  1. Dear H2H,
  2. I thought of a new scoring system for heads up play, tell me what you think. After one player gets to the goal, the second player has 60 seconds to get to the goal or lose the game. If that player can finish in 60 seconds, then the winner is decided by which of the two players won the majority of the three categories.
  3.
  4. There are three categories:
  5. Points
  6. Time (who got to the goal first)
  7. and an X-Factor.
  8.
  9. Let's use Addams family as an example. The goal would be to get to Tour the Mansion. Once a player starts Tour the Mansion, that player takes his hands off the flippers. The X-factor would be whoever has the most Trainwrecks. If both players have the same number of Train wrecks, than you could use Bear Ramps as a tiebreaker. Or you could devise a formula where Trainwrecks are worth 10 points and Bear Ramps are worth 1. Or you could add more X-factors, and have the categories be Points, Time, Trainwrecks, Bear Ramps, and Bonus X.
  10.
  11. Each game would need a different X-factor. For instance, in Game of Thrones you could use Gold, or in Pirates of the Caribbean you could use... Gold. Or in Scared Stiff you could use how many Spider Spinner inserts lit the player has lit. Etcetera, etcetera.
  12.
  13. Of course, the problem with this idea is that whatever you use for X-factor won't always be displayed on the victory screen. But if the match is being recorded it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. And you'd need someone with a stopwatch who's willing to count down sixty seconds.
  14.
  15. I got the idea from the versus mode in Sonic Mania. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b4QqwBO96c
  16.
  17. That's my idea. Sometimes I read an idea someone posted online and I think it sucks balls, and I can't believe they had the courage to share it with the world. Hope you don't feel that way about my idea!
