MATCHMAKER MATCHMAKER MAKE ME A MATCH

Alexithymiaa: -Brad sat at one of the booths with a plate of pancakes in front of him covered in syrup and whipped cream and sliced bananas. He was digging in and enjoying the fuck out of those delicious pancakes when his phone rang, vibrating across the table. Looking down to see Evan's name on the screen, he picked it up and put it to his ear. "Yeah? I'm eating. At the cafe... no, you don't have to-" He stopped when the call ended, letting out a heavy sigh because he knew Evan would be on his way in a minute.-
Covet: Kelsey looked up from her phone, she'd been sending emails off in correspondence to the team of people helping with costumes and all that good stuffs most of the day. She'd barely touched her chicken cesar salad because of it, then looked at Brad, "Hmm? Who was that?" She asked tilting her head to the side, since she hadn't been paying attention?
Alexithymiaa: "Evan." He said shortly, shoving a cut stack of soaked pancakes into his mouth. "He wants to talk to me about my schedule for tomorrow. I think he's catching on that I dont actually check my schedule ahead of time so now he tries to brief me the day before even when I tell him not to."-
Covet: "Oh, I see. Well that's nice of him, though, you could get better at that. The more in demand you become the busier you're going to be." Kelsey told him taking a quick bite before she heard her phone go off again. She paused and counted on her fingers for a moment then went back to typing on her phone.
Alexithymiaa: "I mean yeah it's nice of him, but I don't really care ahead of time unless it's something big. He set my phone up to alert me an hour before things anyway. I don't need more than that." He stabbed at more pancakes, watching her go on her phone. "What are you doing?"-
Covet: "Going over all the different costumes I have to do for the video, They want to do at least 2 to three of them each day." Kelsey said. " I think my favorite one so far, is the white minidress with the fuzzy hood. But that's because it's going to look all wintery, and you know how I feel about winter." She said with a grin.
Alexithymiaa: "I know how you feel about like every season. You find the best in each one." He said with a grin as Evan bustled into the cafe. Letting out a groan, he lowered his head, hoping he wouldn't notice them sitting there. // Evan glanced around and immediately spotted Brad and Kelsey, walking up to the table and smiling down at them. "Hey. How are y'all doing?"-
Covet: Kelsey laughed at Brad's reaction, then turned around to see Evan come in, "Hi there, good to see you. Doing good, just getting prepped for the busy weeks coming up."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, awesome." Brad grumbled, shoving more pancakes into his fucking face. "You didn't have to come down here." // "Oh, are you excited for the video shoot?" Evan asked her because of course he knew when that shit was and like every detail. "Yes I did. You don't listen when I call you to go overyour schedule."-
Covet: "Oh my goodness yes, There's going to be so much going on, and Bradley's going to do amazing." She told Evan. Then she laughed when Evan told Brad how it was going to be."
Alexithymiaa: -Brad rolled his eyes, slumping down in his seat. "Fine. Go." // Evan took a deep breath, lifting his phone to look at the screen. "I've got your alarm set for ten tomorrow which will leave you an hour to come to your senses and hit snooze a few times before your eleven o'clock skype meeting. You've got a one o'clock lunch with Stanley from the studio, and your mom called today and I told her you'd call her tomorrow afternoon so after your lunch, you need to call your mom."-
Covet: "I'll make sure he calls his mom." Kelsey chimed in, "And I'll make sure he's up and ready for his meeting with clothes on." She added.
Alexithymiaa: "Skype meeting with who?" He sneered, instantly annoyed because he hates skype meetings. "Ugh, can't you spread things out throughout the week so it's not ruining my whole day with shit?" He was being a baby. // "Thanks Kels." He said with a smile, pushing his phone back down into his pocket. "Your skype meeting with Nicki's agent to lock down your contract for her video. Which you asked me to set up like three days ago...." He was kind of unamused with how forgetful Brad was.-
Covet: "Bradley, no complaining. This is your job, it's one meeting, that you don't even have to leave your room for, and it's only your afternoon that's taken up, which is your morning, so you practically have the whole rest of the day." She told him taking another bite.
Alexithymiaa: "I have to get dressed." He whined, leaning his head back and poking his fork through the river of syrup on his plate. "Skype meetings are just so awkward. I'd rather meet in person." // "I could book you a flight back out to LA if you want to meet in person..." Evan said blandly before looking to Kelsey. "Thank you Kelsey."-
Covet: "At least a shirt, and don't stand up while you're on the call." Kelsey said, "Well, this isn't about you, necessarily, it's about Nicki, so you need to put a shirt... at least." She added. "No, if he gets flown out to LA, that means that I won't get to see him this week, and we're kidless this week." She said to Evan.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah I was in LA last weekend. I'm good for a few weeks, at least." He said, waving him off before looking at Kelsey. "Definitely need to take full advantage of being kidless." // Evan started to laugh, running his fingers back through his gorgeous fluffy hair. "Is that why I haven't seen Holly around in the last couple days?"-
Covet: Kelsey smiled with a smirk, taking a drink from her glass. "Sort of Connor's at bible camp this week, So she took some time off for herself for the summer, she should be back next week though." She said smiling at Evan, then looking at Brad, with am amused look on her face.
Alexithymiaa: -Since Brad is fucking oblivious to most things going on around him, he was staring at his empty plate sadly before looking up at Kelsey. "What's with the face?" // "Oh, nice. Good for her." Evan said with a nod, a little awkwardly before turning his attention to Brad. "I'll call you around 10:30 tomorrow to make sure you're awake before you're meeting. Y'all have a good night." Evan said with a little dip, turning to head out of the cafe.-
Covet: "Thanks Evan, have a great night." She said looking at Brad, rolling her eyes. Once Evan had left she turned to look at Brad, "He soo totally has a thing for Holly." She said quickly and quietly leaning over the table.
Alexithymiaa: -He furrowed his brows, looking in the direction Evan had left in before looking back at Kelsey. "What? No he doesn't. Why do you think that? He didn't even say anything."-
Covet: "Yes he did, He asked specifically about Holly. Not Connor, Holly. He wouldn't have brought her up if he wasn't interested." She said as she pushed her plate away.
Alexithymiaa: "That doesnt mean anything." Brad brushed off, sliding out of the booth to stand up. He pulled his wallet from his pocket to drop a few bills onto the table for tip before turning to her again. "Does this mean you're going to try to play matchmaker?"-
Covet: "Maybe, or maybe I'll just let it take it's natural course. It defnitely means something, just cause you can't see it, doesn't mean anything." She told him sticking out her tongue as she stood up and wrapped herself around his arm.
Alexithymiaa: "Good. Leave them alone. You're imagining this anyway. The only thing Evan is interested in, is his job." He said, slipping his arm around her back and guiding her toward the exit. "You shouldn't be meddling anyway."-
Covet: "You say that like you've never meddled." Kelsey said rolling her eyes as she walked out with him.
