  17. Some people wish they had a stable and happy family growing up, they dream of building a family that mirrors the image in their heads of how a stable and happy family should look like. But sometimes things dont always turn out the way we envisioned them. Differences and inconveniences do occur. Bickering and arguments start to become a daily routine in people's lives. And in severe cases, domestic violence and drugs become the tipping point for many that lead to the separation of their families. Spouses divorcing, partners separating, and ugly custody battles become an ongoing theme in these instances. With one parent out of the picture, the single parent is now forced to take on both roles of the parents, being a mother, and a father, or vice versa. Some common hurdles that single parents face are mainly financial. Single working class parents make less money than married working class parents with dual incomes. Other issues that single parents face include; fulfilling their children's emotional needs and providing a healthy and happy home enviroment for them. Statistically, children who were raised by one parent display more signs of depression and anxiety than children who were raised by both parents. Research has also found that children who were raised by both parents, perform much better in school and college and are more likely to graduate than those children who were raised by one parent only.

  19. Spouses or partners who share a child together, must give one and other emotional support when raising a child together. Letting your partner unwind and relax while sharing their responsibilities, is essential to maintain a healthy and stable family dynamic. As the saying goes ''teamwork makes the dream work''.
  20. For women it seems to be easier than men, because women are able to multitask and be flexible when it comes to raising a child by themselves, whereas men seem to have it more difficult. Men aren't as emotionally supportive as their female counterparts.

  23. The idea of raising a child alone may frighten some people, it's certainly not an easy task, but it isn't impossible either. If we bring up all of the aspects of raising a child alone, it may seem daunting or burdening when you take into account all of the responsibilities and the work that needs to be put into raising a child by yourself. However, with the proper tools, patience and knowledge, even the most insecure or inexperienced can succeed.
