  2. The Shavij are a playable race within the world of Aedenia. They are depicted as an insectoid type people, with some exhibiting signs of exoskeletons, unique eyes, multiple arms, etc. As the time of this update, there are 5 notable insectoids to choose from, but the studio has stated interest in creating more. While initial reaction to their introduction into the game was something of a mixed reaction, most players seem not to mind, especially those with phobias to the real-world equivalent, with most feeling that the difference is clear.

  4. Shavij characters tend to boast incredibly durable armor buffs, the ability to wield multiple small arms, and boosted agility. However, notable weaknesses include weakened resistances to elements, aliments, and take a negative to their intelligence. And while players can make Shavij mages, it is often seen as a challenge, as the negative status often makes the grind more difficult. However, most players tend to choose more physical based classes, mainly warriors and rouges, as their natural armor and some Shavij coming with multiple arms, or even bladed appendages (see Mantis), making them quite difficult opponents in PVP, and valuable tanks/DPS in PVE/Raids.

  9. 'Üürnii, a strange land for adventurers to visit. Twisted landscapes, husks and abandoned hives dot the lands. If you are walking through the Shavij land, whether to seek Ether, or simply passing through, best to keep one eye open while you sleep, or you may find yourself at the mercy at one of the Barons. But in my experience, remain calm, and they aren't that bad. Just, mind the noises.'

  12. The Shavij are often seen as a wild race, living among an untamed land, and can be seen as savage. However, most commoners might of only seen the drones of some Shavij, but the more you travel deeper into Üürnii, the more you see the culture of these strange beings. They are an ancient race, whose lands are craggy, filled with terrible beasts, and quite diverse in genomes. While on the outside, the Shavij come off as uncivilized, wild animals, there is a leadership, held counsel to the 5 Barons of the territories, who in turn, pass on their ideas and discussions to the Monarch. Each Baron carries weight within the government of the Shavij, especially over the land they control, and those who live within them, however, only the Monarch has the authority to make a decision that would effect Üürnii as a whole. The Monarch's powers are often described as all-powerful, as she protects the Primordial Flame within the capital of Zögii. It is an artifact that very few have laid witnessed too, as the city itself is very difficult for outsiders to enter.

  14. Shavij weapons and armor tend to be personalized. When a drone becomes a warrior, they must past one final test, a Great Hunt that proves the worthy to becoming true warriors. They are often sharp weapons, the blacksmiths of a Shavij ensures that their weapons fit the wielder perfectly. While to most others, they seem crude, and almost tribalistic, they are often crafted from durable metals found in abundance within the mines of Üürnii, or from the parts of the great creatures that roam the land.

  16. Shavij outside their homeland are often met with awkward glances, and even some stores outright refuse service to them. However, they are people of the land, and as such, seldom do they find themselves among civilization, and on the reverse, outsiders inside of the kingdom are welcomed, at an arm's distance. Business is conducted in swift manners, and often, Shavij employ slaves, or those willing to live among those people, to translate for them if needed.
