finally, then bows before the master shrine of Lantra. "Many thank Yous, Lady Empyreal," They warble as they rise, flapping their wings again and smiling. They twirl on one foot and turn to face a tawny Nyalian mastiff sporting spiky steel platemail, draping their arms across the giant creature's side. "O-K, Ham! We are done, here! Yus, let us go. Thank you for being so goodly behaved yes you -was- you -were-," They squish the mastiff's face, ignoring the slobber dripping onto their hands as they jiggle the dog's jowls for a few moments, then move for the entrance to the Fulcrux, humming.
  449.
  450. As you offer Mount Zoaka's Titanium Brazier of Explosive Transformation unto Lantra, the Empyreal, the offering vanishes in a swirl of water and light, enveloped completely in a celestial glow that leaves only a soothing white mist in its wake
  451.
  452. The pulsing beam from New Celest's lighthouse surges brilliantly, a shining beacon of hope that cuts through the night sky across the entirety of the Basin of Life.
  453.
  454. You gaze softens as you smile.
  455.
  456. You think to yourself: ... I should have told Her swingsets.
