Alrighty, going over some basic Commands

As I'm sure you already know, we have a new system with tickets, all ahelps are displayed in this and such, you are able to take ahelps, and even join in on one should it be needed, as well as closing them.

As a trial, you we will assume that you have access to everything a normal moderator has access to, which includes Temp bans and Temp Job bans, perma bans, kicks, winds and you get the gist
First Question, a ticket comes up from someone new to the server, you check their account connection age and it says 0 days, they are speaking in very broken english, only have a first name for their character, and ask "how get to off spawn??". When you jump to them they are in the odin arrivals area.

gotta hit them up with that generic "What's crackalackin homie" and say "Hi!", and make sure they know whats going on in the hood.   tell them about the Odin, tell them where to go to the spawn, make sure they read the rules, and answer any questions that come.   if they're an important job like an officer or whatever, it's probably for the best to hit them up and let them know they should probably try something else first if they're not familiar w/ the aurora

Alright, next question.

You receive an ahelp from a disgruntled Security member, they were killed by an Antag  pretty early in the round, and are demanding that the antag be spoken to about what happened. You check the antags notes, and he has multiple notes and warnings about poor antag role play, and for having a general LRP attitude. How do you proceed?(edited)

Impartiality's important as, but notes exist for a reason. First, I gotta figure out what the specific grievance is. Can't help an antagonist improve without knowing what the sec officer thinks he did wrong.

Alright, Third Question.

You are aghosting around, and you see another moderators aghost following around some cultists hiding in maintenance round start, the moderator just so happens to be a security guard, a few moments later they go to the exact maintenance that the cult was at, and arrests the cultist. You are the only other staff on at the time who witnesses this, how do you proceed?

He responds that he just "got lucky", but then proceeds to do something similar again, finding the other only cultist hidden in the depths of maintenance not even 30 minutes into the round, at this point the first cultist ahelps saying they believe someone is metagaming, the other moderator take the ahelp, states it's an IC issue, and closes it.

A group of mercs is using AOOC to communicate their gimmick at the beginning of the round, but half way through the round, they start talking about what is happening to them and where they are using AOOC, what do you do?

then i'm totally willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and   just assume it's all innocent. just let him  know that not knowing that staff are there isn't an excuse to break the rules, and give him a reminder to look over the rules so this doesn't happen again.   note the lad, let's give some INFO to our   fellow moderators up in here. i might have done a similar thing at 7 days if i thought   someone was just asking rather than saying it was a rule

You were previously in CCIAA, and only had a short amount of time there, what was the reason you left so quickly, and are you likely to do the same as a moderator?

makes sense. i left CCIA because   the system   was horrific to use, it was  an incredible pain to try to get people into interviews, and it felt   very. disconnected. not because i lost interest, but because when i got into it i found there wasn't really that much intereset to begiin with
so,  if i am, we'll find out very soon into the trial period, but i doubt it significantly
just due to how more  hands on staffing is

You are very joke-y, and even thought the interview made some jokes as well, as a moderator and admin you are expected to keep a good amount of professionalism, we do joke around in staff chat and msay from time to time, but when you're on the job, you're on the job.

needs to improve,  big time.   i could list a lot, but basically  i think the server isn't serious enough in it's approach to RP. we need to seperate players and characters, we need to talk more to players about how they can improve (even when not breaking the rules), and we need to   provide tools for people to improve. we're filling the HRP niche here.   we gotta do it proper
