His parents thought this was maybe because of the "american" lifestyle and decided to move to Korea when Min was 10 years old. At Korea, Min was able to make friends easily but his troublemaker side would still pop up. His parents tried to get him to stop but he wouldn't listen. One day when Min was 12 years old his mom was diagnosed with cancer. He didn't find out until he was 13 and felt extremely bad afterwards. He regretted giving his mom a hard time while she was diagnosed with cancer. He was so heartbroken, scared, worried and regretful. That day he did a complete 180° turn. His grades were phenomenal, his behavior was off the charts, was nice to every kid, good comments from parents came to him and he listened to his teachers and parents more especially his mom. He was always around her, taking care of her, treating her to whatever he wanted etc, scared if she might one day just suddenly leave. However is dream of becoming an idol couldn't happen anymore since his mom got sick. He knew training to be an idol meant leaving his moms side for many hours and not being able to help her, yet he needed a way to make money so he can pay for his moms medicine and hospital fees since his dads job didn't give that much of a good pay. So one of his friends introduced him to this "program" where you'll make lots of money completing missions they give you. He was 16 when he joined not knowing it was to be a spy. When he did find out he thought it was a bit sketchy but kept doing his job.
